This astonished me every time it arrived, and I paid $20 for it at a discount. The addition of the rechargeable system marks the main distinction between this and the Gen 1 model. Two 18650 lithium-ion batteries are utilized (included are 2 protected Ultrafire branded and "4200mAH" labeled units). The included batteries held up to heavy use and lasted the entirety of a 3-day camping trip without needing to be recharged, however I have not measured their actual capacity. The light matches or exceeds the brightness of my 260 lumen flashlight while covering an area that is more than four times as large. Even while it's not quite as bright as my 1000 lumen Nitecore MH12 with diffuser, it still performs well and is a fantastic bargain considering that it costs less than a third as much and has substantially longer running times on the brightest level.The SUBOOS Camping Light is one of the most versatile things I've ever owned. The light can be powered by one or two batteries. You can get longer run periods with two batteries while maintaining the same performance with just one. When utilizing a single battery, it can be installed correctly by inserting it into either slot. The lamp has a micro USB connector and cord that enables USB-powered battery charging. For my nightly excursions, I required some navigation lights for my Colorado XT, a tiny inflatable pontoon boat. I got a set of red, green, and white Bright Eyes lights as well as a pack of two white lights because I didn't want to hard-wire the lights to my trolling motor batteries. They were delivered on time thanks to Always Quality Plus Products' quick service.The silicone loops appear like they would fit around tubes ranging in diameter from 1 inch to roughly 1-1/2, and they fit around my 1-1/8" OD frame tubes with the provided loop clip. Although the flexible silicone coating around the hard plastic light module does not completely seal it against water, it does a good job of dissipating splashes and mist. The four-position switch can be set to blink quickly, blink more slowly, blink steadily, blink again, or turn off. They included two extra CR2032 button cells for each light in addition to the batteries already fitted, which was a wonderful addition.My first interaction with the maritime police boat in my neighborhood went really well (Southern Alabama, USA). He commended me for carrying my personal flotation device (PFD), gave me some advice on my hip waders, and stated he was fine with the port and starboard lights but preferred that I have a different stern light. He advised me to mount a white light with 360-degree visibility higher than the other lights because I had placed the white lights in the back near the trolling motor. Now that I have my 360-degree anchor light, I can change lures at night with the help of two white Bright Eyes lights pointed inward.I will purchase a second set of these lights to have around as spares because they have served me well.

It was purchased on Amazon, arrived quickly, and is easy to use and of good quality and durability. This is a very brilliant thing. When I accidentally gazed at one flash while testing it, I saw spots for a while. This is much more than a simple flashlight. Holding above your line of sight is therefore required, after which it is okay. I bought this because, when we tried to use standard flares for flare guns on July 4th, the bulk of them didn't work. (Excellent, over 50% of safety equipment failures! That is unacceptable because we travel a great distance and stop in remote locations.) I appreciate the fact that it is dependable, safe, and does not need to be renewed frequently at a high cost. When we cruise, I keep it in my ditch bag so that it may be used for the dingy as well. If you end up in the water, you can also bring it with you. Given that there is a higher likelihood of getting into problems in a tiny vessel, I'll definitely end up purchasing another for the dingy. All that is left to do is stock extra C batteries on the boat.In an emergency, do you really want your visitors or children attempting to ignite fireworks on your combustible boat while you are focused on repairing the damage or navigating the vessel? Try playing with your customary flares before making a choice. Even under ideal circumstances, they are hazardous.

