You can put a sanding disk on a grinder, but it will not work as well as a dedicated sander. The disk will wear out quickly and the results will be poor.

The 160-piece bundle of orbital sandpapers in a range of grits was excellent. I utilized a variety of grits and was pleased with their quality, especially their exceptional pricing. Additionally, I am happy that the size is appropriate and that these hook and loop sanding dscs function well with my Ryobi. They adhere quite well. This fits my ancient Bosch 3283DVS just right! I'm very happy I was able to receive the sander pad replacement. I despised tossing away a decent sander since it had such a simple issue—it needed a new sanding pad. And since this pad is the stiffer, denser pad kind, it pairs perfectly with the replacement sander I had purchased at the time the issue occurred, which had a softer pad. For rounder edges and softer woods, a softer pad is recommended. For hard woods with pronounced grain, like oak, a firm pad is recommended since otherwise, sanding would leave the grain structure seeming three-dimensional rather than flat.The good: According to the box the component came in, it fits perfectly and is a genuine Bosch part.Sanding hard woods with a distinct grain structure requires a pad that is harder than the one that came with my sander originally (but still with some "give").well-made and of high caliber.No drawbacks that I can perceive.

These Roloc disc pad holders are quite functional. The 3/8" arbour fits in a die grinder without any problems and is true to size. Being able to quickly swap them out by simply twisting off the pad saves a tonne of time. The variety pack comes in a good selection of sizes and has various items on each one that can be switched out as needed. Overall, I think these are a decent value and would suggest them.

These are useful for all the metal I polish. They are lovely to use for polishing and sanding quartz for ornamental jewelry. I took a 1/4 inch shaft and cut it down to the.185 inch needed to fit my larger Dremel tool, which hasn't been used much lately because the bit for it has become nearly impossible to locate, and even then, the Dremel bits were incredibly expensive. This offer is well worth the money paid and then some. Wet sanding performs effectively on the coarser grits. But keep in mind that these are paper-backed adhesives attached to the "velcro" that eventually adheres to the bit. They function well up to that point, but they wear out more quickly when wet than while dry.

These Sanding Discs Pad Kit keep up well, give ideal quality, and have remarkable lifespan. They perform just as well as any other brands I've ever used. These wonderful small sanding discs fit into nooks and crevices better than a standard sander. I got them since the only orbital sander I had was larger and couldn't fit in any small or tight locations. These eliminate the need for me to hand-sand those little places. There are various types of sandpaper included in the kit. They are simple to attach to a drill, but you should make sure they are well fastened. Mine kept coming loose until I really twisted it on. They make working on tiny projects so much easier, thus they were absolutely worth the purchase!

My DeWalt sander performed excellently with these pads. The discs clung to the pad quite nicely when I replaced it. Both the selection and the price were excellent. I previously made a mistake and purchased 5 hole disks instead of 8 hole disks, which had a significant impact on the dust collection. The package arrived on schedule, in good shape, and with a helpful plastic bag that had a zip closure.
If your sanding pads are not sticking to your sander, there are a few things you can do to fix the issue. First, make sure that the pads are clean and free of any debris. Next, check to see if the pads are properly aligned with the sander. If they are not, they will not be able to grip the sander correctly. Finally, make sure that the pads are tight on the sander. If they are loose, they will not be able to grip the sander correctly.
To keep sandpaper on an electric sander, you will need to use a backing pad. A backing pad is a round, flat disk that goes between the sandpaper and the sander. The backing pad will have a hole in the center that is the same size as the arbor on the sander. To attach the sandpaper to the backing pad, you will need to use double-sided tape or adhesive sandpaper.
You'll know you've sanded enough when the wood is smooth to the touch and the edges are slightly rounded. If you're sanding by hand, be sure to use a light touch so you don't remove too much material.
If the velcro on your orbital sander is worn out, you can replace it with new velcro. You will need to remove the old velcro first. Use a putty knife to pry the velcro off of the sander. Once the old velcro is removed, clean the surface of the sander with a damp cloth. Then, apply the new velcro to the sander. Press down on the velcro to make sure it is securely attached.
Orbital sander pads typically last between 20 and 40 minutes before needing to be replaced.
Sanding discs typically have holes in the center so that they can be attached to a power drill or other power tool. The holes help to keep the disc in place while it is spinning at high speeds.
