TopBuilt 16 Ounce Black Rubber Mallet with Fiberglass Handle 25050 Review:

This mallet serves my needs perfectly. It has so far been ideal for the jobs I use it for, including bike repair and some woodworking. The fibreglass handle is good because I've broken several wood handles before, and the rubber is tougher than some other mallets I've owned (hence why I needed to order this in the first place). We'll see how long it lasts, but as of right now, I'm quite happy!

TEKTON 32 oz. Fiberglass Handle Rubber Mallet | 30605, Black Review:

This was a wise investment. This rubber mallet is exactly what I needed to flatten cinder blocks into a layer of compacted sand. I've also used it on sensitive pavers, and not a single chip has been chipped off by it. Considering the damage I've given the mallet head, I would have expected it to be completely worn out and chewed up, but it still appears to be brand new. It feels comfortable in my hand, has the ideal amount of weight, and appears to have the ideal center of gravity. Despite the fact that it is somewhat hefty, using it for a few hours at a time hasn't made me feel tired. It also does a terrific job of absorbing impact because I don't feel any unpleasant vibrations when I strike the pavers or cinder blocks. It's impressive that I'm not hurting myself considering how hard I'm hitting them as well.If you believe a rubber mallet can assist you with your job, buying one now is a no-brainer. I've never used a rubber mallet before, and I might not need one for years, but I think it was a perfect buy for this particular project, and I have no regrets about purchasing a product that I might not use very frequently at all. Man, go for it.

TEKTON 30812 Double-Faced Soft Mallet, 35 mm Review:

have a number of hammers from craftsman, sears. The majority only last 10 months, and all are broken. I simply return them to obtain free replacements. however the level of quality is declining. Moreover, it is becoming more difficult to return them as stores close. Thus, I discovered this hammer for less than $10. So I bought one. This hammer received almost 1000 strikes every day for a week. It was enduring admirably. So excellent, in fact, that I purchased 2 more. They are quicker and simpler to remove from my tool belt. generally reduced weight, but still does the job well.also, if I want, I can just buy the heads. alternative not present on other hammers I've used.If they live longer than a year, then all of my team will soon have these.

Estwing Rubber Mallet - 12 oz Double-Face Hammer with Soft/Hard Tips & Hickory Wood Handle - DFH12 Review:

Considering that it is a mass-produced item, this tool is good and well-made.I would without a doubt purchase another instrument of this type if I required one.My only issue is that although the hammer's multiple heads are designed to have "soft" and "hard" sides, I honestly can't tell which is which because both sides are very hard even though nothing I've hit with it has been dented or otherwise damaged.I purchased the hammer to use on Metro Shelves in order to loosen, adjust, and then reset the shelves, and it is ideal for that purpose! The hammer's weight is also advantageous because it only takes a few strikes to release the shelf; after that, it just needs a few more to lock it back in place.

FCHO Floor Gap Fixer Tool for Laminate Floor Gap Repair Include Suction Cup and Mallet (Can't use on scraped surface floor) Review:

I'll admit that I had some doubts about how well this would work, but my laminate flooring had some gaps, and I didn't want to start taking it out. So I took a chance with a bet of less than $20.Although the directions were poor, there isn't much to this. I placed the suction cups firmly on the board with the largest gap after consulting questions and prior reviews for advice (I ended up moistening the suction cups, though I'm not sure that it was essential), pressed down hard, and then gave the tool a few hits with the provided mallet. The divided planks simply slid back into place with little effort.I'm overjoyed with this buy.

TEKTON 30508 Wood Handle Rubber Mallet Set, 3-Piece Review:

An attractive set of mallets. You should always use the 16 oz. (middle size) mallet. Also, I've utilized the 32. I don't know what the 8 oz. is for; I just give it to my kids while they are "helping" me fix something to keep them occupied. After receiving them, I learned that I had already purchased TEKTON 82157 Screwdriver Bit Set, 33-Piece, also from Amazon. This was my second Tekton buy. I didn't buy them by name; I did it solely on pricing and reviews. But both goods have delivered good results. In the future, I'd actively look for Tekton products.Update 10-2016: After more use, I'm bumping these up to a 5-star rating. The quality of these mallets has me very pleased. The finish is a little bit slippery despite the handle's perfectly tapered shape. If you feel like it might slip from your hands, this is a simple remedy. I knocked down the finish with some coarse sandpaper.

Coleman Rubber Mallet with Tent Peg Remover Review:

Cheap rubber mallet that's of good quality. It held up well the few times I used it to disassemble metal shelves. It's a good bonus to have the hook so you can hang it while not in use.If there are any issues, I'll let you know, but so far, it seems solid and of good quality (for being under ten bucks).— Update: Being new to mallets, I didn't even consider their color until I noticed some black markings on the furniture I used this on. Although it lacks the hanging hook, I'm not sure whether I would spend a little bit more for this two-sided mallet if I had to do it over again after seeing this other mallet here on Amazon: 16-ounce Fiberglass Handle Rubber Mallet, White/Black, TEKTON 30683
