Nutri-Vet Eye Rinse Liquid for Cats, 4-Ounce Review:

Every once in a while, my cat will get an irritation, usually in one eye at a time. I’ve taken him to the vet for it before, only to have them tell me it was nothing and it always goes away on its own within a day. I imagine it’s similar to when we get something like hair or dirt in our own eyes.

The thing is, it breaks my heart to look over and see the cat squinting and rubbing his eye. Poor guy.

This eye rinse has been amazing for that. Leonardo is really good about sitting still and allowing me to do it and within minutes whatever has been bothering him seems to clear up. I am thrilled with this product. There have not been any negative side effects and Leonardo doesn’t seem to be bothered by the use of it. I am so glad that I came across this for so cheap on Amazon, it has been a great thing to have around.

MicrocynAH Formulated with The Original and Patented Microcyn Technology Eye and Ear Wash Review:

My husky was getting light greenish goop in one eye that was affecting his vision. This was recommended along with another product. I bought this and have been cleaning his eye multiple times daily and it has helped tremendously! Now it’s only once a day and decreasing in the amount. The big bonus is that it’s cheaper than at a vets office.

Eye Envy - Tear Stain Remover Powder- for Dogs and Cats, 4oz - Safe and Natural Review:

Wow!!! It's been two days and the results are amazing so far!!! Both of my cats have tear issues. They don't seem to stain that much, but they get super thick goopy tears that end up getting all over them and other things. Day one the tears were barely any colour, and day two the tears are completely clear and no goop. So far no eye irritation, they don't mind it much and even on my black cat it absorbs very well.

I will also note I am not using any of the other eye envy products, just water on a toothbrush to clean the goop off initially.

I will be posting updates.

UPDATE: I have decided to reduce my rating to 4 stars because i noticed that when i was using Eye Envy often on my cat he was getting little raw spots beside his eyes where i apply the powder. I'm not sure if this is because of the powder itself or the fact that i have to kinda rub the powder in the get it on the spot that gets bad. So im cutting down use to every once in a while. Kinda disappointing i cant use this daily.

PetAlive Eye-Heal, 59 ml Review:

I had to write a review about this product, and going to keep it short and simple. IT WORKS. My dog's eye all of the sudden became redish, swollen and I was going to result to taking her to the Vet if this product didn't work, this one the last result after trying some other methods with Saline solution that didn't work for crap and also putting Cod Liver Oil in the eye because it has some healing properties, but still that didn't work, but she sure did smell like fish when it was bed time, lol.

Once I got this product, I immediately used it on her eyes and after just 1 day the mucus that was coming out of her eyes was way less, the the day before without this product. The second day, almost all gone and her eyes was much controllable during sleep time. After 1 week of the product, the swelling of her eyes was diminishing. I was like, yay! No Vet visit and money stays in the pocket. After 1 week, the bottle was gone and ordered another one just to keep it and make sure the swelling goes away. She is doing much better and is now her self. I am so happy that I don't have to take a trip to the Vet's office. I am all about trying different things but to an extent, if within 1 week or so it doesn't get better, to the Vet we go. I am also giving her Spirulina, which is extremely good for allergies, which is what she has. She's been on Spirulina for about 2 week with today. Nuts.com has the Spirulina and you only need 1/8 of a tsp a day with food. I know this is not the only reason why she is getting better, but the Spiraling also has a major part as with allergies dogs or cats have to be on medication and my dog is not on any type of medication, as I said before, yay! No Vet visits, and no medications.

I take Spirulina my self for health.

I-Med Pharma i-Drop Vet Gel, 10ml Bottle Review:

My dog has had a dry eye for a while now. He has cherry eye on his left eye from scratching it too much. Now it doesn't product any tears and his eye is always completely dry. Therefore, the vet had told us we have to constantly give him eye drops to replace his tears. I was told that human eye drops can be used, however, they have to say artificial tears for them to work for my dogs purposes. My vet told me that other drops for dry eyes and what not can actually cause more dryness so she recommended this eye drop as well.
So far it has worked very well. We use this along with 3 other eye drops and alternate between them. I like that this is a gel and much thicker than a typical eye drop.
My only con is the size of this thing, and the price. For a 10ml eye drop the price tag is pretty expensive in my opinion. However, it does work so I will keep purchasing it.

