UPDATE: After I contacted the seller about the problem I was having with the garment steamer, they promptly sent a replacement. I am happy with how quickly the new steamer arrived. superior customer care. My burlap window curtains' ability to be wrinkle-free made me even more impressed. Although burlap is famously difficult to de-wrinkle, this steamer performed beautifully. The ready indicator stopped blinking to signal that the steam was ready the following day when I plugged in my steamer to continue my curtain-defrizzing project, but nothing came out. I flipped it over, and after briefly steaming, it stopped. Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the little hose within the water tank had separated from the entrance, which prevented any water from being sucked into the device and, consequently, any steam from being produced. If there is no steam, the drapes will wrinkle. To my knowledge, the water tank does not separate so that I may reattach the hose accessory and my steamer will once more produce steam. I can't seem to find a way to get in touch with the vendor about this issue either. I am therefore really dissatisfied with this steamer, but if I can find a solution, I will be delighted once more. Once I figure out how to get in touch with the vendor with my concern, I will update my rating if they resolve the issue.

I recently purchased an iron, and while it does work well, it does take some time to set up, and after that, I have to struggle to angle it properly on the board. Seriously, when you add water, it initially seems quiet but soon begins to sound explosive. The steam extends quite a ways. Instead of inches, try almost three feet (1 meter). The instruction manual will state that this is only for cloth and not for people, which I must say is rather amusing. It worked when I applied it to a fresh piece that was wrinkled from shipping. This is rather powerful, lightweight, portable, and easy to use. Do not be deceived by the gentle, pastel colors. Despite its Fisher Price appearance, I wouldn't suggest letting a child use it without first showing them how. Once more, the steam stream is very strong. Having saying that, it won't burn anything as an iron would. Simply turn it off, unplug it, twist the switch off, and dump the contents. For use at home and on the go, very highly advised.
