Last week, I assembled a pressurised air line system in my garage. I chose this Pneumatic Plus air and water separator machine and used 3/4" copper throughout. In comparison to the knob form, I like the T handle design for regulating air pressure. The regulator seems to function flawlessly, and changing the air line pressure is simple. An excellent line regulator that includes a water (condensate) collecting basin and a 5 micron (replaceable/cleanable) filter element. industrial quality typical of IR/ARO with a manual condensate drain. There were no instructions included with the item, but none are required. I only gave it four stars because of the terrible shipping time. The product has five stars. From the moment I placed my order, it traveled around 300 miles to Lexington, Kentucky, where it arrived in 11 days. It would have taken me less time to walk there and back. To power my CNC plasma table, I'm utilizing this in front of an IR refrigerated air drying.Recommended. It's not Super Saver Shipping.I wanted to mention that I have used this regulator/separator for the past two years without any problems. I twice removed and cleaned the particulate filter, so there is no clogged drain. I've run countless cubic feet of compressed air through the post-IR dryer. I receive dry, clean air to my Hypertherm 65, which is used for stand-alone and cnc plasma, through the coalescing filter and the IR.Locate the "o" ring and dab some vaseline on it before removing the clear bowl, I say. This makes it easier to reattach the bowl and create an airtight seat. According to the digital pressure readout on my IR, the regulator gage is accurate.Still, I give the regulator/filter 5 stars.

This was purchased for my workshop. There are two different hose connectors included, as well as a mounting bracket. At the same time, I also bought a 1->3 manifold. The air hose was directly attached to the regulator, and I connected the manifold to it using an NPT to NPT couple. Two points: To attach the mounting bracket, you must spin off a ring on the top. You must life up on the top knob and then spin in order to adjust the pressure. To lock, press down on it.Because the force feedback on the knob is a little weak, I awarded it a 4 instead of a 5. The first time I tried to use it, it felt broken to me. It is also extremely finely adjustable, so it takes a few spins to get the pressure where you want it.

It is really great quality for the cost. It comes with two quarter-inch compression fittings and functions as it should. The only thing that might be improved is the thin plastic used for the air pressure settings, which could be made a little better overall.

Nicely done! I ultimately purchased a second one to place near my compressor, ahead of the auxiliary air tanks. The other one is adjusted to 90 psi for usage with my Aircats and is located after the aux tanks. I have two filters before the air reaches my tools in this way.These machines have extremely precise gauges. Please, please, please...always use Teflon tape and be sure you apply it properly at every fitting.Because of user mistake, I detest reading negative evaluations of products I adore. When using Teflon tape, there are right and bad ways to do it. Wrap it around at least four times while watching videos. I usually use six wraps, and I never get leaks.Teflon tape is inexpensive, so don't skimp on it and don't hold it against the manufacturer if they do!
