I was overjoyed to notice that the glass didn't break or chip during delivery. I am aware that UPS, USPS, and FedEx have shady delivery practices, so it is typically not the seller's fault, but I simply didn't want the inconvenience. Fortunately, this curio box arrived in pristine shape.The sides, top, and bottom of the wood frame have already been precut and assembled. For particle board, they feel quite durable.Even though it was a great pain, I was able to stabilize everything by having one other person assist me in sliding the side glass panels into the main rear panel. Particularly, the door required at least one additional hand to make things simpler.The only gaps are around the door, which can be readily closed with dustproof black foam stripes that can stick around the borders. Everything else fits perfectly.The size is my favorite feature. Actually, quite a variety of figurines or other collectibles fit on each shelf.But because the top wood panel is so dark, all of my top shelf figures are seriously shadowed. Eventually, I'll have to install some cheap lights for when I want to show off.The top wood panel, in my opinion, would have to be considered a drawback. The case would be lighter and significantly more appealing if it were also transparent glass. In the future, I might think about making the changes myself.This is the only case I've discovered that offers free shipping and is sleek and contemporary rather than looking dated and ancient. The little gray plastic feet do a good job of keeping my floor boards from being damaged despite its affordable price and robust construction. I adore this cabinet so much! This small cabinet is just what I needed for some of my trinkets. I currently have it on the ground. Surprisingly, it is stable! It wonderfully fits into a corner of my bedroom. Although I have concluded that I prefer it where it is, I may mount it on the wall in the future. This cabinet has a lot of sophistication thanks to the glass shelves and the mirror in the back. The magnets on the top of the doors keep them closed. The front and sides of the acrylic material have a glass-like appearance. Glass would make it heavier, more fragile, and less safe, therefore I'm pleased they aren't. I'm grateful. To put this together, you'll need two individuals. We took more than an hour. Although it was quite painful, I am now very content.Despite being really carefully packaged, it was surprisingly hefty.They also recommend some excellent lighting. It uses three Triple-A batteries per light.Although the directions were straightforward, I did not assemble the item according to their recommended method.The rest of the shelves are little over 15 inches, with the top shelf measuring just under 15 inches. This is important to know if, like me, you use it for statues.Overall, I'll buy another one, and the second time I assemble it, it should just take me 30 minutes.The situation will be OK if you take your time.

Although I no longer write reviews, I felt COMpelled to comment on this cabinet. Described in a single word? BRILLIANT.Once you figure out which piece fits where in the instructions, this cabinet is robust, stylish, and simple to assemble:PThe task should have required two men, but I only had one available, so I put it together by myself. BTW I'm 70. There was no need for concern there because the inside packaging was amazing. The delivery man showed me all the damage on the box and promised to note it in case the goods was impacted. Even portions of it were saved for eventual use as packing material. Can you tell that I really like this? The hinges are remarkable, and every hole and dowel matched up flawlessly. I'm already looking around the house for areas where I could use MORE "South Shore" furniture. Perhaps my bedroom furniture needs to be updated!? Hmmmmmmm!The back, lower kick-brace is too short and won't fully span the back, so I created some longer dowels to fix the issue. It doesn't show, so it's not a major matter, but I wasn't happy with Amazon's response that you should return the entire item. I don't think so! Just make sure EVERY item is in place correctly BEFORE starting to assemble it and throwing away the packing.

The packaging was effective at first. Despite the box having a hole in it, the foam and cardboard fulfilled their jobs. Cabinet was in excellent condition.Oh, and speaking about quick shipping for such a big, heavy product!The cabinet looks fantastic and performs almost precisely as I had hoped. superior caliber. sturdy wood Finding that is difficult.So, this is the one thing about which I was concerned. Nowhere could I locate the way the door opened in any of the images of this cabinet I could find or in my investigation. The door LATERALLY SLIDES open. In order for the door to slide to the right or left, the cabinet might be built on its side. So, if you're positioning this in a corner, be mindful of how the door will open. I messed up halfway through and had to flip the top and bottom pieces.
