It's generally safe to boil your contact lens case, but check with the manufacturer first to be sure. Boiling the case will kill any bacteria that may be on it.
It is not recommended to store your contact lenses in a Ziploc bag because it does not allow the lenses to breathe. Contact lenses need to be stored in a clean, dry place in order to prevent them from becoming contaminated.
It's generally not a good idea to rinse your contact case with water. Water can contain bacteria and other contaminants that can lead to eye infections. Additionally, water can cause your contact lenses to swell and become uncomfortable. If you need to clean your contact case, use contact solution instead of water.
If you are in a pinch and need to store your contacts for one night, you can use eye drops. Simply remove your contacts and place them in a clean case filled with eye drops. Be sure to use a sterile saline solution, and not re-use the eye drops.

I was very happy with the quality and how promptly I received these. I was anticipating a much flimsier product for the price, but these are just as good as or even better than the ones I purchased from my optometrist's office. The coverings are completely detachable and screw top types (great for easy cleaning) Compared to caps that just pop up or off, these tops greatly increase the security of the cases. They won't break if I throw them in a drawer, my purse, or my baggage. Additionally, they are prominently marked with a L and R that are simple to spot at a look. The price and quality are unbeatable, especially for 12 sets. Amazing!

I adore these bags for contact lenses! I use monthly contact lenses, so having a year's worth available at a reasonable price is helpful. The cases are really robust and come in attractive colors (for us girly girls!). My lenses remain secure and clean every morning since I store mine on the bathroom sink. Next year, I'll surely buy another set again!

It is a case for contact lenses. It secures your contacts and is leak-proof. What else can I say about it? I'm simply bored and going through my purchases to make sure they don't show up when I'm surfing.

I therefore don't use contact lenses. I enjoy using acrylic paint on canvas board to create on-site sketches of my lengthy hikes. Why am I examining these instances for contact lenses? If you know anything about acrylics, you are aware that they quickly dry up when exposed to air. They are therefore challenging to employ in a "plein air" setting. My only option up until I started using these was to bring entire tubes of color with me. Not only is this a bit excessive—I only use small, 4x5-inch canvases to sketch out ideas for larger pieces that I complete at home—but it also adds significantly to the weight and girth of my already cumbersome hiking gear. Additionally, if they are jostled too much, there is a risk of the caps fracturing or the tubes rupturing.I just read an article by an oil painter who claimed that she used cases similar to this while mountain biking so she could record any ideas she might have. I made the decision to experiment the same with acrylics. I reasoned that if the seal was airtight, I could store acrylics in these cases for three to four days without worrying about them drying out.Today was my first opportunity to use them on the trail, and they met my expectations. The cases screw on firmly and perfectly seal. I filled them with paint last night, and this morning not even a thin film remained on any of the pigment piles. And throughout my hike, they were impenetrably leak-proof.I can now carry my entire ten-color palette around with me while adding almost no size or weight. I'm over the moon with these.I don't use contacts, as I previously mentioned, but I don't see how the advantages I've listed above wouldn't make these appealing to those who do.

Based on the reviews I've read, my wife purchased me this for my contact lenses, and I was curious and a little concerned. I didn't review it until I had used it in a number of different situations. Two of the lens holders, two sizable bottles, and a "TSA compliant" 3 oz bottle were included in the box I received. I use Air Optic Multifocals, which are disposable and should be opened once a month. You can see from the image that the lid is red and that a red/orange caution label is wrapped around it. Because you cannot use this the same way you would use regular lens solution, we want to make sure it sticks out to you. You place your lenses in this special cleaning solution and holding container overnight, and it cleans them using a "bubbling" motion that actually causes bubbles to develop. The drawback is that you must wear the lenses for the advised amount of time for the solution to neutralize. Once they are in, you are committed; you cannot perform a fast soak or leave them in for a few hours.First things first: this stuff works absolutely fantastically well at doing what it claims to. Your lenses will feel as new at the end of the month as they do at the beginning if you leave it in overnight (they say 6 and a half hours, but it really needs more like 8). This was crucial to me since, for the first two and a half years of wearing lenses, I eagerly anticipated getting new lenses at the end of each month because the discomfort of my lenses increased during the month. Because of this, they feel just as terrific on day 30 as they did on day 1. Never again will I manage without this item. You should be aware that it does not take the place of regular lens solution. For the fast soak, popping out a lens to clean it, etc., you need normal solution. This is not a brand-new solution, just a better cleaner. My personal opinion is that you need a product like Clear Care for routine cleaning, regular lens solution for brief soaks and times when you take lenses in and out, and a good rewetting solution for those days when lenses are being troublesome, even though my eye doctor's office didn't really do a good job of covering this in the "consult" I paid for. This contributes to a complete solution. You will pay a high price if you don't pay attention to the bottle you grab or if you disregard the warnings. It was entirely my fault because I was careless; one day, I grabbed this instead of my usual solution to quickly clean a lens. I washed my lens and put it back in my eye despite the fact that the container is covered in more warnings than you can possibly conceive, and those warnings do not understate the consequences. The discomfort and soreness lingered for a few days, and the pain was easily among the top 10 worst experiences of my life. You must allow them to soak because they are utterly serious. You should also be aware that I don't advise it for travel unless you can provide lengthy soak sessions. I routinely entertain guests while on business trips and take them out to supper or other social gatherings before rising early. I've let it run past the suggested soak time on the bottle and still suffered ranging from mild to heavy burning. On my most recent business trip, the severe scorching occurred after 7.5 hours of sopping, and it was approximately half as painful as the "rinsed and put back in" episode. The amount of time to soak tends to vary, but at home I usually soak for at least 8 hours without any issues. I'll just bring the standard holders and regular solution on my upcoming business trips. In conclusion, I believe that this stuff is necessary, but it also serves a specific function. It has a job; it is not a jack of all trades. Your lenses will last longer and be much more comfortable thanks to that work, but be aware of the restrictions and never disregard the cautions.

