The Chapin I purchased four years ago is still in use, with the odd vinegar or CLR tip cleaning. Although it's never exactly as "misty" as I'd like, it works well to spray weeds, and considering the cost, I can't really complain. These home sprayers typically have a weak point in the wand and tips, so I looked into obtaining new ones, but the price was higher than the cost of the entire tank.The fact that I leave chemicals in there for a long time is probably not helpful. In one instance, I kept a liquid in it for so long that I lost track of whether it was weed killer or insecticide and used it to treat an area that required both. I then made the decision to identify them and purchase a second special sprayer. To be honest, I didn't think it would be easier to do this than to clear them out after each usage.Given the stress it endures, the lock and release motion of the pump mechanism for carrying is smoother and easier than with others I've tried.The Smith cost twice as much and has a little longer wand. It feels stronger and sprays more mistily, although those qualities could alter. Although the Chapin's twist and lock operation is more fluid, other from that, they are fairly comparable.

These spray bottles are terrible, period 2! They all leak horribly right out of the box; not one bottle or spray head is leakproof as claimed. I was so furious after reading all the fake reviews and receiving them to find out that they were all useless! You will be really disappointed if you purchase them. You have been forewarned about junk triggers, junk washers, and leaky low-quality spray bottles!Okay, updated: the vendor got in touch with me and requested that I test out more spray bottles in the hopes that my opinion of their goods will shift. Well, three of the four replacement bottles that were provided are largely leak-proof, but one continues to leak from the plunger and top of the collar. It should also be noted that the upgraded spray heads on the new bottles I received included some additional improvements that, in my opinion, prevent the trigger from popping off. Kudos! In conclusion, I think it's important to give credit where credit is due. decent bottles after the March 2019 revisions. I increased it from 3 stars to 4 stars because the business cares so much about its consumers!

The issue will be understood by anyone who has ever sprayed liquid herbicide (or any chemical) over a big area of ground. It can be challenging to recall precisely where you sprayed and didn't spray. You wind up with either significant gaps, areas that have been sprayed repeatedly, or both. This item is very beneficial.The Positive Stuff* The blue is visible even on green grass once you get used to seeing it. Although you can see the blue even on grass, it helps a lot if there are areas of bare ground, dandelions, or other blossoming weeds. Wearing sunglasses with polarization greatly assisted me.* I blended it as directed on the label. Perhaps next time, a bit more would have sped up the process.* The cleanup went better than I anticipated. The instructions call for bleach, but I was able to remove the blue color by simply adding a little additional plain water to my backpack sprayer. The clear tubing lines on the sprayer may have a very tiny blue tint, but it adds a touch of elegance.The Not So Great Stuff* A box of surgical gloves should actually be included with this material. The instructions claim that frequent washings will remove the dye from the skin, but I believe they really mean that as the skin ages, the dye deteriorates along with it. And good luck if you manage to get it under your fingernails.* I didn't like the bottle. The liquid dribbles down the side of the bottle since the pour wasn't particularly clean. creates a major mess. Even if it cost a few cents more, a squeeze bottle or other type of pump would have been useful.In conclusion,The product ultimately delivered on its promises. It may have been improved in a few areas, but overall it was a good solution that probably saved money on double spraying. Yellow or orange would have been much more appealing to me, but I believe the blue dye was the simplest to use. Don't even bother if you are colorblind to blues and greens.

Excellent garden sprayer. Although some assembly is necessary, it is simple and may be done by hand. I use this for a variety of tasks around the yard, including spraying pesticides, fertilizer, and cleaner on the fence. It is crafted with quality materials and has held up nicely.In order to avoid having to manually pump the air out of the tires, I threaded a hole in the side and inserted a tire valve. All I have to do is use my air compressor to inflate it.

I bought these bottles a while back. Using one, mist distilled water until it is completely covered in a mixture of orange oil, white vinegar, and a tablespoon of Dawn. The other container is used for a potent grease cutter that I make by combining distilled water and a concentration 1 to 1. The two bottles have both worked flawlessly. zero leaks I've come to appreciate the size because they don't take up a lot of room and if I need to modify a mixture, it's simple to locate a holding container for what is in the bottle, mix a customized brew for specific tasks, rinse, and refill. If there is a drawback, it is that when the product level drops, the machine becomes top heavy and threatens to topple over. For that, I docked a star, but in all honesty, it's not a big problem. They appeal to me a lot.

Great results. However, I recommend that you remove the brass reducer nozzle from the top and insert the hose inside the tube so you never lose it. Keep in mind that this is measuring in teaspoons, so set this to #2 for 1 ounce per gallon, #4 for 2 ounces per gallon, etc. Set it to #6 for 1 ounce per gallon since doing so converts the flow rate to teaspoons. Put the nozzle inside the screw-on container if you need a greater mix, and when you're done, put it back in the tube. Additionally, the stream will project farther than most garden sprayer nozzles if the deflector is removed.Get a long pipe or piece of PVC and tape it to the end if you are trying to spray something higher up and this won't reach. Making a 10 or 15-foot piece of hose to go with the PVC allows you to add a ball valve at the bottom to control the flow as well. These are excellent and I use them professionally.

The mister would not spray the first time I filled it with water. The tube was square-cut on the end when I took the trigger and tube out of the gun. After cutting the tube's end off at an angle with kitchen shears ten seconds later, water could now be drawn up the tube. I like the bottle's size, shape, and trigger, and the mist looks ideal for my plants. After I have a chance to utilize it more, I might update this.
