Since my review will be the first one published on these chairs, I am excited to write it. They were delivered on 9/18/15 instead of the anticipated dates of 9/17/15 to 9/22/15. To my pleasant surprise, the chairs' backs have a purple or eggplant sheen to them that matches the draperies in my dining area. In person, they are unquestionably more attractive than in the internet image. I couldn't be happier with the set and ordered the table to go with it.

A great pantry-style storage arrangement for my kitchen. Despite being strong, the sides are made of particle board, so I deducted one rating for the quality. It looks nice and is reasonably priced for the quality. You won't have any trouble constructing this if you're the kind to forgo installing IKEA furniture. The step-by-step instructions from IKEA assume that you have some general knowledge of how the challenging elements are used, so if you find them challenging, building this unit can be a challenge.

I made a few minor adjustments, including adding a background paper, holes for lights in the back, and new knobs. Overall, it's been a wonderful small addition to my living area. I've put together a LOT of things similar to this over the years, but this one had a twist. The cam lock posts were first installed too deeply by me. But no matter how hard I tried, I was unable to get them to "grip" and lock. Just be careful not to do that, or then it won't ever be strong. But it's a terrific small piece with a lot of style for the price! fantastic for a small liquor cabinet!

Putting this together surprised me in a good way. When you purchase one of those cabinet/shelving kits, the materials are of a high caliber that you might not always anticipate.The wood dowel, screws, and additional hardware were of high quality. The wood itself is rather excellent, and instead of being just a laminate overlay for the color, it genuinely smelled like stain (which has since vanished). Although I didn't read the measures and laid them out to see, it's not quite as huge as I had anticipated. You should be able to move it simply in the future because it comes together in two pieces. I put it together in about an hour, but to make sure the screws and dowels were secure, I also used wood glue. Installing some LED accent lights in the shelves would likely look excellent.If you had a bathroom with adequate space and a corner to install it in, I think it would probably be rather wonderful.

It arrived in two pieces and was carefully wrapped. relatively simple to put together. If two people are putting things together, it will be simpler. The only thing I can think of that would have improved it is if the directions had contained words rather than simply pictures. For those with poor vision, it may be challenging to follow instructions. I had to work pretty hard to determine the orientation of the photo using the small hole markers.

It took 75 minutes to open the delivery, which contained two boxes with a wad of tape inside the inner one and 82 strong brass staples. In China, they pack really seriously:) The most of it was put together by myself, which isn't terrible considering my age and Parkinson's disease. When we put the higher shelves and doors on the lower portion before moving it into the kitchen, I required my nephew. Overall, I like it; nevertheless, the makers cannot be faulted for not making it a little bit deeper from front to rear. They inform you what size it is, and it firmly holds my microwave and fits precisely in the space between the stove and the refrigerator. The item, in my opinion, was reasonably priced, came in good packaging, and had clear instructions for BOTH assembly and the hardware. A nice touch was that each piece of wood had its number marked on it with a sticker, and the quantity of each type of hardware was indicated on the instruction page. So far, Home Source Industries has performed admirably. If it fails, I'll write again later. 10/26/12

Because there are just cabinets above the sink for dishes, we needed something to store food in the kitchen. Additionally, I needed a drawer to store my toaster oven and a drawer for dish towels. On Amazon, I looked at every comparable alternative, and they all had some really bad ratings. So I made the decision to just buy the cheapest one I liked and do it. Cheap crap is preferable to pricey junk in my opinion.The item was packaged neatly and arrived swiftly, despite the box being a little scuffed up. There were no missing parts or broken items. As I was removing parts out of the box, I had a good chuckle as I thought back to the review where it was mentioned how the styrofoam made such a mess. Would you rather they didn't use Styrofoam since this contraption has glass doors? When I was through, I folded the box back up and carried it outside to the garbage with all the material inside. I simply cut the box open and lifted each board out, carefully wiping them off over the open box to remove the minute loose particles. Simply exercise some common sense.My first piece of sound advise is to avoid starting to put things together at 11 p.m. like we did. With a 15-minute lunch break in the middle, my spouse and I finished the project in 4 hours. With all of the hardware, there is a lot of pre-assembly required. Although there were no major issues, such as missing predrilled holes, some of the holes for the wooden dowels were a little too large, so we just placed pieces of toilet paper in them until the dowels fit snugly. Although wood glue would have been preferable, we weren't going to run to the store in the middle of the night to get glue.Even if the directions at times seemed confusing, I believe that anyone with reading and comprehension skills equivalent to those of the eighth grade should be able to follow them. They were not at all as difficult to understand as others have claimed. I think the people who are complaining about this cabinet are simply too unqualified to be making their own furniture. Overall, we're happy with the outcome. It is spacious without being cumbersome and looks fantastic in our kitchen. The drawer tries to catch since we were unable to get the screws to go flush against the wood, but this is the only problem. All you have to do is grab it firmly.I only awarded it four stars because I was let down by the fact that the handles were made of plastic. At the very least, offer me reasonably good handles if you're going to sell me cheap particle board.Edit: I just saw that we installed the backing upside down because the precut hole is much too high. However, since my toaster oven has a rounded back and can accommodate a full-sized pizza, it doesn't matter to us because I didn't want the cord to cross it in the middle anyway. The cable is on the side where we cut a little hole with a tool knife so it can run straight back and out rather than up and over the bubble at the back of the oven.
