Premium Boat Scuff Erasers | Magic Boating Accessories for Cleaning Black Streak Deck Marks and More Review:

WOWW!!! This item defies description! Since I purchased this boat, I have purchased a variety of cleaning chemicals to clean it and remove stains all over the boat, to the point where I gave up thinking there was no other option but hiring a reputable detail business. I recently came across this product through a "Amazon suggested email" and decided to give it a try. WOWWWW!!!!! I'll just let the images do the talking! I'm not sure how it works, but this would make your boat appear brand new. It not only removes the scratch or mark, but it also gives it a shine similar to when you wax it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product to every boat owner out there! Don't pay for pricey detailing businesses when you can remove 90% of the crap on your own using a device like this. I'm placing a second pack order now!

303 (30306) Aerospace Protectant, UV Protectant for Boats and Patio Furniture, 32 fl. Oz(package may vary) Review:

They have a fantastic product, I must say. The 303 Aerospace Protectant is fantastic for rubber trim and tires, in my experience.I have a restored pickup, and when I put 303 on the rubber trim, it stays nice and black, and No Black comes off on my towels when I wipe it down or wash it as it used to before using 303. Yes, it gradually disappears over several months, but it lasts longer and performs better than I had anticipated.Wow, it's my new best friend on tires. I don't follow their advice, but my method is effective.I use a lot of 303 and don't wipe it dry like I'm supposed to. I review it several times before turning it on for the night. The following day, "wash it Dry."By wiping it dry, there is no tackiness and I appreciate the faint sheen, which makes it seem to soak in. The dirt road where I live has been magnesium chloride treated, and nothing sticks to the 303. Any rubber that gets a tiny bit of dust washes off easily and retains its brand-new appearance and faint gloss for months!I wanted the 303 Aerospace so much that I purchased the Marine UV, but they sent the Aerospace instead. However, someone made it right. If my technique works for you, try it on a tire or trim and let me know; just be sure to wipe it down the next day.

Star Brite Instant Hull Cleaner - Clean Stains & Scum Lines On Boat Hulls Easily & Effortlessly Review:

AWESOME cleaner! My hull was severely blackened after just two days in the river, which is why the black river in Michigan is so named. I conducted an online search and tried everything, including Windex for christ's sake, deck cleaner, boat cleaner, hull cleaner (another brand), acetone (recommended online), isopropyl alcohol (hey, acetone was recommended — why not give it a try?), Mequire's RV/Boat oxidation remover, which removed oxidation from the area around the cover's snaps but didn't touch the hull stain. Actually, the deck cleaner had some, albeit minor, impact. Then I discovered endorsements about this product. I put on some rubber gloves (WEAR GLOVES!!!) and poured some on a sponge; it worked like a magic eraser, erasing the stain where I wiped it. My 22-foot-long Searay looked fantastic once more after only a short period of time spent wiping the whole bottom of the hull. Ready for waxing after being hosed off (be sure to rinse it well! (which hopefully will reduce the need to clean the hull). VERY VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Meguiar's M4364 Marine/RV Boat Wash, 64 Fluid Ounces Review:

We used to use Meguiar's Car Wash to clean the exterior of our 22-foot wake boat, and we recently ran out because the bottle lasted so long. We discovered that Meguiar's makes a unique Boat Wash when perusing the maritime store. Perfect!!We placed our order with confidence that it will be a high-quality item. We were not let down! When we combined it with water, the first thing we noticed was how many bubbles it produced as we scrubbed our boat clean. Have you ever used a car or boat wash that started out bubbly before going flat? With this product, it did not take place! We repeatedly dipped our scrub brush into the bucket, but the liquid never lost its intense sudsiness. We were pleased with the quality and anticipate using this product for many more washes. Highly advised for boat owners who take pride in maintaining the appearance of their vessels.

STAR BRITE Snap & Zipper Lubricant + Protectant - Marine Grade Anticorrosive, Non-Toxic & Non-Staining Lube Review:

It's a good thing to have this zipper lubricant. I have a couple of vintage, good-quality leather coats with verdigris-showing brass zippers. They had a shaky operation as a result.I ran some Q-Tips dipped in this lubricant up and down each zipper on both sides until the zipper's entire length was free of debris. The zippers now look and function much better because the muck was removed and was replaced with lubrication.A tip. To prevent the lubricant from spreading elsewhere while applying this lube to clothing, use a small amount and apply it gently before softly wiping the zipper. (Though if it did spread a little, it wouldn't be likely to cause much harm.)Follow-up. My wife's handbag's brass zipper was stuck. I thus placed a tiny dab of this lubricant in the zipper teeth in three or four locations and dispersed it around by running the zipper up and down many times. It worked when the excess was lightly wiped off.

Attwood Corporation 11401-4 Pontoon Winter Storage Block, Set of 4 Review:

To make it easier for locals to repair their seawalls and docks, the lake is periodically reduced. About two months ago, I bought and put into use the Attwood 11401-4 Pontoon Storage Block (4000-lbs). They are perfectly functional. 22' Bentley pontoon with 115 Mercury outboard. The surface is level and generally stable.

