Vive Crutch Bag - Pouch with Foam Hand Grip Pads - Tote for Broken Leg Crutches with Storage Pockets - Ergonomic, Orthopedic, Lightweight Carry On - Medical Forearm Crutch Accessories (Black) Review:

People with crutches definitely stink, let's face it. You are completely dependent on those around you for support because you are unable to carry even one thing from point A to point B. Well, not anymore. I just knew I needed to find anything to help out after my recent auto accident and when I learned I would need to use crutches for at least the next 4 weeks until my shattered leg was healed. The internet, Internet shopping, and Amazon did not even exist the last time I used crutches. Knowing that Amazon has products for almost everything in life, I opened an account right away and searched for crutch attachments. Crutch bag offerings were plentiful, I discovered. I chose the Vive for a number of reasons, including the fact that it featured an inner and an outer pocket, came with 2 hand wraps, and appeared to be simple to attach. In addition, all of the reviews and images I saw were positive. FREEDOM was delivered to the Amazon Smile Box two days later. As a property manager for a downtown office building, I must always have a few items with me when I visit a tenant space. I can now carry my own drink from room to room and I can carry a few essentials with me to work. I can now carry everything I need to be an almost fully functional person in life until the doctor says I can toss the sticks and walk on my own.Everyone I've encountered has remarked on how ingenious the small bag on my crutches is.I appreciate Vive making such a nice product.

Three sets of pads—light, medium, and firm—come with the grips. Simple foam is used for the pads; nothing fancy. Since most individuals don't generally place their entire body weight on the handles of their walkers, the foam is probably sufficient for most users. I can confirm that they will work for crutches because I've had several inquiries asking about this, however you might not find the padding to be suitable. This review is for anyone else who might be considering using these as crutches. I had two sets of crutches with handles that required more padding. Although the handles on one pair of crutches are made of high-quality rubber, I thought they could need a little bit more padding and moisture-wicking material. Although I clipped the pads so the cushioning was only on top since the grips were too big otherwise, the firm padding that was included with the grips functioned perfectly. The hand grips on the other pair of crutches are made of cheap foam rubber and could use a lot more padding because they hurt my hands. I didn't find any combination of foam pads for these crutches to be sufficient. In the end, I completely discarded the foam and replaced it with some gel pads I'd bought for forearm crutch handles. Much improved! Depending on your weight, hand size, and the quality of the foam or rubber in your hand grips, what works for one person may not work for another. While underarm pads and hand grips are sold together at Crutcheze, the hand grips are not sold individually. The descriptions for those do refer to "core foam" rather than "gel," so I assume they are comparable even if I haven't bought them to know whether the same foam is utilized there or not. Personally, I'd advise shopping for a set with gel cushioning rather than foam, especially if you use crutches for an extended period of time like I do. I've tried everything, including walkers, forearm crutches, and underarm crutches, but gel is the best option in my opinion.

I recently shattered my leg, underwent surgery, and woke up with a huge plaster cast covering it. "No bearing weight for 6 weeks," the doctor said. I was reluctant to use crutches out of concern that I would lose my balance and have to utilize my fractured leg to prevent a true fall. Until I was given the "all clear" to put weight on my leg, my husband bought me a walker. The typical handle covers that come with a walker literally felt like my hands were paralyzed with pain after just a few days. I started crying after using it for a week. I started looking online for cushioned or otherwise for walkers' handle covers, and happily I came across the Crutcheze Walker Padded Handled Grip Covers. LOVE THEM SO MUCH. They simply velcro on top of the current covers and are fixed securely in place. They are exactly the right amount of padding—not too much, so they don't feel big in your hands, and just enough to protect the bar as you cling on for dear life. They have kept my hands safe! In order to be ready for the next stage of my recovery, I went back and bought the crutch pads as well.

Pivit Crutch Foam Hand Grips | Gray | 2 Pack | Replacement Cushion Handles Kit Includes Metal Rods & Wing Nuts | Hand Pads for Underarm Crutches | Premium Padding Designed to Upgrade Not Just Replace Review:

The wing nut on my crutches kept backing off of the screw, so I had to replace the hand grips. This eventually caused the plastic beneath the foam to begin shaving off. Every time I held the crutches sideways to put them in and set them down in my car, shavings would splatter all over the place. They've been fantastic, however I have to be aware of the fact that the wing nuts that came with the new grips are doing the same thing.

Vive Walker Grips - Padded Hand Covers - Soft Cushion Padding Medical for Folding Rolling Wheelchair, Rollator Handle, Senior, Elderly Grippers - Crutch Handle Pads - Mobility Aid Hand Cushion Review:

I was overjoyed to get these. They are quite soft, of great quality, and well padded. They really improve the ease of using the walker for my elderly mother, who has tendonitis in both hands. Her tendonitis is further worse by gripping the walker handles too tightly and leaning on them for support. These grips allow her to maintain a less-tight grasp, and the cushioning lessens pressure on her hands. Well worth the money!

purchased to replace my mother's hurting wrists' walker handles. They are simple to install, they function great, and they greatly improve her walker's comfort.

Universal Crutch Hand Grip Covers - Luxurious Soft Fleece with Sculpted Memory Foam Cores (Black) … Review:

I adore the hue! The fact that they eventually grew to fit the size of my handles was fortunate because at first I thought they were too tight. I gave them another try after a couple of days and they fit well. I thought that was wise because I wouldn't want a loose grip. Now, a month after surgery, I occasionally want to alter my posture while walking, so I put them on the opposite end for a brief back stretch. But because I stretched them out, they are a touch too loose. My only concern right now is whether or not I want my second pair to have the same color. Or should I use a different tint to deceive my vehicle?I unequivocally advise these. They would probably quickly deflate if they weren't put together this manner, in my opinion. When I got them, I really didn't expect much more than adornment, but now the handle side feels wayyyy tooo firm for my delicate palms! Hahaha! Though true! PLEASE USE SHOES!PS: I'll reattach these to the handles where they already fit perfectly, and the new ones will attach to the bar portion where they currently fit perfectly.
