What a bottle of miracles! They are quite sizable bottles, and the two-pack deal is unbeatable; it made my day! My skin is grateful to you! I use it on my face, but witch hazel is beneficial for many skin conditions. When I tried it on my legs, they felt as soft as if I had used lotion. I use this on lazy nights to simply brush a few cotton balls across my face, and in the morning my skin is so clear, bright, and youthful-looking! It does this in a way that eludes me. On the sides of my cheeks and jaw, I have had very severe, cystic acne for about 4 years. It suddenly appeared and was adult onset. I've heard a lot of complaints that witch hazel dries the skin out a lot. What appears to appear first when you Google "witch hazel" are the bad comments.Since I was a teenager, I've used witch hazel, and my skin has never experienced any drying effects. I might be utilizing it differently than others, though.I soak my washcloths in hot water, dab a little of it on the cloth, and apply it to my skin. That, in my opinion, somewhat dilutes it, which may be why it's not too drying.After using, my skin always feels really tingling, fresh, and clean. I only use it once a day when I first get up in the morning.I don't remove my makeup with witch hazel. I simply wipe my face with it in the morning before putting on makeup.Witch-hazel is not the ideal product, in my opinion, to use to remove makeup. The majority of makeup is designed to be removed with either soap or oil. I use bar soap to take off my makeup. Because my mascara is waterproof, I removed it with almond oil.I don't cure acne with witch hazel. I only use it in the mornings as a toner for cleansing.I think you'll be much happier with it if you have realistic expectations of what it can do for you.I only bought this particular kind of witch hazel since I think it offers the best value for the money. Just to be clear, I don't use toners. It is disappointing because, while in theory, toners are a fantastic product, the most of them contain alcohol or unneeded fragrance. Toners are only meant to balance the skin after cleansing and get it ready for the rest of the routine, in my opinion. You can also exfoliate with them, but those are frequently overly abrasive and drying. When I would wipe my face, I used to adore the cool, fragrant dampness that it brought. But now I'm wiser.I love this toner so much! After cleansing, I've immediately noticed a difference in how my skin is responding to my other products. They must be making progress because more and more items are being consumed. For instance, I use a 10% BP cleaner. It is fairly thick, but because it treats my hormonal acne, it persists. Anyway, after using that cleanser, I apply Thayers, then my AHA and BHA, and finish by moisturizing with serums and lotions. Since I began, my face has started to clear up more quickly, and my old markings are drying up and healing more effectively. The nicest aspect is that it doesn't burn, hasn't irritated the skin, and doesn't have a strong aroma. Since most of the time these well-known products never work for me, I'm first dubious about them. However, this product has a superb list of ingredients and feeds my skin the nutrients it needs without the use of harsh fillers. I sincerely hope it keeps giving my skin the balance it requires. It is now doing wonders for the price.

The prescription acne medicine (benzoyl peroxide with clindamycin) worked well for my adolescent son's mild acne, but he was left with post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation (PIH), which are the dark scars that remain after a pimple has healed. He doesn't need to exfoliate with a rough cleanser, scrub pad, or brush to attempt and remove dead skin cells because it isn't too harsh and doesn't dry out his skin.
