The casing is undoubtedly strong enough to prevent it from being dropped or even stepped on. The elastic band that holds the GPS in the right-hand shell is flimsy, and after only a few months of use, ours is already beginning to stretch. The GPS won't be held securely in that part of the case by next year, as I anticipate, but I'll probably still use the case by crossing the left side over the right and zipping it shut. Overall, a solid casing with only one issue.

No need to worry, these powerful magnets will adhere to your car quite nicely. I tested it out on a sedan and an SUV, driving 200 miles in both, over bumps, through cities, and in the rain. This was firmly fastened!The magnetic enclosure is sturdy, but be in mind that it is made of plastic that is coupled to metal magnets. If you place this under a car, stay away from hot spots like the muffler, the exhaust system, or the cats. You'll either have a damaged case or the case containing your tracker will fall off at any given time since the case will melt and warp, magnets lose their ability to adhere to metal when they become hot, and the case will distort and melt. After using my case for a few hours, I tested it out and found that it was easily destroyed when I positioned it too close to the muffler. I emailed the seller, and they have great customer service, a phone number, and they respond to emails very away. A day later, they delivered me a replacement case without charging me. I tested the case's water resistance by driving through a whole day of rain, thus the answer is yes.

I occasionally travel, and I prefer to have my own GPS because you can never rely on Hertz or Avis to have one available when you need it. You must have a variety of mounts with you because you never know what kind of car you will acquire. I have an AC vent holder, a dash pad that I can use with Command strips, and a few other little things. Additionally, I have a power wire, a USB charger for my phone, and a 3.5mm audio patch cable. I'd like to have them all in one spot, ready to go, because I don't like having to search for all of these pieces while I'm packing for a trip.It was time for a new casing because my new Garmin GPS is significantly bigger than my old one (7" diagonal, I believe—the biggest one they now make for automobiles). Something that would hold all of the components and keep the screen from getting scratched while traveling. This was effective! The GPS is protected from the other items in the case by a padded area on the top, and the cords and mounts are stored in a pocket at the bottom of the case. The dash pad can be turned such that the mounting arm protrudes down into the cord compartment and the base points upward. Everything is in place, zips up properly, and is ready to travel.

This case is where I keep my scuba regulator; I bought it. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to discover that I could also fit my secondary regulator in the case. While the bottom half is unpadded and covered in microfibre fur, the upper half is padded. This would undoubtedly safeguard the electronics for which it was intended. All of my equipment fits fine when I cut the bottom part of the netting out. Anyone seeking for a padded EVA foam case of these size should definitely consider this case.One thing to note: The bottom portion of the case I received did not have a zipped net. The netting did not have a zipper as shown in the advertisement, but it did have a stitched slit in the centre that a hand could reach through.

The item arrived promptly and in nice shape. Before I finally had to buy a new cover because the old one tore, the cover held up for a long time. However, I put it through rigorous exercises, treks (during which I slipped through several rocks), daily cleaning for my cleaning firm, and coaching cheerleading, where it would frequently be bashed around if I was helping kids. The only reason I had to replace the cover was because I slipped through a lot of pebbles and completely destroyed the screen protector, which probably only lasted me about four months. But the screen itself was absolutely unharmed! It does an excellent job of keeping my watch looking clean and new, therefore I would suggest it to anyone with a Garmin Forerunner 35!

Since it is a universal fit case, some fitting issues may arise when using various model units. The interior is 7" by 2.75" by 1.5". The case should hold up well with light to moderate use and appears to be well constructed for the price. The interior is cushioned.The GPSMAP 78SC fits perfectly inside the case I purchased for it, with space to spare above or below the unit. The additional room might be used to house extra batteries or other tiny gadgets.The zipper is the only item that caused a raised eyebrow. Not equally on either side of the case does it zip down. If you wear the case on your left, then this can become a problem. You might have some difficulty inserting or removing the zipper because it doesn't zip down as far on that side of the case; this is especially true when you're in a hurry.

This cover is a perfect fit for the Striker 4. It is somewhat challenging to remove once it has been snapped into place, as others have stated. This is mainly because the fishfinder lacks a surface on which to hold onto while removing the cover from the bottom. Two tabs on the top and two tabs on the bottom of the back of the cover fit into recesses on the back of the fishfinder to secure it. I merely cut the length of the two bottom tabs in half. The cover still snaps on and is securely fastened, but it is now much simpler to take off. Without worrying that the cover might fly off, I have trailered the boat at 70 mph. pleased with the purchase.
