In the midst of the summer, I set these around a softball field to block the son and used them to hang down pop-up tents. I was quite concerned that the tents might fly away because I was not permitted to stake them onto the ground.I discovered these weight packs while I searched online. They performed flawlessly. About six of my tents were all sagging under the weight of the bags. I have four of these, and after a few test runs in strong winds at home, I was prepared to set them up at the fair. The top should be attached after the side panels, the frame should be fully opened, and then the frame should be extended to its full height. As a hint, attach all the side panels before the frame is entirely opened. In less than five minutes, I was set up. It is incredibly durable, simple to assemble (I can even do it by myself when necessary), and includes extras like side panels, a heavy-duty wheeled suitcase, and weight bags, making it a fantastic value. We recently had a Quest 10 x 10 Canopy that actually broke in the middle of use when we were opening it because the frame metal bent and snapped.We use the canopy tent on the beach to avoid the sun, and we actually keep it lowered to the first position for the most privacy and shade. It's crucial to remember that this ABC canopy offers 100 sq ft of shade regardless of the height you elevate the frame to. This is critical because many other 10 x 10 tents, like our previous Quest tent, only provide 64 square feet of shaded space because, despite having a 10 x 10 frame base, the canopy is not 10 x 10 inches in size and the slant leg design limits the amount of space available.The frame itself is quite strong and well-built. We appreciate how easy it is to open this frame thanks to the big press buttons. With only the two of us, it took us only five minutes to set up and secure this tent. The sand bag weights are a fantastic addition because they can be transported empty and weightless while still holding about 20 pounds of sand apiece. In contrast to the sand bag weights that come with the canopy, we had to carry around large, hefty weights with our old tent that cost an additional $40. There are numerous options to secure the tent because it also includes pegs and tie downs.The canopy's material is sturdy and quite thick. Both the fabric and the stitching are tenacious. So.... Being quite honest, I only ordered this because it was through Amazon and was VERY SKeptical about it (at least I could call them if something went wrong). I really wanted a high quality tent, and this one SEEMED to have fit the bill plus they have walls....yes - walls for a tent - Duh... no brainer', but I digress. Spending almost $300 for a freaking tent is also, well... STUPID considering you can get a similar tent from your local Big box store for nearly half the money. I did the best I could to research this ABC Canopy company online before clicking the "Place Order" button. I discovered that they have NO US Support (it's a Chinese company), NO Customer Service number to call, and that their distribution warehouse appears to be in California but had a bad phone number when I called it. In addition, you can read remarks from other customers on the ABC Canopy Facebook page who were, shall we say, disheartened that no one was responding to their emails. However, I persisted. My morbid curiosity was on high alert, and once more, the only reason I even considered placing the order was because I could do so through Amazon. I had my expectations so low that, seriously, if they had sent me a package full of dung beetles, I would have been thrilled! But once more, I digress. Now that I've undoubtedly annoyed or lost the "Review Readers" by not answering your question, I'll move on to what you all actually want to know. I'll start by stating that this canopy is fantastic. There isn't a better canopy available for the price, in my opinion. Look elsewhere if you require something that is incredibly light and not very durable. Get this canopy if you want something that is genuinely made to last and has a real steel frame.With an average use rate of three days per week, I've done festivals, trade events, and outdoor markets of all kinds for the better part of a year under this umbrella. Because of how severely their canopies restrict them, I frequently feel awful for the many other canopy users. The foundation of your setup is your canopy, which holds up your banners, windwalls, lights, and anything else you could require while fending off the elements. If you use lightweight aluminum for your foundation, you haven't taken into account all the other variables in addition to Murphy's Law. Everyone should purchase this canopy, unless they are obliged to do so by a festival ordinance (this is extremely uncommon, but it has happened; in my opinion, this SHOULD be the tent necessary in those instances). Large banners and signs connected to this frame will endure strong winds. Each leg accommodates two suitable stakes, and the wide base feet are perfect for use with weight bags.I have no issue at all putting this together by myself or taking it down by myself. I've probably done it 150 or so times. The secret is to position one corner where you want it, then grab, lift, and stretch the other corner into position. Once it has mostly extended, drag it upward until it clicks into position, then click the remaining corners into place. After that, you just lift each leg individually. I genuinely don't understand those who claim that this configuration is challenging "even for two people." It's incredibly simple for one individual. Perhaps employing more than one person makes setup unnecessary more difficult? In any event, you follow the same procedure in reverse while taking it down. Lower all four legs first. The corner buttons can then be released. Take hold of any leg, lift it, and move it in the direction of the other leg. The tent will simply collapse. After that, apply the bag to the tent by swiveling it behind your back and slipping it over the top of your head. In this way, the bag is successfully guided over the tent so that it can easily drop down onto the bag. When I move at a normal rate, the entire take down or setup process takes me no more than three minutes.They also uphold the warranty provided by the manufacturer. I spend most of my time at work in Florida, close to the gulf, where occasionally there are unforeseen, extremely severe wind gusts. The frame ultimately buckled somewhat and could not fold up completely after six months of use in the roughest conditions and frequent setups and breakdowns. This was a challenge because it would not fit in the luggage or in our travel storage space. They supplied a replacement along with a refund and upheld the one-year warranty. I nearly felt horrible since I could see that every effort had been made to make this design both economical and sturdy, and if I can help it, I prefer not to take advantage of warranties in those situations. However, they made no fuss at all.Having said that, be aware that this canopy comes with two, seemingly similar carrying bags. My original canopy came with an exceptionally sturdy bag that matched the one seen in the listing photographs exactly. The bag I got with my second canopy was a total farce. It had a perfect replica of the original look, however it was made very cheaply and was probably only half as thick. Within a fortnight, it was destroyed. I'm not making this up. The first bag held up for six months and was still in remarkably good shape; the second, however, barely survived for two weeks. I was aware of the new bag's poor quality as soon as I got it, but it wasn't until I had a chance to use it that I fully appreciated how horrible it was.Therefore, if you read reviews where some people rave about the quality of the bag while others criticize the identical bag for being subpar, know that there are actually two versions of the bag. The one you get seems to be completely determined by chance. I've been trying to find a way to get the high-quality version, but the bag's listing on Amazon seems to have the same issue: the seller "#1 Instant Shelter" distributes one version or the other at random, and most consumers are unaware of this. Shame on them for not being open and honest about this.

I just mentioned San along with these. I purchased them from Home Depot, so after I put them to the test in the field—where I'll be using them to secure a few banners and flags as well as a canopy I use for my marketing—we'll see how they hold up. I'll update my review to ensure that nothing is damaged, ripped, or separated. The velcro doesn't provide a continuous seal, so some sand could escape if they fall down in the car. I'll be updating this as I work with them. I did discover that when I seal the velcro at the top, some sand might leak out.

These offer excellent value. So that they would shut and be able to be folded down when in place, I filled them with 1-2" pond rocks up to perhaps 4" from the top. The handle is sewed in such a way that the bags can be raised while containing weight and remain shut. Each of mine weighs around 20 pounds when filled in this manner.I need to make a comment on the business that sold these to me when I purchased them (Eurmax). I found one of the four bags to be improperly sewed, which was an issue. It was still functional; however, the closure wasn't secure, and the handle's construction meant that when the bag was raised with weight, the handle would pull the bag open. Using the link provided by Amazon, I sent Eurmax an explanation of the situation. Eurmax answered right away and courteously. They asked for a picture, which I gave them. Then they quickly overnighted a replacement bag. Actually, there was a whole set of them, which was way more than I needed or wanted. They undoubtedly spend more on me than I did, therefore I wanted to acknowledge them. This business is excellent.
