I recently received them, and considering some of the reviews, I am pleasantly impressed at the quality for the price. All three have a tasteful dark bronze finish that is done in an enamel that has a hint of gloss. They are held together by spot welds that are neatly completed and mostly undetectable on the underside.Given some of the reviews, I was originally hesitant to order them, but they were the perfect size, so I'm happy I did. But because of the loose fit, the stand is rather shaky. The entire structure sways when I move the top of one of the legs. I bought two "big" pots, and I adore the finishing touch it gives my Zanzibar Gem (ZZ) plant and Fig Fiddle Leaf Tree. The planters arrived VERY well guarded. The actual planters are safely enclosed in substantial styrofoam molds, and the shipping crates are substantial and thick. Since I use the planters as decorations and fill them with already-potted plants, I am not bothered that they lack drainage holes. The entrance of the sizable planter pot measures 10 inches in diameter and 12 inches in depth. Therefore, you might wish to scale up if the diameter of your plant is greater. In order to improve the appearance of my tall but smaller Zanzibar Gem plants, I also took away the round styrofoam mold packing material and placed the entire disc at the bottom of the planter. This allowed me to raise the plants' height to the proper level. Use some of that packaging material over and again. Make it useful to you! It's a very cute little plant stand, and I appreciate that it can be used at different heights. Excellent packaging—I'd use the business again solely for that. It came with two screw sets, which was clever. Very decent instructions, however I wish they had made a little more mention of the tool that came with the item. Strange cylinder with flat ends on a screwdriver handle. A magnet, perhaps? The metal's paint work is adequate but not outstanding.
