First of all, I regret not having taken a before photo because my skin was so awful that I dared not expose it or swim. I occasionally need to take hydrocortisone 1%, especially in the winter, to stop nagging itching from unusually dry skin on my hands and legs. I once tried hydrocortisone 1% cream, and while it was somewhat helpful, it wasn't as effective as I had hoped.I was happy with the outcome when I used the ointment version. Compared to when using the cream, the alleviation lasts far longer. The ointment only has to be applied every three to four days.Ointments assist the skin maintain its natural fluids considerably better than do creams, despite the fact that they are a little bit greasier than the cream counterpart (though the cream is truly greasy too). Insect bites, especially those from spiders and mosquitoes, make me extremely sensitive. I have a sudden swelling that takes days to go gone. I got what appears to be insect bites on each finger. The images I've included were shot just one day apart. The image with the taupe nails is current, while the one with the white polish was taken last night. I used this cream three times today (the maximum allowed) after using it twice yesterday, and the change is very noticeable. The blisters are getting smaller and there is less inflammation. I don't itch all that much. In actuality, this cream virtually immediately stops the itching. It moisturises fairly good as well. The stench is somewhat unpleasant, but it doesn't stay, which is my main gripe. As soon as you massage it in, it disappears.I am overjoyed with this development. This cream has been of great assistance. I'll maintain applying three times daily till my fingers are fully recovered. A gel manicure or synthetic nails will never be done on me again!

I therefore mixed up a solution in a glass amber bottle using roughly a 1/4 benedry ointment to 3/4 water ratio. Although I haven't paid close enough attention to state with certainty that it brings them relief, it certainly seems to be helpful.BUT! I used this on myself today for the first time, and holy crap! That's why I'm writing this. It functions miraculously! I was out watering plants in shorts when I had my legs completely devoured by mosquitoes the entire time.
