My toe nails and two fingernails have nail fungus, and I've had it for years. I used tea tree oil for a year and it didn't help either, neither did lamisil. I committed the age-old sin of wearing toenail polish 24/7 for WAY too long, and sure enough, I developed a painful and unsightly fungal infection. I'll say right up that, up until recently—I'm a retired nurse with over 30 years of community service—I've never experienced a nail fungal infection.
