No, you cannot use a lawnmower without the catcher. The catcher is there to catch the grass clippings so that they do not end up on your lawn. If you do not have the catcher, then the clippings will just end up on your lawn, and it will not look very nice.
Yes, you can use attachments with a zero turn mower. There are a variety of attachments available that can be used with a zero turn mower, such as a bagger, snow blower, or plow.
Yes, riding lawn mowers have attachments. The most common attachment is a lawn bagger, which is used to collect grass clippings. Other attachments include a snow blade, which is used to clear snow from your driveway or sidewalk, and a lawn roller, which is used to flatten your lawn.
While it may vary depending on the model, in general, riding mowers hold their value quite well. This is due in part to the fact that they are a significant investment and are built to last. Additionally, many people who purchase riding mowers do so with the intention of using it for many years, which also contributes to its resale value.

This product did exactly what I needed it to do: flatten mole tunnels. Obviously, depending on the soil kinds and conditions, your mileage may vary. The pieces were divided into well marked bags for each step, making assembly simple. As soon as everything is put together, you should not tighten anything. Bolts did need to be loosened numerous times in order for the next step to be possible. Even though my drain plug was tight, I was able to thread it in with enough force to clear the frame. I did spin it one more turn with a pipe wrench, and there were no leaks at all. If you're going to push or pull it with your hands, the weight is ideal. I'm a 165 lb, very fit person, so it was easy to move around on flat ground, but climbing hills gave me a nice workout. Naturally, you can also tow it behind a lawn tractor, but I chose this particular type because it can be used in either situation. I would have chosen a bigger type with more storage if I was only going to haul it.

The end result was an excellent Dethatcher at a reasonable cost! If assembly had been simpler, I would have awarded five stars.Watch the five YouTube videos; they'll aid with assembly. It took me a little longer to put it together—probably 2 and a half hours—but I was watching "Reservoir Dogs" while I did it. I work at a desk all week. In some circumstances, the incorrect screw or bolt was used, and the proper screw had to be undone. That was caused by the movie I was watching, I say! When inserting the tines, reading some of the other reviews was helpful. Use a longer, larger screw driver, and they will quickly click shut.Due to how the height adjustment lever is set up, it is challenging to hang for storage, but I don't find this to be a major concern; it just takes up more space in the barn.Operation: I'm happy with the outcome, though it took a little tinkering to get it where I wanted. I initially used two full-size concrete blocks, but I soon realized it was too much weight. Concrete pavers were substituted (approximately 1/2 the weight), and they performed flawlessly. used bungee cords to secure. If the Dethatcher is too heavy, the tines will dig too deeply; if it is too light, it will bounce.Speed: If you go too quickly, the Dethatcher will only bounce. If you go too slowly, dethatching will take the entire day.It performed flawlessly once I determined out the proper weight and pace.I completed two acres yesterday:I started using the lawn tractor to mow and bag the grass.I disconnected the bagger and connected the Dethatcher.Occasionally stopped to clean the tines, then just raised the bar and pulled off. I had around a dozen sizable thatch heaps in the end. These heaps ultimately filled a wheelbarrow around 12 times.put on the bagger and removed the Dethatcher.went around at full throttle to collect the leftover thatch, and it's safe to say that at least a dozen times the bags were emptied. In the end, I was really happy with the outcome yesterday, though I'll probably go over it again today with the bagger. Great looking lawn! With a few pauses along the way, it took roughly 5 hours from beginning to end.DB

Our aerator was delivered to us yesterday. We were a little anxious about the assembly procedure because when we read other reviews before making a purchase, we noted some concerns regarding assembly problems. We simply unpacked the unit and thoughtfully arranged the parts for assembly. It was a little complicated because the instructions were written for aerators of two different sizes. To get clarification on what might have been missing components, we had to contact support. The support crew was timely, polite, and very helpful in determining that our aerator did not include the disputed item due to the smaller 40" size. This confusion could have easily been addressed by having the instructions ONLY for this unit rather than numerous units. While standard hand tools can be used to assemble this aerator, we tried to expedite the process whenever possible by using an electric driver. We used a Sterlite plastic tote filled with water as weight instead of concrete blocks because it was simple to change the weight and properly fit the tray (we have no extra storage space for random concrete blocks). Make a note of the location of the tube welds before attaching the plug-cutting tines to their assembly. For a more flush fit, position the tines on the side that is not welded (this will make more sense when you look at your tine assembly when you get yours home). Follow the directions carefully and move slowly to give the aerator enough time to function. If you move too quickly, you risk damaging your new tool. To aerate our lawn, we simply utilized second gear, a slow motor speed, and numerous overlapping passes.1) American-made, high-quality, heavy-duty steel construction.2) Fairly simple to put together.3) A sturdy, adequate-sized tray for loading weight to change the pressure or aeration depth (instructions suggest concrete blocks or sand bags but we used plastic tote filled with water).4) A well-designed hitch that comprises a hitch pin and cotter pin for attaching to a riding lawnmower or garden tractor5) When not aerating soil, strong, durable wheels for moving the aerator (like moving over driveway)6) Tows and follows the lawnmower with ease.7) Can be used in both forward and backward directions; on our property, we just backed into and out of the tricky corners.8) High-quality hardware appears to be included. Wheel bolts, heavy, large nuts, and nylon locking nuts.9) The box contained every component.

