Are Jumping stilts worth it?

Yes, stilts are approved by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). There are specific OSHA standards that apply to the use of stilts in the workplace. These standards cover the design, construction, use, and maintenance of stilts.

Do you walk faster in stilts?

Stilts are a type of footwear that helps people to walk faster. They are basically long pieces of wood or metal that people strap to their legs in order to walk taller and faster. Stilts have been around for centuries and were originally used by farmers and other workers who needed to cover a lot of ground quickly. These days, stilts are mostly used for fun and recreation. Walking on stilts takes some practice, but once you get the hang of it, you can really pick up speed. So if you're looking for a way to walk faster, give stilts a try!

Geospace Original Walkaroo 'Wee' Balance Stilts with Adjustable Height for Little Kids & Beginners (Ages 4+) Active Play, in Assorted Colors (Red or Blue) Review:

My 4-year-old enjoys doing this, but he definitely needs assistance. He cannot handle the weight by himself. He also needs assistance with balance. The local children all gave it a shot, with varied degrees of success. Some people adored it, while others were scared off. The experimentation of some playful grownups was equally fascinating to onlookers. There are a few design elements that deserve attention.1. It's less ergonomic than it seems. The stilts themselves are unbalanced, but the handles and footrests are good. The handle arms' off-center location causes gravity to push them to one side. The user must aggressively counterbalance the grips' lateral pull while while maintaining their balance. It's quite difficult, and not all users seem to "understand it." Having said that, I discovered it to be quite similar to other balance sports (like skiing, snowboarding, etc.), requiring a significant amount of initial difficulty until learning eventually "clicks." As long as you persevere through the learning process, it's still a ton of fun. A great challenge for anyone who like balancing. It intimidated the youngsters in our neighborhood who are reserved or not very athletic.2. Heavy. It is cheap. I would have purchased the aluminum model if I had more money. The younger children (ages 4-6) can't even take these heavy ones next door to play with their buddies since they are so heavy. They're entertaining enough that I'm happy to have them, but if it fits into your budget, just buy the metal model.

Skyrunner-Iconiciris Store Iconiciris Kids/Child Youth Kangaroo Shoes Jumping Stilts Fitness Exercise (66-110lbs/30~50kg) (black) Review:

Entertaining:) The ten-year-old niece does like them, but it took her a day of walking on them for her to figure out how to bounce. And the main issue was that she wasn't heavy enough. These are well constructed and functional! She lives on a dirt road, so it's fantastic that they also work outside. Although my little niece had no trouble standing on them and maintaining her balance, it took her a day before she tried to bounce. Furthermore, she doesn't have the weight to bounce very high, but perhaps next year:)

Geospace WALKAROO Xtreme Steel Balance Stilts with Height Adjustable Vert Lifters by Air Kicks Review:

Present from Christmas, so it's still new, but so far so good. I bought these for my daughter, who is seven. The stilts are simple to put together and modify in height. All three girls adore them, and they appear to be strong. The grips constantly coming unfastened, I've noticed. One of the handles really came off when my daughter was using them. They are hex bolts that can be changed with the provided hex key (Alan wrench). She wasn't hurt, but one might have been because losing balance when the handle broke could have been dangerous. I'll watch them closely to see how sloppy they become. Since it appeared to harm the paint, I was hesitant to overtighten. I'd hate to get nicks from every level before if we height-adjust the stilts (an easy process). But so far, this is a fantastic gift. My seven-year-old has mastered them in just two days and loves using her stilts outside.

Indy Kids' Steady Stilts, Red, Medium Review:

She questioned whether I had actually worn stilts as a child, so I told her I couldn't wait for spring so I could teach my granddaughter how to use them. This 68-year-old grandmother mounted the stilts when she opened the box to demonstrate how I used to walk on them. My daughter-in-law, who had never heard of or used stilts, was in awe at my mobility. Pure joy, not an electronic game! I won't allow her to break a leg, sorry.

