What a sweet little drawing to create. Because my mother used to love tigers, I adore the design. I'll build this and frame it, then. The only issue is that it doesn't include all of the necessary elements, so I can't begin working on it just yet. I'm not sure if they were just absent when the set was put together, if they dislodged, or for some other reason. Apart than that, it's a gorgeous set. I just need to go out and get the extra items I'll need to finish it. Simply put, I'm concerned that I might be unable to match the missing color.

OMG I am overjoyed with my Art of Hummingbird 2 kit; it is just wonderful. Colors on floss are ideal. Gorgeous! even more lovely than the image suggests. contains 2 needles, which is quite useful! Although it is a stamping kit, it also includes a sizable guide for making it as a counted cross stitch if you had plain aida material. The kit is packaged in a durable plastic box with snaps that keeps everything tidy and organized while you use it. (Unlike another firm I bought a kit from, whose tiny kit had a glue stick enclosure—if I'm not careful, the floss gets stuck every time I pull it out and put it back.) I got in touch with Itstitch customer care to ask where I might buy 14ct aida fabric. They were excellent. replied within 24 hours with more information and assistance than I could have imagined. The magnitude of the project is the only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 in the "beginning" category. Without a doubt, the directions and floss color chart are understandable for a beginner. After reading some reviews, I was apprehensive to purchase this, but it turns out that the kit is excellent. In the past, I've always worked on counted cross-stitch projects, and if you make one mistake, it can mess up the entire thing, forcing you to rip out stitches. really frustrating A imprinted pattern is fantastic. I was delighted by the pattern's clarity and readability. especially at 61 years old. Running out of floss doesn't bother me either. The kit includes the DMC numbers for the floss, and I can simply buy extra for just 30 cents by running to Walmart or Michael's. Easy! As far as I can tell, the entire pattern just calls for standard full stitch, unless I'm reading it incorrectly, so I was perplexed when the directions specified "back stitch, quarter stitch, half stitch." This kit is beautiful—the colors, the layout, everything. I've been looking for something to occupy my time, and I'll definitely be buying from this company again.

First of all, everything arrived in good condition and with all the things. Needle, pre-sorted thread, written instructions, a pre-printed fabric, and a pattern. To help prevent it from knotting, it is advised to reduce the floss's length in half, which is what I did. I also cut the floss into three strands. Even though I had enough thread to finish it, I wouldn't say I had a lot extra! Therefore, if you're prone to making mistakes, use two strands or buy some more. Because I left some of the thread at home when I went on vacation, I did end up having to buy some of it. The colors are correctly matched, and the seller gives you the relevant dmc floss numbers.I worked on the project for two weeks straight, stitching for about five to six hours each day. Since mine did somewhat bend during the process, I advise getting a better needle. Although you are not have to use a hoop because the canvas is sturdy enough, I feel that it is quicker and easier to do so.Rinsing was the last step, which was simple but time-consuming. I started by filling my sink with warm water and a small bit of detergent as directed. The stamp started to wash out, and the water quickly became green. I reasoned that running water over it would help bring out more of the color before I let it soak, saving me time. In order to get the water to run clear, I continued to keep it under running water while sporadically adding a drop or two of detergent. I checked on it every 15 minutes after leaving it to soak at that point. After bathing for one entire hour, the color only began to *mostly* fade. Its title and the box with the color legend were partially visible. I wouldn't have expected to be able to have the extra space from the area outside the boundaries and would have expected to be able to frame it or mat it only revealing the insides of the guidelines, but the area inside came clean. Even if they were present, you wouldn't even notice!

Unintentionally, I purchased two identical Zinnia needlepoint kits. It ended up being a fantastic present bundle. One that I crocheted using a border of yarn I bought will serve as a cushion insert. The second one fits into the recessed top of a wooden trinket box that was made specifically for that use. They will be given to my mother as a set for Christmas. Working on these was delightful and soothing. They quickly reconciled. The hues are vivid. The instructions and accompanying chart are sufficient. This is not a stitch-by-stitch graph; rather, it is a shaded, numbered representation of the design. The chart and the 5x5 pattern both have the exact same size.I did run out of floss, so I had to order three more strands to finish the kit. Sending Dimensions an email makes it simple to inform them of what is required. They will mail them to me, they have told me. Similar to other kits, even expensive ones, there is never enough yarn or floss to create a decent basket weave stitch in the bigger background sections. Plan accordingly. I would advise using a proper needlepoint needle of a more typical length. When I was trying to truly stretch the amount of floss, the kit's needle's length was ideal. I discovered that using the needle I bought from our neighborhood needlepoint shop was more pleasant for my hands and fingers. If you pull or tug vigorously, the floss may be tough to separate. They must be gently coaxed out of their six-ply twisted strand. If you begin to tug, stop and loosen the knot if necessary. Working in well-lit conditions was also beneficial. The color names on several of the painted canvas were similar.

Since I haven't done cross stitch in a while, I had no idea that stamped kits existed. For the price, I chose to try the stamped kit even though I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it. I am very happy that I did!The color/pattern key is printed directly on the fabric, eliminating the need for me to carry around a paper pattern key when I'm out and about. In contrast to a paint-by-numbers, I'm sewing here rather than painting.I discovered that they provided a little bit more thread than enough, despite other kit buyers complaining that there wasn't enough to finish the project. Even though I don't have a ton of extra thread, I haven't yet been concerned that I'll run out before the job is finished. They DO provide the DMC number, so you could easily go to a craft store and get more thread if I do happen to run out.Despite being clearly a translation from another language, the directions are fairly easy to follow. Both marked canvas and non-stamped (blank or "counted") canvas are covered in the instructions.The canvas and thread are of high-quality, durable material. I only had one thread break, and I believe it was because I separated the threads improperly (perhaps I was a little too aggressive with it).The thread in this kit, in contrast to earlier kits I've bought, is pre-sorted on cards with the colors matching the relevant pattern number.There were also two needles in them.With this kit, you don't need an embroidery hoop because the canvas is rather firm and holds its shape as long as you don't pull the stitches excessively (and by excessively, I mean aggressively!) tight.I believe that the hours of delight I have already gained from this are truly unbeatable for the price.Even though the project isn't quite finished, I still wanted to publish a review.