We live in the country without sidewalks or street lights, so I use these lights to put the harnesses on my dogs before our winter evening walks. The lighting is really strong. These lights are excellent. Each one comes with a little screwdriver and a small Velcro band and is packaged in its own box. I have already fastened one of the clip-on lights to my purse because they are simple to operate. Being noticed is essential now that the days are growing shorter once more, especially when crossing a parking lot to get to one's car, walking the dog, etc. The lights are quite bright and have three settings. This small lamp kit is excellent. However, many people have questions regarding it. I'll attempt to address all of your concerns in my review, including how (and how effectively) the batteries and power bank function, how charging works, and how this lantern kit differs from or is similar to others like it. After purchasing the lantern from a different seller, I also had some concerns. To find out what I can and cannot do, what is safe for the lantern, and what I should only attempt with a fire extinguisher nearby, I investigated and tried the lantern. I'm happy to say that my house is still standing and that my lantern still functions despite everything.THE BENEFITSRechargeable 18650s, Alkaline AAs, rechargeable (NiMH) AAs, or a combination of these batteries are available. Grandparents are permitted to use NiCd batteries. These are among of the greatest batteries you can get included in one of these lantern packages, even if I haven't personally tested the SUBOOS 18650 battery capacity. Others have and found that they are approximately 2300mAh apiece. Based on my testing, the typical SUNCN batteries appear to be around 1700mAh. (See below for more on batteries and battery alternatives.)Power bank with a limited capacity. (I go into more detail about this below, but for Galaxy S 5 and newer and iPhone 6 and newer, you'll receive roughly one cell phone charge, and frequently more for older phones—that is, provided you're not using the batteries to run the light!) Nevertheless, it's plenty to both illuminate your path and marginally extend the functionality of your phone during your 2AM Pokemon Go excursions. Even when crossing major crossings blindly, you may utilize the red strobe light option to scare off oncoming traffic.It is around the size of a 20-28 oz. can of food, weighs less than a pound, and produces about /- 180 lumens of light, which is about correct for the quoted amount. Additionally, by opening and shutting the lantern, the light output may be altered. Except for the Imperial military under Emperor Palpatine, none of these $5–$30 lights are high-end or military grade. But the quality of this lantern's outward construction caught me off guard. I'm unable to comment on internal structure. However, it was unquestionably of greater quality than the $15 solar lantern I had tested and sent back.THE CONS—- It works well as a lantern. It's not much of a power bank, to be honest. The good thing is that you may purchase your own 18650s to increase your power bank's capacity if you need it. The bad news is that you'll pay more for those, and a specialized power bank is a better option. If you're searching for a portable light, you might also want to think about purchasing a solar-powered USB power bank.—- I don't think the lack of a storage compartment on the charging cord is *that* awful, but it is a drawback for some, especially if you're trying to charge devices that use micro-usb. It won't help anyway if you're trying to charge an iPhone. I show how to MacGyver the cable around the lamp in my photos. However, I advise removing the 18650s from the bottom so you may store the cord there if someone really, really needs to store the cord. Just don't hold it against me if it truly happens. It's not that horrible for those of us who rarely charge micro-usb devices. We just require it to charge the lantern, which is something we rarely do while traveling. A compromise is the small size. —-

sweet device sweet value I have a nasty habit of taking my numerous small sailboats out in the evening to cruise along happily in the breeze. The Coast Guard hasn't noticed me yet, but maybe that's because I was invisible. it is NOT advantageous.This is the ideal answer because I wince at the idea of hard wiring two Hobie Cats, two dinghies, a canoe, and a kayak. I don't even care if I have to replace them every season because the entire set is only $20!!!Here are a few pictures showing how I configured the bow lights on my Hobie One Nine Hawk. It consists of an HDPE fertilizer measuring cup that has been turned upside down, a hole drilled into the bottom, and a loop of string with a small carabiner inside that simply clips to the bow line padeye. Put enough tension on the string to keep it from rotating (a dab of silicone caulk around the cup's base would help). Since this is meant to be removable, let it dry before installation, then tie it off. Voila! arrow lightsThe mast head light runs directly through the head of the sail, while the stern light clips to my rudder assembly. The sail is sleeved and lacks the obvious halyard or plate (which will be used for the catamarans), but there is a strap that functions just well. Be imaginative! They can be adjusted and are very adaptable! There are countless ways to mount them, including string, electrical tape, and pvc pipe.
