If you're pregnant and wearing tight pants, you may be wondering if it's harmful to the baby. The good news is that it's unlikely to cause any harm. However, it is important to be comfortable and to avoid any clothing that is constricting or uncomfortable. If you're concerned about tight pants, talk to your doctor or midwife.
Pregnancy is a special time when your body is going through many changes. You may be wondering if you can continue to wear your regular panties during pregnancy. The answer is yes! There is no need to buy special maternity underwear. However, you may want to consider a few things when choosing which panties to wear during pregnancy. First, consider the style of panty. Some women prefer thong panties during pregnancy, while others find them to be uncomfortable. If you usually wear thong panties, there is no reason to stop during pregnancy. However, if you are not used to
At nine weeks pregnant, you may start to feel kicks from your baby. These are called quickening. You may also feel other movement, such as your baby hiccupping.
After giving birth, you will bleed for about six to eight weeks. This is called lochia and is similar to a heavy period. Lochia usually starts out red and heavy, then gets lighter and turns brownish.

Hello, I'm a real person and I tried these underwear on over a pair of ponte knit pregnant trousers (the rear picture of the pants has some bumping in the back because the pants have rear pockets). I am 23 weeks pregnant and 5'10" 189 pounds, and I am currently wearing maternity trousers in size large/12. These underbump briefs in size XL are mine. They are VERY low at the front, as you can see in the picture. that's what I desired. The back is pretty completely covered. They are well-stitched and silky. I am ecstatic about my purchase! I'm hoping they wash well because I always dry my clothes on low heat and wash underwear in hot water for hygienic reasons. Let's face it, I hardly ever line dry underwear as a pregnant full-time worker with a five-year-old. Hence, I'm crossing my fingers! Excellent value at $20 for 5 high-quality panties.

I am 4'11" and pre-pregnancy weight was 112 pounds. I was able to get away for a while with some high waist medium size (I usually wear small size) pants and under the bump pants. By 29 weeks, I had reached the point when all of them were too uncomfortable and kept slipping down. I feared these might be too large. I still weigh under 130 lbs. They unexpectedly fit perfectly and do a great job of supporting my tummy. I never even anticipated that. Considering my petite size, it's hardly surprising that they extend all the way under my breasts. I've just ordered a pack of three more because, other from that, they are ideal for me at this point in my pregnancy. All of my other underwear will need to be retired because they are no longer comfy for me. The content is also rather decent. Although they initially feel synthetic to my cotton-accustomed hands, they are airy and outperform cotton even after a long day at preventing moisture buildup and odor.

According to the instructions, if you wore size S before becoming pregnant, you should purchase size M. I did, and they're enormous! Even after washing, there was no shrinking of my size 26 jeans. It might be really frustrating to always have to adjust your underwear when wearing tights or leggings.Other than that, they are comfortable, don't cause you to perspire excessively, and the quality has so far held up.Black is the nicest color and fit; I wish they had a set like that.UPDATE: I believe they grew much more elongated! Where the back joins the bottom is exactly where!:(If you were a solid S before and you're looking to buy, definitely go smaller.I deducted another rating for the fit, but the stitches are still secure and haven't started washing out yet.NEWS UPDATEThe vendor sent me S and was gracious. I really enjoy how snug and comfortable these are. Even after gaining 30 pounds (my hips are significantly broader), I was a solid S before, and I'm pleased with how S fit now. I also believe that if you're Small, you should get Small.

These are fantastic! It's great that there were two of it. Perfect for wearing dresses in the summer. I was worried they wouldn't fit because my hips and thighs are bigger than average. The majority of underwear either cuts me or makes my legs seem odd. Not these though, they have the ideal stretch and offer my tummy the ideal support and form. I bought the large size since it was the next best option because I am 5 months pregnant and 230 pounds; I'm pleased I did because the xlarge was sold out and I believed a larger size would work better for my thicker legs. They are easy to wear all day long. I haven't seen any rolling or scrunching to date.

I purchased a set of THINX (hiphuggers) in 2016 for about $30 each pair, however they started to fall apart after a year. When I contacted THINX to let them know that my set had broken, they offered to replace it. One year later, they broke up once more. Sigh.I've been getting by with my worn-out THINX, but I really needed to replace them, so last week I started looking at other period underwear brands. I *almost* bought Lunapads, but I couldn't justify spending about $40 each pair at the moment.I discovered Bambody OMG after doing some internet research, and now I'm addicted. They are very breathable (which should mean no more of those odd THINX odors), are SO much softer and more comfy than THINX, and can we just say... finally within reach of the typical person on a period? The sizing chart seemed to be somewhat generous to me. I should be a M according to the advice, but I ordered S, and they fit perfectly. They are snug when I first put them on but loosen up throughout the day; for reference, I'm 5'3" and 135 lbs and carry *all* of my weight in my hips/butt. [Update: they were still feeling too snug around the leg holes so I chatted with the seller and they offered to send me a pack of mediums. I haven't received them but I'll update when I do.] I genuinely love these and would replace my regular underwear collection with BI certainly want to get another set so I can complete a cycle without having to wash and dry my clothes over night.

