This was purchased for a project with my Sunday School class of children ages 3-5. They were astounded. The sizes of the feathers vary, but not significantly. It does have a small amount of black dye and will get on your fingers if you touch it frequently, but as I was wearing all black for my costume, this wasn't a problem. Uncertain if it will transfer to fabrics of other colors. However, the feathers have so far served their purpose for my outfit, which I absolutely like!

It was much less expensive to do it myself than to purchase brand-new feather wings, so I bought these to brighten up some 2-year-old kid angel wings that had lost feathers over time. I adore the variety and number of feathers, and they look fantastic. The feathers are well-shaped and fluffy.Only the smell bothers me. These feathers have an awful chemical odor. The white feathers with gold tips that I also purchased from Coceca had no odor at all. I'm not sure if it was just this particular batch or if it was a problem with this particular kind, but I'm letting them air out and it seems to be helping.Overall, I'm extremely happy!

Great price for all-natural peacock feathers—this is something to look out for when looking for pet toys because many feathers used for art can have a chemical coating that can harm your pet.When he saw what came out of the Amazon package, my cat Stormageddon's eyes opened wide and his ears perked up. He had previously played with peacock feathers and adored them, but since they cost $1 each at the neighborhood pet store, it was only a "occasionally" kind of treat. Although it doesn't first appear to be expensive, it quickly adds up when he completely destroys a feather. He ran riot pursuing it when I immediately pulled one out and began dragging it around.We have a cork ball dangle toy with a fake feather connected to the ball that he isn't too into, so I had an idea as he finished destroying the first feather. In order to attach four of these peacock feathers to the ball, I pulled out the hot glue gun, clipped the fake feather off, and did so. He already loves feathers, so between those and the way the freshly created toy bounces and rolls, he was in feline heaven racing after it. He usually participates in play for ten or fifteen minutes at a period before getting bored and laying down, going for a snack, or simply finding something else to look at or pay attention to. He was in a frenzy the entire hour and a half I was dragging and bouncing this thing around. He jumped up on the bed and promptly passed out when I finally put it away.I find the pricing of these items to be absurd, but they are a tremendous hit. I will definitely buy from you again; these feathers will become a regular fixture in our home.

This boa does not come out of the suitcase ready to wear. It resembles more raw materials for crafts projects because it features a length of corded string on either end. Which suited me just fine since I was replacing the Marabou feather on a cat wand. You have the option to add tassels or other embellishments to the ends if you are buying this to wear. Although there is a small bit of initial shedding and the feathers are fairly tightly linked to the center of the string, Miss Kitty has been unable to shred it at all despite her best efforts. I took a 6" length of the boa, cut it off, and used E6000 to glue the raw ends together so they wouldn't unravel. I then attached the 6" section to the plastic wand.
