I've used this cleaner for two to three days.I still adore it, but there are two things that, well, I don't really adore.1. The smell; I'm not sure how to describe it; it's delicate, fresh, but odd. I wouldn't want to use it simply to smell it; that type of sent.2. The feeling; the product has a gel-like texture, and I must use two pumps per wash because one pump is not enough to make my face feel clean. This cleanser doesn't produce a lot of foam; instead, it seems to transform into a cleansing milk as you apply it.It doesn't leave you with that clean, fresh sensation you get after washing your face, which is something I both appreciate and detest. If you can call it that, it leaves a residue on your skin that makes it feel silky and smooth. The reason I have to wash my face twice is so that I can be sure that, despite how it feels, my face is actually clean.It does make my skin supple, smooth, and soft, and I haven't noticed any acne or anything else!After one month...The cleaner has my heart... I have to presume that everybody else who uses this product has also used a dozen other skincare products that make the same claim about getting rid of oily skin while still being gentle enough not to irritate it. I also suppose that the majority of people who looked at this product were unable to locate an effective skincare solution. The French do know how to produce a mean face cleanser, perhaps because they are affluent and demand the best.Although it is still viscous, it is a strange feeling that you will grow used to. When I initially tried the product, I thought it was useless because it felt almost like water on my skin. Additionally, the smell is a little strange, resembling grandma's house with a hint of medical cleanser. This stuff has worked wonders on my face despite the stench and the lack of the "I am absolutely clean!" feeling. It keeps "the shine" at bay nicely without drying out my skin, which means that my face is not continuously attempting to outdo itself by creating more oil (all of you with oily faces know what I am talking about). It has significantly improved the way my skin looks and is now my go-to morning shower face wash.Despite the fact that this product might not work for you (curse you dermatological Gods! ), it does for me. This item has completely changed the game. Completely. Compared to other products I've tested on the market, the medicated gel cleanser from Effaclar has been the most effective for my adult-onset cystic acne. I've been using Effaclar for approximately a year, as you can see in the photo, and it has continued to work well. On my chin and jaw area, the painful cysts are no longer present. Because that has happened to me with every other product I've tried, at first I assumed it was the novelty of a new product that my skin hadn't yet grown used to. But I'm still acne-free a year later.Every night before I go to bed, I simply apply a dime-sized quantity and gently work it in with my fingertips for a minute or two. I then wash it off with warm water and pat myself dry with a fresh washcloth. Because Effaclar does have a propensity to be drying and can cause your skin to feel tight, every other day I finish the regimen with a gentle vitamin C night lotion.I'm not a doctor, so I hesitate to use the word "cure" with any treatment, but it really does seem like my cystic acne is under control. Every other treatment treats minor pimples and blemishes, but until I discovered Effaclar, I had never discovered one that genuinely worked for cysts. Stop suffering, cystic acne sufferers!The gel tends to flow out of the tube when you open it after it has been standing upright all day, therefore it is preferable to store this product on its side rather than cap-side down, which is my sole disappointment. What else can I say besides that it's ideal for controlling acne, pimples, and minor oil production. It dries my skin a little bit more than I'd want, but I'm controlling the dryness with other cosmetic products. I had bad cystic acne for a while. Reddit's /r/skincareaddiction caught my attention and introduced me to the world of Paula's Choice. I've used a lot of their goods. For me, this face wash works the best. The first time you order anything, I advise using the Paula's Choice website because you can get a ton of free samples there. I refill on this site since it's convenient. A bottle keeps for a time. Compared to other salicylic acid cleaners I've used, this one works a lot better. I'm 33 and my skin has evolved a lot in the last few years, so I don't get cystic acne like I used to, but I still get breakouts and this cleanser is fantastic for me. Everyone's skin is unique, therefore before choosing a product, I advise studying about your skin type and experimenting with several options.

I just bought my third tube for my scar on my forehead. I have been patiently applying it before bed and three to four times every day. The fact that it does work and costs so little considering the components astonished me.As an aesthetician, I am aware of how challenging it is to repair scars. Most importantly, you MUST avoid UV if you want to win the war against scars. I applied gel, waited till it was absorbed by the skin, and then covered it with silicon scar tape after realizing zinc spf made it worse (dehydrates scar). or put on heat.Please be patient and avoid the sun until the scar has healed.
