DSi chargers are not compatible with 3DS. 3DS chargers are not compatible with DSi.
The Nintendo DS Lite is powered by an AC adapter that outputs 4.6 watts. The 3DS comes with a slightly more powerful AC adapter that outputs 5.2 watts. Both adapters have the same plug, so it can fit into the other console, but the 3DS adapter will not work with the DS Lite. The 3DS needs the extra power to charge the battery, so using the 3DS adapter on the DS Lite will not work and could potentially damage the console.
No, not all DS games work on the DS Lite. The DS Lite is not backward compatible with Game Boy Advance games.
No, all DS do not use the same charger. Each DS has its own specific charger that is required in order to charge the device.

This accomplishes the same tasks as the original, and perhaps it will last just as long! The kids are getting older, but their old DS was only broken on the charger, so it's now fixed and ready for whenever they have free time! I detest seeing things lying around unused for such a small reason!

This Nintendo DS Lite Charger is authentic. It did arrive in different packaging, and there was a statement from Amazon indicating that they were trying to reduce their environmental effect and were using less material as a result. I couldn't give a damn about the packing as I won't be keeping it. The charger itself is authentic, appropriately sized for my DS Lite, and charges it flawlessly.I somehow misplaced my original charger, but this one arrived promptly, so I just had to stop playing my Pokemon game for a few days =P

In order to tide me over until my fiancé could afford to get me a DS lite for Christmas, I received a gameboy SP. Sadly, he misplaced the charger! The finest aspect is that it will work for a DS too, so it's worth keeping. I bought this as a cheap replacement so I could use the SP for a few weeks as I waited for Christmas. You save over $10 by not purchasing this in a game store, and it works flawlessly and charges your SP in only a few hours, so plug it in before bed and you're good to go! The delivery cost more than the product itself, but you're still in the clear.Amazing offer!

The charger's charging or size are both flawless. The fact that it is a plug and nothing more is the only drawback. In order to charge my console, I would therefore need to locate an outlet, and nowadays, practically everything has a USB connector.

It functions incredibly well thus far. It appears that the interior of the charger is extremely identical to the actual 3DS charger because it charges the device just as quickly. Since the Nintendo logo oval but not the real logo are visible, it is clear that the mould is identical to the one used for the 3DS. This charger is also noticeably lighter than the genuine charger, but I have a hunch that Nintendo weighs its chargers to give them a more substantial appearance. Even if it hasn't yet damaged my DS, I'm still giving it four stars because it feels shoddy and imitation-like.

I found this after our annual Fourth of July family gathering, where one of the grandchildren left it. It was more affordable to buy this and have it delivered directly to her when I calculated the cost of mailing it to her. I was a little concerned that it was a generic version, but now that she has it, she raves about how well it works. She can pick up the previous one when she returns the next year.
The Game Boy Advance (GBA) is a 32-bit handheld video game console developed, manufactured and marketed by Nintendo as the successor to the Game Boy Color. It was released in Japan on March 21, 2001, in North America on June 11, 2001, in Australia and Europe on June 22, 2001, and in the Philippines on July 19, 2001. Despite the similar name and appearance, the GBA is not directly backward compatible with the Game Boy or Game Boy Color; however, it is backward compatible with the Game Boy Advance link cable, which allows players to connect to and
The Nintendo DS Lite is a handheld video game console that was released in 2006. It is a redesigned version of the original Nintendo DS, and features a smaller form factor and improved battery life. The DS Lite uses two AA batteries, which are included with the console.
The DS and DS Lite both use the same charger, which is a big plus. It means that you don't need to buy a new charger when you upgrade from one system to the other.
The DS Lite and the GBA SP use different chargers. The DS Lite uses a AC adapter that plugs into the wall, while the GBA SP uses a AA battery pack.
To check the battery life on your DS, simply press and hold the power button for one second. The LED will blink red to indicate the battery is low, and will blink green when the battery is fully charged.
To charge a Nintendo DS, you will need to connect the AC adapter to the charging cradle and then plug it into an outlet. The charging light on the front of the cradle will turn red, indicating that it is charging. It will take approximately 3 hours to fully charge the system.
