How do you thicken enchilada sauce?

There are a few ways to thicken enchilada sauce. One way is to add a flour or cornstarch slurry. To make a slurry, mix equal parts of flour or cornstarch with water in a small bowl. This will take longer, but will result in a thicker, more concentrated sauce.

Old El Paso Enchilada Sauce, Mild, Red, 28 oz Can Review:

This is a fantastic enchilada sauce, and I appreciate that it comes in a bigger can than I've been able to acquire locally. The larger can offers me enough sauce to cook a larger dinner because I frequently have friends or relatives over. I appreciate the flavour since it has the perfect balance of spices and isn't overly spicy.

McCormick Enchilada Sauce Mix, 1.5 Ounce (Pack of 12) Review:

In September of last year, my family and I began avoiding gluten in our diets. I had to search for substitutes for the gluten-containing goods I had been using. I was overjoyed to see that McCormick produced this delicious enchilada sauce packet! We are overjoyed to be able to eat enchiladas that are as delicious as previously as a family!

Las Palmas Enchilada Sauce, Medium Green Chile, 28 Ounce (Pack of 12) Review:

I adore this Green Enchilada sauce and use it to make enchiladas, hog or chicken chile verde, nutritious posole, white turkey chile, and other Mexican dishes that I prepare on a regular basis. Great all-purpose flavor with only 25 calories per 1/4 cup, making it a reasonably sensible choice when combined with veggies and lean meats. It's difficult to locate nearby in Pennsylvania food stores, but Amazon has a great pricing.

Rosarita Enchilada Sauce, Keto Friendly, 20 oz, 12 Pack Review:

There are eleven friends over for games and food. There is an abundance of tasty foods. I made a giant bowl of these "ball park" style nachos, and as soon as they were served, everyone raved about how delicious they were. In an hour, we consumed two full bags of chips. There is a tinge of spiciness in the cheese sauce. Just right for both those who enjoy spiciness and those who don't. The can weighs 6 pounds and 10 ounces, and I covered it for the refrigerator using the plastic lid I removed from my coffee can.Given the cost, quantity, and flavor of some premium chips. It's a success! For the new year, another can will be ordered. Because some visitors simply won't consume cheese sauce like this, we'll still serve sliced meat and cheeses in addition to a variety of veggies and other wholesome snack platters. No visitors under the age of 22 attended our game night. Kids would adore this stuff, though, I'm sure.On the can's back, it reads 53 servings at 80 calories each and 50 calories of fat; I hope the price doesn't increase. Those are, in my perspective, generous portions. Even while you wouldn't want to sit down and consume half a can of food every day or anything, it's still pleasant to say, "WTH?" occasionally and take pleasure in life and delicious cuisine.Rosarita gets a thumbs up from me. WAY UP!

La Victoria Green Chile Enchilada Sauce Mild, 28 Ounce Review:

This sauce is a favorite of even my pickiest eater. I use the Pioneer Woman's enchilada recipe; I use La Victoria Green Chile Enchilada Sauce Mild mixed into a slurry of one tablespoon of oil and one tablespoon of flour, then a half box container of chicken broth. I know this is slightly different from her recipe; look up her recipe to be accurate for your tastes; I have adjusted for my family's tastes. For the little child, I place plain mild cheese within FLOUR shells. For the adult members of the family, I either add chicken, black beans, and cheese along with fresh cilantro and onions, or I substitute red meat (cooked ground beef or shredded roast) for the chicken. Without taking the time to make it myself, this is the closest thing I've found to real Green Chile sauce. fantastic flavor But keep in mind, this is a MILD sauce.
