I've used the red and blue original Invisalign case as well as a standard retainer case, and neither of them compare in the slightest. This one is unquestionably king. Due to its small profile, it is simple to carry and doesn't take up much room in your pocket or purse. This is really important to me because I wear my Invisalign discreetly. It also looks far nicer than a conventional retainer case, which is less significant. The magnetic clasp is revolutionary. My original blue invisalign case had a button that I could press to open it, which I liked, but after time it wore out and started opening on its own. With this case, I don't have to worry about my invisalign accidentally exiting my bag. I'm not sure how, but the substance inside of this case also hastens the drying of water. When I reopen it, there is hardly any water there; in contrast, previous cases had a few little pools of water. Although it may seem expensive given that you generally receive a new case from an orthodontic/dental practice for free, this is absolutely worth the money.

The Orthokey lives up to expectations. I was about to give up when I received my first pair of aligners. I just was unable to remove my upper tray. During my initial effort, I bruised the side of my index finger and fractured three nails. I did some study because I wasn't sure how I could accomplish this for the upcoming year. This came two days later and lessened the trauma of my first Invisalign encounter! You might not require this if you have strong nails, but I still use my Orthokey to remove my top tray. Very worthwhile!

I cracked my retainer case when I dropped it, therefore I urgently required a replacement before going on a trip. This one works well and has a lovely hue. It feels sturdy and fastens quite tightly. It has a VERY SMALL bit of airflow, so unless I'm traveling and packing it, I usually leave it open with the retainer inside so everything can dry out. It would be ideal if it had a little more airflow!

These were excellent! However, you should only use 1 at a time. Both the heavy duty and ordinary fit my top and bottom teeth. I'm extremely appreciative that even though I need braces due of my deep bite and overbite, they nonetheless flawlessly cover my teeth! Applying to the upper teeth prevented my lips from touching or completely closing in the middle, but it did not cause me to breathe through my mouth. I was able to completely close my mouth as usual by applying to the bottom teeth.When I'm sleeping, they don't come out! I have tried using mouth guards in the past without success since I grind or clench my teeth while I'm asleep. The height between the top/middle of the gums and the bottom of the teeth was less on all of them. I would wake up with it next to me because they would come out of my lips while I was asleep. In addition, I consumed a few inside a month. Thus, this is a godsend! Seriously, I'm overjoyed that it does.

I just received braces at the age of 46. Being accustomed to them and all of their "friends" during the first week has been quite the journey: the blisters in my inner cheek, the difficulty chewing food and rejecting specific items I used to consume, and especially the problem of maintaining healthy teeth and gums.These Platypus flossers have been of great assistance. The flossers, Oral-B Superfloss, G.U.M. Go Betweens Proxabrushes, ordinary floss to be used periodically with the threader from my orthodontist, and a 10X magnifying mirror were the results of extensive research I conducted on various orthodontic flossing devices. When I finally discovered out how to keep my teeth clean, I was able to breathe a sigh of relief and grin instead of crying while trying to floss my teeth. I've discovered that the following works the best:The Platypus flossers are excellent, simple to use, and the easiest to "feel" out of all the flossers. I can use them without having to look in the mirror, in other words. By feeling, I can quickly determine where to position the Platypus under the wire in the space between my brackets. However, when the brackets are positioned very closely together, these flossers DO NOT function. My bicuspids and cuspids are affected in this way. My orthodontist inserted brackets on two adjacent teeth (one on each side) that must move and rotate properly, so the Platypus flosser does not fit at all in between these teeth since the space between the brackets is too small. Not even under the arch wire will it fit!The Oral-B Superfloss is my ideal remedy in that situation. To floss, I simply need to thread its tiny, narrow, rigid end in between the tiniest of gaps (under the arch wire). Compared to the stiff threader my orthodontist gave me, it works even better. Without it, I couldn't floss every single thing.Both the Superfloss and these Platypus flossers perform nearly equally well on my premolars and molars. Once more, the back of my mouth, where the brackets are spread farther apart due to the increased size of the molars, is where the Platypus flossers function best. Back here, I also use the G-U-M Go Betweens since they are ideal for removing packed food from in and around my brackets.Finally, the stand-up 10X magnification mirror is the second essential component of my flossing practice. My jaw is so small that before I got it from Amazon, I couldn't see in the far back of my mouth where I needed to floss. I couldn't floss with a mirror in my hand since I needed both hands to separate my lips and cheek from the flossing area.With all of these instruments, I can floss right now more quickly and effortlessly! I hope this relieves the frustration of all those people who, like myself, have trouble flossing because of their very packed teeth and newly installed braces. If you have the appropriate tools, it isn't. Keep searching until you find the ideal solution for you.

It dawns on you when you're an adult in your early 30s wearing braces for the first time how quickly flossing stinks! This wax is incredible. Three days after receiving my aligners from Smile Direct Club, my mouth was in excruciating discomfort. I attempted to file the aligners, but it was unsuccessful. My bottom set had cut a large hole in the side of my mouth, so I had to remove it. This wax, which I used as a last resort before giving up completely, is incredible. I've only applied this on the areas of my aligners that irritate me, and I feel no pain. The wound that was made in my mouth has vanished after one day. No one has even noticed that I probably use too much wax, despite the fact that I believe my mouth bulges from it. Even after I bring it out to others, they fail to notice. Every time I remove my aligners to eat, I have to reapply the wax, but it's so simple to put them back on that I don't mind. I bought the platypack that came with a toothbrush and floss. That was excellent, so I bought this flosser package. I discovered that I had received fakes after I began utilizing these. Due to the floss string sticking out the outside side, which prevents the flosser from fitting between the tooth and the wire of the braces, the flosser head is not thin. Therefore, these knockoffs are essentially ineffective and, if forced, even harmful. See the photographs in the attachment; the red arrow denotes the hump that protrudes from the "spatula" end and prevents these flossers from sliding under the wire of the braces, thereby undermining their intended function. I'm not sure whether to give this review (for the product) five stars or one star considering the other reviews (for all the counterfeits on amazon).A letter warning about fakes in lot PA 0518, which is the marking on the fakes I received, was attached by another reviewer. I advise you to examine your order as soon as you receive it. I could also advise notifying the manufacturer, via their website at platypusco.com, if you received counterfeit goods, so that they can investigate and address the issue.The flossers used by actual platypus are amazing. But regrettably, Amazon doesn't seem to be an entirely trustworthy seller.