After a 14-hour workday, I made my husband put this sweeper together after receiving it yesterday. He put this together as I put together the front mount dethatcher (reviewed separately), and it took us an hour to install them both. I had to wait until this afternoon to play with my new toy because it started raining as soon as we were done.So far, I'm really happy with this sweeper. I really like this than the Ohio Steel that my mother-in-law has.The hopper is more durable than I anticipated. It features an open top and is lightweight. Unlike the Ohio Steel hopper, which drags on the ground and needs to have its fabric replaced about every two years because it is prone to tearing at the bottom, this hopper does not do so. It didn't sag or drag even when fully filled. It's incredibly simple and doesn't put any effort on the shoulders to empty this hopper. I have short arms so I have to reach the handle by bending, but I can. Grab the knob after raising the handle and pulling in your direction. Simple Peary I had no issues even when fully loaded with a lot of dead leaves. The Ohio Steel model has no accessories. Talk about shoulder pain, my hubby made a rope for me to tug on. Not to mention back pain and rope burns! It's incredibly simple to empty the AgriFab. My only issue was with the fire pile when I was backing up. Even though it contains a cotter pin, I was able to locate a pin at the front elbow joint. When I was dumping, I must have snagged it on a tree limb and ripped the pin. I grabbed a pin from the garage since I couldn't find the bar or pin that connected the two sections together.I discovered that when I struck mole runs or bumps, I didn't leave a trail of leaves because this hopper doesn't drag. Another welcome discovery In an afternoon, I could sweep two acres. I don't anticipate any issues because it's still early in the season and trees haven't really started to dump their leaves.I heartily endorse this device to anyone looking for a top-notch sweeper. It is more affordable and less expensive than Ohio Steel.**UPDATE*After using it for approximately a week, the frame twisted and broke at the side elbow joint. To check if I can obtain a replacement part, I will get in touch with Amazon. I'll provide another update once I've resolved that.

To make it simpler to collect pecans, I got this sweeper to clear the area underneath the pecan trees. I've cleaned under every one of my 16 pecan trees. The sweeper can be adjusted high for leaves and low for ground material. Nearly all of the poor pecans from the previous year were removed, along with a few small sticks and other trash. I have to empty the bag frequently because it does such an excellent job, but that's good. Although the instructions were a little challenging to follow, assembly was fairly laborious. However, I had all the components and put it together correctly the first time. The fact that the bottom back border of the bag has a seam is one aspect of the design that may be improved. The bag's back edge slides along the ground when it is full but stands upright when empty. There is a seam protector, however mine came off after a few washing. Before long, it will pull the seam out. To prevent wear, I'm thinking about placing some slides underneath it. With the exception of these two minor issues, I am really pleased with the sweeper and amazed by how much it can pick up.

Our Poulan Pro riding lawnmower lacks a bag attachment for collecting grass cuttings. The little bags that may be bought for the mower aren't really practical because we also have over an acre of lawn to cut. Our Agri-Fab lawn rake is AMAZING! My husband uses the Agri-Fab Lawn Sweeper to sweep up the grass clippings after we've done mowing a section of the lawn by connecting the sweeper to the mower. Additionally, our property has a number of tall pine trees, making it a regular effort to sweep up pine needles. As long as you move over them slowly, this sweeper will gather up pine needles that are lying on top of the grass. If you move over them quickly, however, they will shoot out over the back of the sweeper. Additionally, it features a lever for simple emptying when full. The sweeper had a damaged wheel when we originally bought it (half of the bushing was missing). After my husband called the business, they swiftly provided a replacement part without charging us any extra. They were incredibly helpful, and we ended up making a great choice in the sweeper.

