Lesson learnt for me: don't place the bottle in the bottom rack of the dishwasher any longer! The top of my Nalgene's bottle became somewhat melted when it dangled into a dishwasher heating coil during the drying cycle, but the remainder of the bottle was fine. I decided to investigate online "just in case" the tops were offered separately after being disappointed that the bottle spilled with the cracked cap. I was ecstatic to see the top on sale, and it fit exactly so there were no leaks! Additionally, replacing the old cap with the new one was quite simple to do. Thanks!!!

I recently learnt about hot cubing, which involves piping hot wort into a closed environment and allowing time for the wort to drop to yeast pitching temperature instead of cooling it down immediately. This technique is fantastic, and I recently utilized it. The time and water savings compared to using an immersion chiller are roughly 30 minutes.I really like this 5 gallon Hedpack. To prevent oxidation as the wort cools, it is quite simple to squeeze out all the air with a little push on the flexible plastic. Even so, it's sturdy, making it simple to move with the handle to any location you desire.The hop timetable is one thing you need to take into account. You should adjust so that any hops that will last 15 minutes or less go into the Hedpack because your wort will stay hot/warm for a lot longer. This has the minor drawback that a hop spider cannot fit through the opening, therefore I used muslin hop bags to minimize the trube. The hop sediment will merely need to be dealt with when you wrack the cooled wort to a carboy/bucket for fermentation if you don't have hop bags.

Compared to the standard Lexan version of the identical Nalgene bottle, this bottle is lighter. Although this one is preferable for hiking, the Lexan is certainly considerably more durable and practically indestructible. Compared to Lexan, this bottle only saves you around 3 ounces in weight, but I carry two of them because spreading out many modest weight savings throughout the day rather than making one huge one is the best way to lessen your load. Although there are lighter alternatives (such as disposable Gatorade bottles) than this HDPE bottle, I also need a bottle that will withstand abuse, and this one fits the bill. I am confident that I can carry water until the finish of my walk. This is a wonderful option because it is durable and less in weight.

I frequently acquire bronchitis due to my asthma. The coughing spells can last for several weeks. When that occurs, I can easily carry enough cough syrup in my purse with the help of these tiny bottles to get me through the day. I don't need to carry a separate measuring cup or spoon because the measurement lines on the side of the bottle do it for me. I simply swig directly from the bottle. I have to make rent, so I can't afford to miss a month of work.

Due to our allergies, my mother and I frequently utilize vials. However, we have grown so tired with online retailers. I've had vials that are just plain, ugly cardboard without any lot numbers or signs that they were created in a lab. One of the worst items we've ever gotten was packaged in cheap, fading cellophane.These are so lovely! clear, expert labeling. Lot identifiers. extremely neat and precise presentation. This appears to have come from a hospital or lab. Reordering soon!

I have many 5 gal bottles that use small, big threaded, and then the sort that just snaps on caps for my reef tank and RODI for drinking water. Two of the smaller threaded bottle caps went missing several years ago for unknown reasons. I had no idea bottle caps were available for purchase on Amazon, and I was astonished by how cheap they were. I also find it hard to understand why someone would give bottle caps, of all things, a negative review. There are only 3 types, so measuring the top shouldn't be too challenging, right? Hey, find someone who can read a measuring tape if you don't! Don't assign blame for your shortcomings to others.
