They're excellent! I use one in my range bag and another in my cleaning kit, but they came packaged together rather than separately, so I may need to purchase a second zip-top bag to store them both. The towels cleaned up my G17 nicely, are of decent quality, don't feel moist, and didn't leave a film on my fingertips. The silicone polished the plastic components and made the metal components of my gun look brand new. It also eliminated fingerprints. These were pretty much exactly what I ordered and what I was searching for. I was quite happy with these because it had been challenging for me to find a basic gun cloth that wasn't silicone-treated or the lint-magnet variety that is more frequently used for home cleaning.Despite the fact that I'm confident they'd be suitable for that, I don't intend to use them specifically for cleaning guns (but will definititly trash them much sooner). These seem to be ideal for giving your pistol a thorough wash down after each cleaning to remove any excess oil, or to apply a protective coating, or for touch-up cleanings at the range, etc. The size also appears to be ideal.Additionally, having three is quite convenient and feels like a decent value for around the cost of just one Remcloth. To keep it accessible, I keep one in my range bag, one in my cleaning case, and one on top of my safe.Worth a look for only a few dollars.

Cotton swabs typically have rounder heads because of their nature. Naturally, this is ideal for cleaning and polishing flat surfaces. However, if you've ever worked in the military or have a few firearms in your possession, you may have encountered the problem of that rounded head being pinched and leaving nagging cotton threads behind. Even though it's not the end of the world, cleaning is never made any simpler.This issue is partially resolved by the pointed tip swabs. With its tip, it may fit into crevices and nooks that the spherical head frequently tripped over. Not quite accurate because burs or sharp edges will still tug on the cotton. But it is useful.I discovered the sticks to be sturdy. They're not completely rigid and brittle, but they do the job.

The greatest pistol cleaning patches I've ever seen are these.The majority of pistol cleaning patches are constructed from thin, everyday cotton rags, much like a tiny fragment of a white T-shirt.They are quite thin, have frayed edges, and are not as absorbent as they need to be for cleaning guns.In contrast, while they are "100% cotton flannel," they feel more like "jersey knit" material.They are very little "fuzzy," which makes them more absorbent, but they don't pill or fray—they maintain their integrity.This gives the barrel of the gun a little more bulk, which helps it take up more trash with each run through. It will also store more cleaner or oil, if you're using it for that. If you choose the less expensive, thinner "cotton T-shirt piece" sort of gun cleaning patch material, you could discover that you don't need nearly as large a piece of these flannel patches as you might otherwise need.When you pick up the package and squeeze a few patches with your hands or touch the surface of these patches, you can immediately tell that these flannel patches are far higher quality than standard cotton patches. I don't think you'll ever want to go back to the more widely used thin cotton version of gun cleaning patches once you've tried these flannel patches.The small price difference between these premium flannel patches and the less expensive thin cotton patches is essentially negligible unless you are a professional gunsmith who uses dozens of patches every day.Additionally, I saw that these patches were produced in the USA. Compared to my AR or AK, my Henry rifle doesn't fall apart as quickly. It's challenging to clean the chamber inside. However, I would prefer to see them with larger, more absorbent heads. Having said that, they completed the job I wanted them to do, albeit somewhat awkwardly, allowing me to avoid disassembling the Henry after each trip to the range. every third or fourth trip, perhaps. (The remainder of the gun is thoroughly cleaned and lubricated following each trip.)These cotton-covered swabs have firm sticks on both ends. I mentioned that I would prefer more cotton, but some would prefer less. Each to their own. They are preferable to using flimsy, short q-tips.

If you were hoping for cotton patches, you would be let down. Maybe.... With them, I was able to remove Copper from my Super Copper Fowling Savage more quickly than ever. They are constructed from a thin, stretchy synthetic material. This patch can be folded over or folded twice in half for a tighter fit. I used the 2 1/2" square patches, generally folded over twice, that I purchased. I noticed that I was getting more streaks of yellow copper when I performed this and used copper remover than I had with conventional patches. I used a third to a half of the time I usually use. I believe that if you didn't fold them, you could utilize these even in a.223 caliber. not attempted. They don't get trapped or even slightly tear. Even if it were to become trapped, I believe you could simply push it through. Because they are so distinctive, they make a fantastic addition to my normal patches. strange personality traits very well at holding liquid. I'm unsure about their material composition. You can see they are made of some plastic nylon stuff because I torched one (see image). Burning them produces rigid, black plastic.

This product is excellent. The cloth is not intended for thorough cleaning, especially for individuals who may be new to firearms. It is intended to be used to clean the pistol after a thorough cleaning and to wash it down between uses. I clean my EDC at least twice a week. It effectively eliminates fingerprints and other debris while leaving a protective coating. It works well on stainless steel, plastics, wood, and alloy.By the way, the cloth shouldn't be touchably moist. You only want to wipe down the rifle, not give it a bath. You should be able to notice the change on your gun and feel the silicone on your hands after using what would appear to be a dry cloth. It will stay in tip-top shape for a while if you store it in the factory-provided plastic bag (or a Ziploc bag). I keep a can of pure silicone in my possession, which I occasionally use to rehydrate the fabric.One is in my range bag, and the other is in my cleaning equipment. Sweat and gun metal don't go well together. The weather is hot and muggy where I reside. Steel doesn't do well in this atmosphere, and rust on a weapon can spread swiftly. After cleaning and before storing my weapons, I've always made it a habit to wipe them down with an oiled cloth. Kind of greasy and stench-filled. Additionally, there is the greasy rag to take care of. I'm surprised it took me so long to realize the benefits of using silicone cloth. It smells good and only faint traces of a shiny protective film are left on the metal. After use, the weapons don't feel greasy. The metal's improved shine indicates that there is a layer of defense. The cloth is also excellent for cleaning magazines' covers.