Such a fantastic product, this. I used to have to pack my contact case, eye drops, and solution bottle separately in a plastic bag because I travel virtually every weekend due to my regular travel schedule. Now that I can fit everything in this little container, I only need to carry the contact solution bottle separately and use the mini bottle to hold my eye drops. However, you could also put the solution in the micro bottle. I adore this, and it's so adorable that I gave one to a friend for her birthday; she uses it all the time, too.

My contacts are starting to vary more, thus this is exactly what I needed. The small window indicates which contact it is, and while the cases are smaller than usual, I don't mind. The feeling of organisation is improved, and most importantly, IT DOESN'T LEAK! I needed to bring this with me because I'll be travelling soon. I was worried that it could leak in my suitcase, but I can rest easy now.

These cases of touch are fine. I opened a handful, and a few of them had some blemishes. They do neatly close; they don't turn and come off the thread. The many colors are also pleasing. Although they fall short of the quality found in more expensive cases, the price is still good. I feel better about tossing these away after 30 days because you're meant to throw them away after that time. They're fine to store my contact lenses every night on my counter and get tossed out after 30 days. Instead of spending more money on more costly ones and having to throw them away, you feel better doing it. The only thing that matters is that you maintain a healthy contact wear regimen thanks to this bag of cases. It's fine that they came in a plastic bag.

Actually, I purchased these to aid in the mixing of paint. It was ideal to have multiple sets so I could dish out specific colours into my palette without contaminating my primary paint. Because of the suction, I was able to maintain it erect while painting without covering the table in paint. The tweezer components became my children' new favourite toy after I allowed them to play with them. Haha. In case anyone was seeking for something similar, I just wanted to share.

Before I had these tweezers, how did I use contacts? The tiny spoon works excellent for removing the lenses from the container whereas the suction cup is completely useless. The tweezers work great! Since I have long nails, I've always been concerned that I'll either scratch or pierce the lens of my eye. It's amazing that you get so many pairs of tweezers for the price.
Yes, you can take daily contact lenses out and put them back in as needed. There is no need to wait for a certain number of hours before taking them out or putting them back in.
Muay Thai is a form of kickboxing that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. It is a very effective martial art for self-defense, and many people train in Muay Thai for fitness and competition. While Muay Thai is generally safe, there are some risks associated with any contact sport. It is important to be aware of these risks and take precautions to avoid injury. Wearing contacts while participating in Muay Thai may increase the risk of eye injuries. It is important to consult with your doctor or optometrist to determine if contacts are right for you
No, you cannot put two contact lenses in the same eye. This would be uncomfortable and could lead to eye irritation or infection.
Yes, you can reuse old contact lens cases. Just make sure to clean them thoroughly with soap and water before using them again. You should also replace your contact lens case every three to six months.
If you have a case of contacts that you no longer need, you may be wondering if you can give them to someone else. The answer is usually no. Contact lenses are considered medical devices, so they can only be worn by the person for whom they were prescribed. This is because everyone's eyes are different, so what works for one person may not work for another. Additionally, contact lenses can harbor bacteria, which can lead to eye infections. For these reasons, it's generally not recommended to share contact lenses with anyone else.
