Despite the delivery date stating a week later, I received this thing within a few days of placing the transaction. The installation process was the finest part; packaging was adequate. I don't handle installation at home, but I gave it a go and it went smoothly. The positioning of the screw at step #2 in the owner's manual (page 1) should have been better explained; aside from that, it went smoothly.It brought back memories of "spinning" (where you press or pull a knob "manually" - just how it used to be in fans in India in the 1990s;) but I won't complain. There is very little noise. The timer was cleverly designed to go up to 7 hours in step functions of 30 minutes. Through the remote, you may turn the device on, change the speed, and set a timer. You only need to approach the rotating component; I don't have any complaints. Even if they have more bells and whistles of 20 speed and may even rotate by remote, I believe that other Pelonis fans that cost more than $90 provide the same amount of air and noise. Therefore, in my opinion, the price I paid is 5 stars. Having said that, I'll keep an eye on things this summer and provide more updates.

well-built, dependable, and quiet. Unexpectedly weighty, which is a great touch, is the base (no chance of tipping over). I purchased this to replace an earlier Honeywell that I had been using pretty much every night since 2006 and was of a comparable make and feature set. So not a horrible run, that motor finally gave up. If it matters to you, this model is noticeably quieter on the lowest setting. Additionally, it has two blue led lights on the front display, but I haven't observed that they significantly brighten the space (just slightly more than a little clock radio, I'd say).The height when fully extended is 47 inches. Although it includes a remote, it can also be controlled from the base. Despite not using either, it has tilt and oscillation. has timers for 1, 2, 4, and 8 hours of sleep. There are three flow modes and three speed options (variable, breeze, and constant). For its size, it moves a lot of air on low, which is what I usually use. The pole (polished aluminum), fan shaft, and motor are made of lightweight coated (painted) metal, as is the grill. The rest is made of plastic. A safety fuse is placed inside the plug.If this fan didn't last at least as long as my previous Honeywell fan, I would be amazed. Hope this evaluation was helpful.

The air circulators that are sold are made by Vornado. I recently purchased my fifth one from Amazon. I recently purchased a Honeywell HT-900 TurboForce Air Circulator Fan, Black, in order to defraud Vornado. This was a terrible error. It would be a stretch to refer to the Honeywell HT-900 as an air circulator. It's not an air circulator; it's just a meager fan. I returned the Honeywell product since I didn't like it and bought this Vornado in its place. Vornado is the greatest air circulator on the market if you want one.Recently, I had visitors who planned to stay in a spare bedroom. I'll limit this review to the main things that I believe most people will find interesting:There are 12 settings for fine air-flow adjustment, and they are more useful than expected. At the highest level, the fan noise is definitely noticeable, but considerably quieter than typical considering the high airflow. Assembly could have been easier, but it's a one-time effort and didn't take too long. It's important to consider the sort of noise because some can be grating. Since the wind is the main sound, it's actually rather pleasant. Perfectly suitable for usage in bedrooms. Electric oscillation function is a little too quick and wide, but it works. Although a little expensive, it seems to be well made, strong, etc. the bigger 18 "Lasko produces more air, but it is also a lot louder. The remote does not come with batteries, but it is IR, controls everything, and functions great.It gets a robust 16 overall "pedestal fan with remote control, LED panel, digital controls, extremely fine speed adjustment, and quiet operation. Although you'll pay more than the inexpensive fan at your neighborhood big-box store, you do get what you pay for.

