I bought these for my nearly 2-year-old, and she adores them. I can lay these out for her, put on a show, and then work uninterruptedly on chores or preparing dinner. I can't say the same for other toys, but they keep her interest for more than 10 minutes. Excellent for small hands, this watering can is small. For the tiny ones under my care, I look for products that are manufactured with quality, effectiveness, and a practical purpose. These are a huge success! Yes, because they are so small, one must repeatedly refill them for the little gardeners, but because the kids love using these so much, I don't mind. I recently ordered two for my twins, who are 3 years old. They cherish them. I use them (sometimes) to read small print because they are enjoyable to use, simple to carry, and actually magnify. Since everything is plastic, shards are not a concern. The performance is unaffected by any scratches or scuffs that may result from how they play with them. When the lense briefly slipped out of the frame, I simply put it back in and the issue was resolved. I'm not surprised about it because my family puts those poor magnifying lenses through a lot of torture. Price is also reasonable.

Hard plastic wheels have a diameter of four inches. The handle's top is 20 1/4 inches off the ground. There are no wires to untangle, no plastic straps or clear plastic shells to cut through. It is packaged in a simple brown box with the words Little Tikes and Gas 'n Go Mower in the corners of each side, along with some Little Tikes contact information. So, unless your child can read, he won't know what's inside if he sees it come. It requires no tools and only a few simple assembly steps to put together.The mower offers a lot of kid-friendly features, including: A plastic key that actually turns but, thankfully, does not detach is located higher on the handle. in order to prevent loss. There is a small handle that can be used as a throttle. It includes a pull cord similar to a real lawn mower, and when you pull it, it sounds like the mower is actually starting up. Naturally, once the cable retracts into the mower, the revving noise stops. But for a brief period, it sounds fantastic, as though the kid is actually turning on the lawnmower. (This lawnmower DOES NOT blow bubbles, and it DOES NOT require batteries. We weren't seeking for a kid's mower to blow bubbles because there are other mowers that do so, but his Daddy's mower doesn't.) It has a little red gas can that fits snuggly in an indentation on the mower's back. The gas can's screw lid can be opened to "fill" the tank with gas. It simply needs to be turned half a turn to open the cap, which is secured with a plastic strip so it won't get lost. ( By the way, it's not a genuine tank and couldn't possibly store any liquid. The nozzle of the makeshift gas can can be inserted there, but barely. Except for the circular portion on top that stores 8 incredibly tiny colorful balls behind a clear plastic dome, this mower looks rather realistic overall. (Consider the toys with a handle that make a lot of noise as the balls pop up and down.) Thankfully, that popping noise is not made by this mower. There are only 8 little balls in the entire set. The transparent dome is not very tall, and the balls hardly rise. The white disk that the balls are resting on is what truly produces noise. Because that disk rises slightly every time the wheels turn, the lawn mower will create a clickity-clacking noise when being pushed, which is not nearly as loud or irritating as those poppers on a stick. Although the balls did slightly pop up, the sound was hardly audible. I didn't mind the clickity clack noise at all, though it might after an hour of use! The many entertaining features of this lawnmower will keep kids interested.This was purchased for a young child who will soon start walking. We reasoned that he may use it to practice walking by using it as a "walker." NOT SO. The moment he grabbed the grip to support himself, he promptly stood up. It began to tilt over backwards as soon as he took a step, forcing him to swiftly SIT. Three times he tried before giving up. It includes a "back splash" that is possibly meant to prevent it from tipping backwards, but with a youngster who is not yet walking and using the mower to support himself while he learns to walk, it is completely useless. Although I was quite disappointed, I can't deduct a star because the product information states that it is intended for 18-month-olds. I confirmed this three times, but it also states in the product information that it is intended for youngsters up to the age of 15. I therefore hoped that the beginning age would be "off," just like the ending age is. (Amazon should change that.) In the end, it is beneficial for a young child who is able to stand unassisted and is already walking.Because it is difficult to push in thick grass, like our floratam, I deducted one point (St. Augustine). The mower doesn't readily push through dense grass because it sits too low to the ground and the rear splash thing also drags, even if the grass is relatively low (which it isn't if it needs to be mowed). We wanted this mower so the kid could be mowing outside as his dad does it (on the opposite side of the yard from the real mower of course). The driveway can't be "mowed" in the same way.However, we'll leave it around for him to utilize whenever he DOES start walking. Although I wish it were raised a little bit higher off the ground to make it easier to push over dense grass and hilly terrain, it is definitely worth the $15 we spent for it.

The new favorite toy of my son! His age is two and a half. He is completely enthralled by the lawn mower and adores seeing his father cut the grass. I was aware that he required a personal one, too! When he got it, he was ecstatic. He asked me every day until it arrived if his lawn mower was coming in the mail that day and kept an eye out for the mailman after I told him it would. On the first day it was here, he spent hours playing with it before insisting on placing it next to his bed on the floor so he could sleep that night. The toy is of excellent quality. My son loves to pretend that he is filling up his lawn mower with gas, therefore I appreciate that it comes with a small gas can. The cable that may be pulled to "start" the mower is another fantastic feature. He believes it's exactly like his father's!

Over the summer, my 5-year-old granddaughter planted this garden. It included a fantastic selection of organic herbs, lettuces, and greens.The entire seed packet was thrown into the fairy garden at once by my granddaughter, which made me laugh. We had an abundance of sprouts in a week (too many for the size of the container). After a few weeks, the sproutings started to disappear. The seedlings were subsequently moved (not very carefully) into a window planting box. To give your child the opportunity to observe the early stages of growth, I advise putting a third of the seeds that are included in the package in the fairy garden. I recommend transplanting the seedlings to a larger container once they are between one and two inches tall so you can allow them room to spread out and thrive. The fairy garden can then be planted with a fresh produce. Since July, I've added a photo of the second crop. Red gigantic mustard greens, arugula, dill, salad greens, and chicory come to mind.
