I appreciate that the data always saves to your hard drive, unless you didn't change the "run number," in which case you have to specifically tell it to replace the old data with the new data. When the exposed metal (where the temperature sensor is) was in direct contact with a surface I was trying to measure, or merely nearby that surface, I didn't see a difference of more than 1 deg F, which is good, in my opinion.