Original Walkaroo Steel Stilts by Air Kicks with Ergonomic Design for Easy Balance Walking (Blue) Review:

I hoped she would like these when faced with the choice of buying an electronic device or these for a 10-year-old girl's birthday. I had hours of fun using homemade 2x4 stilts as a child, but they weren't as nice as these, so I decided I'd give them a try for my granddaughter. She adored them! It took her nearly an hour of attempting to keep up with them before she eventually mastered it, after which she could not be stopped. I gave them to her two days before her actual birthday party, so I was pleasantly pleased when she brought them out, greeted everyone in the room, and then began showing her pals how to walk on them at the celebration. HUGE hit!

Flybar Maverick Walking Stilts for Kids (Small) – Adjustable Height – for Ages 5 & Up, Up to 190 Pounds Review:

We gave in to my daughter's request for them for Christmas. These offer a full foot platform, adjust to the child's height, and are simple to assemble. My daughter had to give standing on them a few attempts before she got the hang of it, but using a wall to assist her stand up and balance at first seemed to work. Most children, in my opinion, will take this up quite fast and learn to hold them while coordinating how to walk on them. The handles have a cane-like appearance, but they also give stability. These have an impressive weight range that will easily fit almost all children up through adolescence.

Flybar Master Walking Stilts (Large), Adjustable Height – for Ages 10 & Up, Up to 200 Lbs Review:

These were acquired for my son's thirteenth birthday. The best stilts he has ever used, according to him, are these. They feature non-slip rubber soles, which he likes since it is considerably thicker and more durable than the rubber on other stilts he has tried, which eventually wore away to reveal the metal. They are also incredibly adaptable and easily accommodate his size. The shoulder supports assist in keeping you balanced while you walk. The broad foot pad where your feet land makes it simpler to help yourself get onto the stilts, and it also makes walking easier. There are no faults, and the blue color is vivid. Each of the poles is comfortably cushioned across a sizable portion. We heartily endorse these stilts.

Champion Sports Platform Kid Stilts: Classic Kids Party, Birthday, and Picnic Game Set Review:

We have a 7-year-old grandaughter and identical triplet grandkids who are 4 years old. On Christmas Day, everyone enjoyed these. They didn't require them to wait for grownups to assemble some of their other toys because they could all do them right away. They all quickly adjusted to needing to hold onto the ropes, and they now all enjoy using them.Helium balloons were brought over to the house one day, and of course they landed up on the ceiling. A triplet soon realized that the "stompers" had raised him just high enough to reach the string. They are reliable, don't leave stains on floors, and have a wide variety of colors. Would make a wonderful present for a preschool or daycare.I deducted half a star because to the cord. A few of the cords have a narrow section (a few inches long) where a braided cord with multiple strands is missing. Although it creates a weak area in the chord, the situation is currently not dangerous. The cost of every other pair of stompers I examined was around $10. I was able to get all 6 pairs for about $30, providing plenty for the grandchildren and a few of their friends.

Skyrunner Adult Kangaroo Shoes Jumping Stilts Fitness Exercise (200-242lbs/90~110kg) Bouncing Shoes Review:

arrived really quickly! The delivery was around two weeks earlier than what Amazon had predicted, which is always a plus.Out of the box, it's pretty much ready to use, although it needs a (L?) Wrench to tighten any bolts and adjust the height.Skyrunners, knee pads, wrist and palm guards, knee supports, instructions, and a CD (that I haven't put in yet) were all included.A little background: on the recommendation of another costumer, I bought these for a costume (I have no faith in making my own). Therefore, for people planning to use these for running or leaping, my review won't be as helpful.I haven't had a chance to move around in them yet; the most I've done is stand up and hold onto a lamp for dear life. With that said, it strongly advises that you perform the action outside and in the company of another person.Once I get a spotter, I'll update!Even though I'm afraid of falling on my face right now, I actually feel very secure on these. They creak, but I expected that after having seen them in use before. One of my straps was frayed, but if you run into it, a fast pass with a lighter can fix it.Also, take care not to overtighten your straps because doing so could cause the locking snap to pop out. If you are one of those persons who pulls extra tight, just be cautious.