To prevent my thighs from rubbing against one another under dresses this summer, I bought this.Just wish I had purchased it earlier! It accomplishes its function admirably and is comfy. When I was 16 to 18 before becoming pregnant, I bought the Large. Although it fits, I had to pull it up quite high to keep it from becoming unpleasant against my growing tummy. It does get hot while wearing it (however I don't like tight things over my tummy right now, so it's probably just a matter of preference). Even wearing this underneath a thin sundress makes you feel hot despite the fact that pregnancy already makes you warm. It causes me to get hot and uncomfortable if I wear it for a lengthy period of time.Despite the drawbacks, it does assist highlight my stomach, making it rounder and smoother, as well as smoothing out the love handles and thighs. This is something I would suggest to a woman seeking for pregnancy shapewear.

I bought a second set because I liked these so much. I was a little worried about the fit and size before making the purchase because I don't wear underwear with a shorts-like appearance. The size is accurate according to the size chart, but it might be on the small side (underwear slightly smaller than advertised). I fell somewhere in the middle of the Medium range based on how broad my hips and butt were. I like that the underwear is snug yet not too tight. However, if I were any bigger—say, on the upper end of the size spectrum—I might not feel as comfortable.I get weggies because the underwear does not fit like male shorts or briefs. Actually, the area around the leg is more like a broad, supple band. It feels similar to a bikini or a pair of regular briefs, but it doesn't press into your groin as my regular underwear was starting to do as I gain weight. The leg band is quite cozy.I first purchased this because of the waist band. It fits snugly beneath my hump. Additionally, it is flexible, giving me flexibility to move and room for my growing bump.really cozy pregnant underwear. I'm a content and happy expectant mother.

I scaled up one size, and I have no additional qualms about sizing. These maintain their position when you sit and don't slide down, and in my opinion, they aid in keeping those uncomfortable pregnant jeans up.Although they do give a pretty nasty underwear line in skirts and dresses, I do wish they had more of a no-show seam. At this stage of my pregnancy, I don't really care if I have panty lines; all I want is to be comfortable. After multiple washings, I've noticed that a few pairs have developed little holes, although I don't anticipate them to survive very long—maybe 5 months:)However, I need to track down some in BLACK! It's a bit difficult to wear these vibrant colors underneath most of my clothing.Overall, I'd buy more or do it again. These keep my pre-pregnancy underwear from rolling down to my knees every time I sat, saving me from having to repeatedly pull them up.

Postpartum update: Holy cow, these are incredible. They are the most comfortable items to wear after a C-section; I had my baby on 4/20/18 (it is currently 4/29/18). Since they are so comfortable on such a vulnerable spot, I will genuinely purchase more in the future.Incredible; these are original. I purchased these when I was approximately 36 weeks pregnant because I had a scheduled C-section and my old scarring still bothered me occasionally. I wear a US size 10 in underwear, and they are a little snug around my butt. It would be fantastic if they were a size larger. They feel almost like I'm not wearing any underwear at all because they are so soft and airy, which is fantastic. They are fantastic so far in every other regard, and I ordered two packs to rotate with.
After a c-section, you can expect to have some bleeding. This is called lochia and is a normal part of the healing process. Lochia usually lasts for 4-6 weeks. During this time, you will have heavy bleeding, similar to a period, for the first few days. The bleeding will then taper off to a lighter flow. You may also have some blood clots. These are usually small and nothing to worry about. If you have a lot of blood clots or heavy bleeding, please call your doctor.
A woman’s body is going through so many changes during pregnancy and after childbirth that it can be difficult to know how long to wear a diaper. Some women may feel the need to wear a diaper for the first few weeks postpartum, while others may only need them for the first few days. Ultimately, it is important to listen to your body and do what feels best for you. If you are unsure, speak to your doctor or midwife.
There's no one answer to this question - it depends on how often you want to wash them and how long you want them to last. A good rule of thumb is to have at least three pairs on rotation, so you always have a clean pair to wear.
A pregnancy is considered full-term at 40 weeks; infants delivered before the end of week 37 are considered premature, while those delivered after 42 weeks are considered postmature.9 weeks pregnant is about 2 months pregnant.
No, it is not too early to tell family. You may want to wait until you are sure of the pregnancy before telling anyone outside of your immediate family.
There is no right or wrong answer to this question. Some women feel more comfortable and supported wearing a bra during pregnancy, while others find them to be constricting and prefer to go without. If you are unsure, it is best to consult with your doctor or midwife to see what they recommend.
