ScotchBlue Original Multi-Surface Painter’s Tape,  1.88 inch x 60 yard, 1 Roll Review:

This tape is something I've bought several times to use on various wall/trim paint chores around our condo. Even after prolonged application, it does a remarkable job of adhering to surfaces firmly without any risk of harming them or peeling off when removed. The tape does a good job of enabling precise lines without worrying about paint seeping through the edges.I've used the tape on a variety of surfaces, including walls, wood trim, metal window frames, carpet, etc., and it has always done very well, withstanding heavy usage and wear throughout projects. I once made the error of choosing to use the somewhat less expensive internal Home Depot painter's tape, and I could not be more sorry for it. The tape was significantly less sticky than expected, and throughout virtually the whole job, it kept coming off the walls and floor. Since then, I have been a ScotchBlue customer!Without worrying about causing harm, this tape is also perfect for other sporadic tasks like labeling surfaces and things around the house. Additionally fantastic for storing and quickly pulling off bundles of various tools and components.

Scotch Painter's Tape 2060-1.5A Scotch Masking Tape for Hard-to-Stick Surfaces, 2060-36A, 1.41-Inch by 60-Yards, 1 Roll, Width, Green Review:

Because lacquer solvents wouldn't dissolve the adhesives, we referred to this as "lacquer tape" back in the 1970s. I use it on commercial exterior repaints because I live in Phoenix and I first used it years ago. There is no duct tape leftover. In the sweltering sun, it will remain in place for several minutes to hours. (I am aware that it is improper to spray paint on surfaces that are 200 degrees while the paint is steaming. What are you going to do, though? Abandon the position? Head home? VERY USEFUL, this tape. I've tried to work with a duct tape producer without success. before you can pull the gun out, falls off. The current best wager is this. on cultured stone, excellent. QUESTION? Why does the 1.5 cost less than 1? Additionally, Amazon offers significantly lower prices than any box or paint store. 3M Scotch 5952 VHB Tape: 1 in. x 15 ft. (Black) Review:

The initial purpose for which I purchased this was to attach a pocket amplifier to the foam insulation beneath my car's dash. You might imagine that that wouldn't work, but (foam in general, it appears is a lousy surface to attach anything to). But Velcro didn't either, so I won't deduct a star for it.Later, I did make use of it to fasten a plastic subwoofer control to my truck's vinyl/plastic dash trim. After that, it didn't move. So it's obvious that when things are right, they work great. Even though it's not cheap, the pricing is fair for what it is. It is simple to apply, cut, and use.I'd use it once more given the right circumstances. I would simply advise anyone thinking about acquiring it to carefully assess the application for which they may use it and whether or not it will function. Additionally, do you actually need 15 feet of this material? I still have almost the entire roll left over. lol.

Scotch Contractor Grade Masking Tape, 0.94 inch x 60.1 yard, 2020, 6 Rolls - 2020-24EVP Review:

We label items that travel to school with our children using masking tape that may be used for many different purposes. This tape is more likely to shred as you try to unwind it from the roll because it has a higher tack than the other masking tapes we've used. This mildly irritates me.It's high-quality tape that isn't too thin and noticeably stronger than budget ones. My intuition tells me that this product should be classified as heavy duty rather than general purpose, and it would be more convenient if it unwound a little more easily.

FrogTape 1358463 Multi-Surface Painting Tape, .94 Inches Wide x 60 Yards Long, Single Roll, Green Review:

RC modeling, one of my hobbies, frequently entails spray painting extra marks onto a model over its factory paint job. The paint used to decorate foam models has a well-deserved bad reputation for sticking to the model badly and coming off with almost any masking tape, including blue painter's tape that has been "de adhesived" by pressing a shirt against it (which then creates a problem getting a sharp edge). A polymer coating on the edges that gels when in contact with water-based paints is used to seal the edges. It must be kept in its packaging in order to safeguard its edge sealing capability. Only water-based (acrylic) paints, which I almost exclusively use, can seal the edges.Although I was dissatisfied with the "blue tape blues," the Frog Tape met my needs despite my skepticism about the "new, improved" masking tape at such a high price. The edge sealing technology it uses is a significant advancement over any tape I've previously used. Although it is superior to blue tape, Frog Tape Yellow offers the same edge sealing with less adherence for fragile surfaces like painted RC foam model surfaces.PROS Edge sealing with acryilic paints performs as promised.Works well as a tape for enamels and lacquers, but adds nothing to edge sealingAvailable in a yellow version with a "sensitive surface" that is excellent for RC models CONSQuite expensive when compared to other tapes, but well worth it when compared to the time it will save you to restore paint that other tapes ripped off.

Scotch Brand FBA_3436-3 Scotch(R) Home and Office Masking Tape 3436-3, 3/4-inch x 60 Yards, 3 Pack, 1-Pack, Tan, 3 Count Review:

I feel like I spend half my day as a preschool teacher retaping art pieces that fall off the wall. Seriously, the extremely costly tape that we purchase through school orders hardly sticks to itself. Even though it annoys me to have to buy my own tape in addition to everything else for my classroom, it is absolutely necessary for my sanity. In fact, not only does this tape hold projects to the wall, but it is so powerful that we have to take extra precautions to remove the projects from the wall without ripping them. The other teachers keep coming by to borrow my "good" tape, so I'll be getting more of it to give out as a "welcome back" gift at the start of the upcoming school year. It is more difficult to hold onto than a reliable pair of scissors =)

3pk 1" x 60yd STIKK Blue Painters Tape 14 Day Easy Removal Trim Edge Finishing Masking Tape (.94 in 24MM) (3 Pack) Review:

This is a fantastic bargain for painters tape when compared to the prices I've seen at hardware stores. Since I was painting a lot of my flat, I'm glad I purchased a three pack because it worked fantastically. One word of advice: do not install this tape a week before you intend to begin painting. Painter's tape is less sticky than other types of tape, thus it will likely come off after so much time.

Tape King Gaffers Tape Black (2-Pack) Professional Grade Premium Gaffer, 2 Inch X 30 Yards Per Roll Review:

I purchased this since it was such a wonderful value for a 2-pack, which is frequently tough to locate and for some strange reason is quite challenging to ship to Hawaii. The good news is that this one was reasonably priced and delivered to me in the 808 state. I deducted one star since the tape's stickiness isn't as strong until you peel out around 5 to 8 feet of it before it becomes sufficiently sticky. I felt like I wasted a lot of tape before I was able to achieve the necessary tackiness because the first few feet of this gaffers tape weren't at all tacky.

Lichamp Masking Tape 10 Pack General Purpose Beige White Color, 0.75 inch x 55 Yards x 10 Rolls (550 Total Yards), for Painting, Home, Office, School Stationery, Arts, Crafts etc. (3004) Review:

I've only ever used tapes made by 3M, but this one is really excellent. But after using this type, I discovered that it is equally as effective as 3M but less expensive. If you don't have any tools around, you can easily cut a portion of it off with your nails because, unlike most other tapes, it has excellent adherence and is simple to remove. Additionally, there is a ton of tape, which makes it, in my opinion, incredibly practical for the upcoming Christmas season.
