At first, I was hesitant to dive in. For a few slot machines I was refurbishing for domestic usage, I required some volume control adjusters. Volume control is unavoidably required for home use since, as some of you may know, slot machines are OBNOXIOUSLY loud.I used a 1k ohm resister for the large speaker at the bottom and two 500 ohm resistors for the two smaller speakers. They are ideal for people who don't frequently need to change the voltage or loudness.

I am happy with the purchase of these potentiometers that I recently received. The wrapping was clever because these kinds of plastic boxes can pop apart during transit, leaving you with a huge mess. To combat this, they have used plastic wrap within the box to make sure that even if the box opens, the contents will stay in their designated compartments. High-quality potentiometers are used throughout. Definitely would purchase again.

Excellent selection and price. You receive one potentiometer, for a total of 10 pieces, as you can see in the photographs, in each of the container's compartments. Although they might not perfectly align with the compartment, the labels on the underside of the lid identify each pot by name.These tiny potentiometers fit into a breadboard with ease. They are simple to use thanks to the inbuilt knob.Each potentiometer has three leads, but neither the instructions nor the circuit schematic specify what each one is for. For reference, if you turn a pot upside down, the two leads that are farthest away on the sides are positive and negative; which one is which is presumably determined arbitrarily. The output of adjusting the resistance by moving the knob is the one in the center, near the "bottom."I set up a straightforward LED circuit to test a few items, and they appeared to be functional. If you need an example of how to put it up, look at the photographs of my straightforward breadboard circuit.There are just two suggestions to improve this:1. Display a circuit schematic to show which lead goes where. This may be clear to seasoned electrical engineers, but it may not be to the novice purchasing this kit.2. There is no indication on the potentiometers themselves to show the maximum resistance, which is probably not a huge concern. There is a part number written in tiny white letters, but there is no legend to use as a guide. The only way to determine which bin they are in is by looking at the lid. As a result, if the parts are mixed up, you might not know what the resistance of each individual part is (although you could check it with a voltmeter if you have one).Apart from these two minor issues, which apply to almost any electrical component you might buy, this is a great kit, and the few components I've tested so far seem to function as promised.

For my son, who is learning to build breadboard circuits, I had bought this kit. The cost is astronomical! For these parts, I would have paid 8 times more from other electrical vendors. These "pots" have 25 turns, so you may modify the resistance values with extreme precision. When you get at the destination, they usually make a clicking noise. It includes three pins underneath for people who are unfamiliar with these gadgets. The total resistance value of the "pot" will be displayed on an Ohm-meter when it is linked to the two outer pins. To have adjustable resistance, use the central pin and one of the outer pins. As the adjuster is rotated counterclockwise, one of the exterior pins to the center pin will experience a rise in resistance, while the other outer pin will experience a decrease in resistance. The parts next to the adjuster are marked with the resistance code that can be found in the product description. The first and second digits are the first two numbers of the resistance value, and the third digit indicates how many zeros there are: code 501 is 50 plus one more zero (500 Ohms), code 102 is ten and two additional zeros (1000 Ohms), code 104 is ten and four additional zeros (100000 Ohms), and so on. Therefore, these little encoders are just what I required and are a fantastic price. Items arrived a day early, and shipping was quick as always. A tiny bag containing 5 washers and nuts was provided with the encoders, which pleased me because from reading other reviews on Amazon I had assumed I would need to find a source for them. Perfect! The included knobs initially appear a little small, but they will fit. Since they are continuous rotation encoders, I'm not sure why they have pointers on them, but they look great, so I won't complain.

This small package is excellent. I took a close look at a number of the trimmer potentiometer kits that are offered on Amazon, and this one seems to offer the best value.While many of the other kits on the market aren't rated that high, the pots themselves have a 0.1 watt rating. One useful use of this is the ability to drive five 20mW LEDs in sequence with only one of these at maximum brightness as opposed to just a few on a 0.05W pot.I randomly selected a few potentiometers to measure, and they were all within 10% of their specified resistance, which is also great.Additionally, it arrived in a lovely package that beautifully displayed each item.

These are of high calibre! I was able to bend my pins 90 degrees for a special project setting without worrying that they would break (unlike other brands out there).The fact that these are slow swiping means that they cannot go from 0 to 100 in milliseconds, but I have yet to find this to be a limitation in any way.These suit two separate knob styles from two different businesses, therefore they adhere to manufacturing requirements, in my experience.

Amazingly small resistors. They have a tiny worm gear that rotates roughly 300 degrees over a resistant substance and is constructed of a brass screw and a plastic cog. If you err on any side, it doesn't hurt but instead clicks to let you know you've reached the conclusion. Resistance varies smoothly, with perhaps a small amount of jumpiness at the low end, but this is not a problem. If the resistance is 100 ohms overall and you are 30% from the left pin, the middle pin will give you either 30 or 70 ohms, depending on which side pin you choose. I opened one to check (pic).

These are largely true. There will be some that are slightly incorrect but not significantly so. These are what I'm utilizing in a Raspberry Pi-based potentiometer/rotary encoder control synth. The shafts are a touch short, but I had no trouble at all mounting them in some holes I had drilled in a plastic project box. The knobs look beautiful and feel good. They are plastic, yet at times have a metallic sense. These are superior to other $10,000 pots I've purchased from Amazon, such the ones with the yellow knobs. I'm giving this 4 instead of 5 stars because I think they're a touch pricey and the accuracy can be a little iffy.