MicrocynAH Ophthalmic Gel Review:

My dog has dreadful allergies that affect his eyes terribly. He's on allergy medication but his eyes can still get either red and/or gummy quite easily. This product cleared up the infection in a matter of days. My dog allows me to put it in with little fuss on his part--certainly no more than when I use eye wash or a liquid product. A caveat to those planning to use it: The gel formula means that you only need to use a tiny bit; one drop in each eye worked perfectly for my huge Newfoundland. Besides, the gel texture means that anything over one drop will run right out of your pet's eye. It isn't a huge deal, but if you aren't careful dispensing it, you can waste product. Dispense carefully and you'll get a lot of miles out of one bottle because it works great!

Arava Pet Eye Wipes - for Dogs Cats Puppies & Kittens - 100 Count - Natural and Aromatherapy Medicated - Removes Dirt Crust and Discharge - Prevents Tear Stain Infections & Irritations - Soft & Gentle Review:

Product contains: Aqua. Propylene Glycol, Caprylic/capric triglyceride, Dehydroacetic acid, Benzyl alcohol, Polyaminopropyl Biguanide, Perfume (Green Tea, Cucumber)Chamomilla recutita extract, Citric acid, Dead Sea Salt, Aloe Barbadensis Extract (Aloe Vera), Vitamine E Acetate, D-panthenol (pro vitamin b5), Euphrasia officinalis Extract, Taraxacum officinale Extract. To answer complaints of dryness of wipes: Over time of use the container, just due to it's design, will probably allow evaporation of enough liquid to require the addition of some extra distilled water to use all of the wipes. This would not be the case if the wipes are used more often than I do with only one dog. This is a trade off with an easy to use container. These wipes soften the eye muck from the corner of my Yorkie's eyes enough to gently wipe them clean and the wipes don't sting the eyes (either mine or my dogs). From experience the customer service is over the top. These are people who care about dogs and dog owners and are not a large customer service center but rather real people who respond to questions. Who knows what all those ingredients are for, I'm not a chemist, but now review readers will know without having to buy and isn't that what a review is for? I will certainly buy this product again, and especially from this company.

Four Paws Crystal Eye Tear Stain Remover Review:

I disagree with the negative reviews. I did not notice the bad smell mentioned by another reviewer. This product does not bleach out existing tear stains from the fur, but once you get them under control (probably with a systemic product), Crystal Eyes seems to be a good, gentle cleanser. It does not irritate my dog's eyes, and it helps to dislodge any discharge that accumulates in the corners of her eyes. I use it every couple of days, scrubbing with a cotton ball gently but thoroughly, around the entire eye area. My dog is a senior white Bichon whose face was stained terribly when I got her. Now her little face is bright and beautiful! She looks about half her age. I have just purchased my second bottle. (4/10/12 -- Update. Although not related to product performance, the photo for the product I ordered shows an 8 oz bottle. The product I received was only a 4 oz bottle -- and the bottle leaked during shipment. I feel as though I was overcharged, but it's too much trouble to do a return. Although I will buy Crystal Eye again, I probably will not order it from Amazon.)

Miracle Care Eye Clear Sterile Eye Wash Review:

My shih tzu had a bad eye injury which required cleaning 2x a day for months. If not cleaned properly or frequently, her eyes would eventually crust shut from the extra tears and gunk they produced. I started using these Miracle Care eye wash pads which instructs with clean hands to squeeze the excess liquid into the dogs eyes and then wipe.

The solution worked to wash away the gunk and it melted away the crust from around the eyes stuck in her long fur. All I have to do is light wiping after the solution tears up to the corner of her eyes. After weeks of using it consistently, her eye function and clarity has improved so much!

I clean her eyes about once a week now--it's amazing how fast her condition improved from just using these pads. She was also prescribed a small $20/bottle ointment that the vet said to apply to her eyes indefinitely. I have not had to apply it to see results but I will continue to administer it until we run out. Will be repurchasing these pads ONLY and highly recommend!
