Every few months when our daughter's teething problems start to interfere with her sleep, we've been turning to the children's motrin. We began using it when she was 6 months old, and she is currently 10 months old and 20 pounds. I would rather not take any medication at all, but the few times she has required it, this has saved her life. Because it seems to function better, we like it a little bit above acetaminophen. We always verify the dosage and are VERY careful. We have a helpful chart from our pediatrician that we keep on the refrigerator that shows the appropriate dosage based on the baby's weight. Parents, please be aware that dosage varies greatly depending on brand and formulation; always double check, especially if your baby is fussing and you're weary.Furthermore, keep in mind that prices can change, just like with other Amazon products. I paid $2.83 for this as a "add on item" on May 28, 2017, however the cost has since doubled.

Why I prefer Advil over a generic tablet is a mystery to me considering that the active ingredient in Advil is just regular ol' ibuprofen. Though I do. Sigh. If you didn't know, the primary component of Advil, ibuprofen, is an NSAID (non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug). Aspirin used to be the go-to medication. Although it was reliable, high doses or frequent use could result in stomach ulcers, deafness, or a condition in teenagers. Then, a plethora of additional formulations emerged that were safer than aspirin but were still not flawless because nothing is. Ibuprofen can exacerbate asthma, induce heartburn and rash, raise the risk of liver, heart, and renal failure, and be dangerous in late pregnancy. However, it is really classified on the World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines since it is safer than other NSAIDs. Before taking Advil, speak with your doctor if you have any questions. Both my dentist and doctor agree that I should take some Advil for any ache, pain, or irritation. This time, I ordered a quantity that should last because I became weary of paying extra for a small container containing 10 or 20 tablets.

I experience everyday chronic discomfort. I use Advil Liqui-Gels rather than taking prescription medication every day (although I do need to occasionally). for me, a huge blessing. I'm required to take four every day. Well, three at times. I therefore thoroughly review these. I have a lot of them but am running low. And in my emergency supply kit, I have a ton of them. I use Subscribe and Save to get Advil to save money each month. This frequently reduces back pain I experience from, say, a pain level of an 8 down to approximately a 3. (tolerable). I'm in way too much pain to ever claim to be at a 1 or 0, but hey, if it's bearable enough that I can turn over in bed without feeling like I'm about to die, then it's worth it! I'll be checking other websites for price reductions because I do wish the price was a little bit lower, but what about the product itself? Awesome.