It's natural to wonder if the additional cost is justified when it costs twice as much as other suitable floor-standing fans. In my view, yes. In comparison to other 16-inch non-commercial models, it is generally more substantial. These fans' top-heavy traits are easily offset by their wide, heavy base. The adjustable support is lightweight without being flimsy, and it is simple to use. It's really brilliant how the unusual angle makes it simple to access the control buttons and makes it simple to use. Although I don't use the remote, I can see how it might be very useful for some people. It's a nice touch that it stores on the fan itself. The manufacturer's blah blah on the fan's Amazon page is largely accurate; it is quieter than anticipated, moves large volumes of air with ease, and has a high-end appearance.So what is the drawback? The grill rusts, according to some purchasers. Despite the fact that I've only had mine for about a month, I can't see anything that would make it corrode-prone. Only the cost remains; is it reasonable? There are less expensive options that are probably sufficient. The fan it replaced was significantly less expensive, but it lasted at least ten years. Purchased this because of the reviews and my desire to save money.This fan is fantastic! It's quiet, has lots of features, including a timer, adjustable speed, a neck, and a remote!!!The base is a GREAT size, and it is neither too heavy nor too light.We use it to circulate the warmth from the wood fire throughout the house.We have a dog who suffers from seizures, and before I could reach the fan, our 110-pound Rhodesian Ridgeback, who has a strength of 10, slammed into it while having a seizure, knocking it into the stove and onto the hard mantel. Of course, our focus was on our dog, not the fan.The fan was on and no longer running by the time we were able to gather our thoughts. The neck of the fan was in such a bent position that I initially believed it was broken.Well, the additional insurance won't be able to replace THAT, I told myself.Nothing was broken when my husband picked it up, unplugged it, restored its normal appearance, plugged it back in, and it immediately began to operate! OH NO, it happened yet again. SAME!!! results and after two weeks, it's still operating flawlessly!I would therefore say that we HIGHLY RECOMMEND this fan!

Because I purchased this fan for my bedroom, I place a high value on noise level. That is something that this fan excels at, especially in the lower speed range. This is not the fan for you if you want one that can move a lot of air. This fan is far less powerful than you'd anticipate, even at its maximum speed.Only two things annoy me. First, even if you haven't unplugged the fan, the speed is not remembered once you switch it off with the remote. You have to slow it down after it starts up since that is how it always is. Second, the decrease in speed between speeds 9 and 8 is significant. Since there is exactly where I would like to add another step or two, it is somewhat annoying.Beyond that, it completes my request. It moves enough air to allow me to keep the air conditioning on a few degrees higher than I could manage without it, and it is silent with no whining, buzzing, or rattling.

Air flow has always been an issue in the bedroom of our little log cottage. I placed a ceiling fan in what I refer to as the "front room" to handle that problem. I contemplated purchasing a modest a/c unit because Vermont's summertime temperatures have been rising in recent years. I regarded that as a waste of both money and electrical energy. Due to my sight impairment, I refrained from asking a neighbor for help. The directions were easy to understand and straightforward, and the font was enough dark for me to read. I quickly had this little fan put together and "humming."I wanted one with directional air flow but little to no noise because I have trouble falling asleep. This one beyond my expectations, and if wished, one may leave it in stationary. There are also 3 different speeds available for the fan. There is no difference in noise level between slow, medium, and fast speeds.Everything seems to be going well, but as soon as it came, the nighttime temperature dropped to the upper 40s rather than the mid 70s. Despite living in an extremely hot region, I had never purchased a fan for some bizarre reason. The heat wave this year altered that! I really didn't want to spend money on a high duty fan because I wasn't sure if I would utilize it. This one is not only affordable and lightweight, but it also works well! There was some assembly required, and the instructions are ridiculous! But fortunately, it was really easy, and soon I was unwinding! I like that it can be adjusted to different heights and angles, and of course, it is a floor fan as claimed. Moving from one room to another is REALLY simple, which was crucial for me. Although it's not as noisy as older fans, I'm aware that there are also quieter models available. Once more, this is excellent value.

I was a little worried after reading some of the other reviews that claimed the fan was noisy, that the remote had to be close by, that it didn't provide enough air, that it was poorly manufactured, etc. Despite all of that, I still placed an order for one. The only thing that makes me unhappy is that I didn't order the two that I had planned to. The fan is highly portable. Yes, it is plastic, but modern fans are typically made of plastic. Even if the control doesn't come with batteries, the savings this fan offers make up for it. I use it from across the room, about 15 feet away, and the low setting allows me to feel the airflow. The majority of my 85 degree days are about perfect for the Med setting. From this distance, the remote operates without any issues for me at all. I haven't heard any differences in noise between this fan and any other I have ever bought in terms of volume. As stated in several other reviews, the fan does not beep while turning on or off. This fan has exceeded my expectations, and I will be buying the other one I had planned to buy.