A 20-year-old 38 lawn sweeper is being replaced by my "Agri-Fab Lawnsweep has a lot of damaged components. Although the manufacturer does not secure the box with straps, the Ohio Steel (OS) sweeper was dangerously near to having the bottom fall out by the time it came to my house. With the exception of the top and bottom hopper tubes and the tensioning rod installation, the instructions were generally quite clear and guided the installer through each process one at a time. The Agri-Fab used tiny parts that made removing the hopper only take five seconds, whereas the OS uses snap pins that are likely to require a screwdriver when removing the pins. Despite the fact that OS uses more clips and pins than Agri-Fab, I don't find it to be overly difficult to remove the hopper. They use a multi-hitch to accommodate more tractors, which is an improvement, but the leading edge of the OS is steel all the way to the bottom, unlike the Agri-Fab, which was metal up to a point and then the bottom one or two inches "was a rubber gasket, leaving the OS vulnerable to potentially harmful impacts from tree roots. To demonstrate several time-saving and safety tips, I've included some photographs. I was only able to upload six images to Amazon. The tensioning rods were the most hazardous and challenging component of assembly. Wear safety glasses or goggles if at all possible. Step into the hopper after placing it on its back. To prevent the tensioning rod from slipping in your hands during this phase, it is helpful to have grippy gloves or a set of disposable nitrile gloves on hand. Once the rod is in the top tube, guide it into position by holding the opposite end with one hand and the middle with the other. It might take a few practice passes before you get the hang of it.Make sure that the two tensioning rod holes are facing each other when you assemble the bottom and top tubes into the hopper; otherwise, you'll have to spend roughly 15 minutes undoing the assembly. When compared to the Agri-Fab, the sweeper's overall quality is impressive. While there are some differences between the two, I do favor the OS because of its wider design and ease of disassembly for small storage spaces. I believe the Agri-Fab hopper's construction materials were of higher quality, but I have some concerns about the OS hopper's thinner bottom because that is where the most wear occurs. When the sweeper is properly mounted to the tractor, the hopper's bottom should be at least a few inches off the ground. I would have given this sweeper a five if the hopper were more durable. 9/3/19: about to begin my fourth season with the sweeper, and thus far, the bottom of the hopper has endured numerous full loads of wet leaves and grass, all the pieces still line up well, and I haven't lost any of the hardware. My worries that roots might ding up the bottom front of the brush guard were misplaced. My duties need me to sweep up pin needles and leaves from different trees, and my standard method is to cut leaves toward the center of the work area before sweeping up the chopped leaves to get more leaves (and weight) into the hopper. Despite all of this, the sweeper has held up well.

Let's start with assembly. The directions are simple, which is fortunate given today's preoccupation with hazy graphics (looking at you, Graco Pack N Play)! English only! also not translated using Google! The simplest way to put it together is to keep the marginally helpful illustration and have two 10mm, a 13mm, and a 14mm. I chose to use a socket and a box end wrench. I wouldn't want to attempt it using the pliers they advise. The bad news is that item was shipped all the way from Vietnam. Since it is composed of light-weight stamped steel, anyone can lift it. The issue with this is that it will be slightly out of alignment after being transported by truck from the plant to the dock, then by ferry to sunny California, then by Amzn distribution, and finally by you. Your largest obstacle in assemblely is the misalignment. But once everything is put together, it functions perfectly. By hand moving it from the patio to the shed, it was possible to gather some grass and leaf debris. Without carefully adjusting the height as you would when using, this is. Using the upper hoop, you can tip the rope to skip it. If my opinions after using it alter, I'll update this.

My John Deere rider had no trouble connecting to it. I imagine that the majority of riders' tongues will be at the ideal height for this aerator.I used three cinder blocks, but I didn't secure them. I made a mistake there. As indicated in the promotional materials, you should secure them.Although there is a fair amount of assembly necessary, the instructions were straightforward. Basic equipment is needed. If my memory is correct, all you needed was a wrench and the appropriate socket with ratchet.Be aware that debris will accumulate on the tines. That probably depends a lot on the state of your lawn. Make sure your grass is clean of surface debris, such as leaves, for optimal results.Sticks or branches can get wedged between the tines and prevent them from spinning. When that occurs, you aren't aerating your lawn; you are plowing it.Given that any tool comes with some level of common sense, I won't deduct any review points for this function. Before using your grass, make sure it's sufficiently clean.
Riding lawn mowers can last anywhere from 10 to 15 years, depending on the make and model. Regular maintenance is key to prolonging the life of your riding lawn mower. Be sure to read the owner’s manual for specific maintenance instructions.
A lawn tractor can last anywhere from 10 to 20 years, depending on the make and model and how well it is taken care of.
A riding mower needs at least 15 horsepower to function. However, the amount of horsepower you need may vary depending on the size and type of riding mower you have. If you have a small riding mower, you may only need 15 horsepower. However, if you have a larger riding mower, you may need 20 horsepower or more. Ultimately, the amount of horsepower you need will depend on the size and type of riding mower you have.
There are a few things to consider when trying to answer this question. One is the terrain that you will be using the lawn mower on. If you have a hilly yard, then rear wheel drive may be the better option. This is because rear wheel drive provides more traction and will help to prevent the lawn mower from slipping. Another thing to consider is the size of your lawn. If you have a large lawn, then front wheel drive may be the better option. This is because front wheel drive lawn mowers are typically more powerful and can cover more ground.
There is no definitive answer as to whether John Deere or Cub Cadet is better. It really depends on your personal preferences and needs. However, some people prefer John Deere because of its reputation for durability and reliability. Others prefer Cub Cadet because of its lower price point. Ultimately, it is up to the individual to decide which brand is better for them.
The answer to this question depends on your lawn and your personal preference. If you have a small lawn, you may find it easier to mow with the catcher on so that you don't have to stop as often to empty it. However, if you have a large lawn or one with a lot of obstacles, you may find it easier to mow with the catcher off so that you can maneuver more easily. Ultimately, it is up to you to decide which method works better for you.