303 Products 30674 Marine & Recreation Fabric Guard - 1 Gallon Review:

The Ikea Ektorp white slipcover sectional is located in the sunroom next to the pool area in our holiday rental. Even though we have two covers to switch out, the regular problems brought on by kids, spills, and vacation fun still required CONSTANT washing. Although we are delighted that guests are enjoying our property, this is life, and having to pre-treat and remove stains every 4–7 days can be tiresome. I wanted to try to preserve our previous version for as long as possible because IKEA changed the fiber for the slipcovers (they are no longer 100% cotton) and bleaching is not possible on the new fibers.I tested this out to see if it would help prevent color transfer and give visitors time to clean up spills before they sink in because there are frequently wet bathing suits and food stains. In order for spills to be cleaned off the bigger jute rugs as well, we also placed Dash

Boat Bling Hot Sauce Premium Hard Water Spot Remover w/High-Gloss Wax Sealants, 32 oz. Review:

There are a lot of conflicting opinions about this stuff. Some claim it works, while others claim it's a pure financial waste. Because of the unfavorable reviews, I was dubious and nearly decided against buying it. It works amazingly well for me! I got it mostly for my just purchased outboard engine. My black motor has a lot of water spots on it. This hot sauce is simple to use because it just only a tiny bit to work its magic, wipes off easily, and leaves a rich shine. You should be fine to go if you use micorfiber and follow the instructions. A bottle should easily last the entire summer, in my opinion. It does have a faint citrus scent and a tinge of vinegar. If your boat is newer, as some reviewers state, this product will work really well because it is not simply vinegar.

Star Brite Ultimate Aluminum Cleaner & Restorer - Safely Clean Pontoon Boats, Jon Boats & Canoes Review:

I used this solution on an aluminum yacht that spent 25 years tucked away in a thicket by the water. Spray on, wait five minutes, rinse, and repeat, but this time scrub with a Star Brite red pad (available separately) and then repeat the rinsing process. Immediately put an end to the aluminum's rusting. But in this instance, the corrosion was so severe that it needed to be manually taken out.Only pressure washing was done in Pic 1. Take note of the severe rusting. After using Star Brite, picture 2 was taken. The white, crusty oxidation is still present despite the death of the corrosion. The coloring has mostly vanished. Now, the aluminum is nearly white. Pic 3 depicts the Scotch Britted portion of the boat; the oxidation still needed to be physically removed. The Scotch Brited area is now prepared for the polisher. Pic 4 shows the polisher's first pass after applying Met-All.As you can see, pressure washing, Star Brite, Scotch-Brite pads, and polishing were the first two steps in a four-step procedure. Not exactly a performance, but at least nobody will laugh us off the lake. This Star Brite is really harsh and does a lot of damage to aluminum, yet it must be rejected in comparison to many products from auto parts stores that appear mild and ineffectual. Wear protective eyewear, a respirator, and keep a running hose at the ready.

Salt Away SA32M Concentrate Kit with Mixing Unit, Salt Removing Cleanser, 32 Fl. Oz. Review:

I've been using Salt Away's cheaper substitute for a while now. I am quite angry with the mixing units from the other firms, but I am satisfied with the less expensive solution. They've all (at best) leaked horribly, or frequently they've just blown apart under strain.I made the decision to give the Salt Away mixing machine a try and purchased the entire set so I could also test the remedy. The Salt Away mixing machine has a much nicer feel to it and is unquestionably built better. Throughout use, the device didn't leak a drop. I credit this to better plastic and the fact that the O-ring seal is kept in place in a groove rather than being simply put into the lid and squeezed when the lid is tightened, as O-rings should be.I can't guarantee the effectiveness of the solution, but when I ran it through the engine, it did create a significant amount of foam, which the less expensive option did not. Does this make sense? I'm not sure, but if the mixing unit's quality is any indication of the solution's quality, then this is a better product. Despite the higher price, which won't be more than $50 for my full boating season, I'm staying with Salt Away moving ahead. Spending money wisely on two rather pricey engines!

Does WD 40 damage fiberglass?

WD-40 is a petroleum-based solvent, which means it will dissolve many types of materials, including fiberglass. That's why it's important to be careful when using WD-40 on or near fiberglass surfaces. If you get WD-40 on your fiberglass, wipe it up immediately with a clean, dry cloth.

How do you get grime off a boat?

There are a few ways to get grime off a boat. You can use a pressure washer, a garden hose with a spray nozzle attachment, or a bucket of soapy water. You can also use a putty knife or a wire brush to scrub the grime off.

How much does it cost to clean the bottom of a boat?

It costs between $100 and $200 to clean the bottom of a boat. The cost depends on the size of the boat and the type of bottom.

How often should the bottom of a boat be cleaned?

Is car wash soap OK for boats?

Most car wash soaps are designed to be gentle on car finishes. However, they may not be ideal for boats. Car wash soaps often contain waxes and other ingredients that can leave a film on boat surfaces. This film can trap dirt and make it harder to clean the boat next time. If you must use car wash soap on your boat, be sure to rinse it thoroughly afterwards.

Is it OK to pressure wash a boat?

Assuming you're talking about a boat hull, the answer is generally yes. You should, however, avoid using a high-pressure setting on the washer and hold the wand at least 12 inches from the hull. Also, be sure to use a biodegradable soap designed for pressure washers.
