This is not my first AmazonBasics purchase. First I bought the white dishes (and I love them...very nice quality.) Then I purchased the correction tape. After that I bought AA, AAA and C batteries. I also got some AmazonBasics extension cords. Then I bought these clips. Obviously, I wasn't afraid to purchase them because of the quality of the other AmazonBasics products I have purchased. I'm extremely pleased with the AmazonBasics line and I hope Amazon continues to expand it.

I purchased these to use as money clips for cash transactions at work. I also clip together all of the cash for the deposit while I’m reconciling the day’s financials. That way I don’t lose any money if I’m having a clumsy day.
Best feature is that they’re well constructed. I’ve used a bunch of clips that felt like they were going to break apart the first time I used them. Some of them did. These ones feel solid, like they’re one whole unit, and the parts all move smoothly and cohesively together.
Besides that 🤔... they have a good grip, I suppose. For my purposes, anyway. Pretty sure they would hold a bag of chips closed quite well, too.
The magnets aren’t rare-earth Super strong, but they do hold the weight of the clips with no problems. I haven’t tried hanging anything up with them, so I’m not sure how much more weight they can support, if any.
And the colors are eye catching, but not so loud that they hurt your eyes. Just bright enough so they’re easy find if I drop them. lol

I would have liked the sizes to be distributed a little more evenly, but I knew the quantity of each size I was getting by reading the description.
Even the x-small (0.6'') could hold 20 sheets of paper. It could also hold the flexible cover on the Creality Ender 3D printer hot bed.
The small (0.75") could hold a glass cover on the Creality Ender 3D printer hot bed....very secured.

Exactly what we expected and so far they are holding up nicely. Spring is strong and the designs are cute.
How I review:
When I review a product said product automatically starts with four stars as I rarely will purchase anything below four stars. I then add and/subtract stars based on certain criteria as listed below.
1. If an item is exactly what I expected and nothing more it will receive a four star rating
2. If an item surpasses my expectations it will gain a star
3. If an item goes slightly below my expectations it will lose a star
4. If the instructions for the product (if needed) are poorly written (hard to understand due to language issues or grammar) or just too hard to follow it will lose a star no matter if the product meets or exceed my expectations
5. If a product is significantly below my expectations I will deduct two stars
6. It will be rare that I would give a product one star since I buy mostly items that have a 4+ rating but in rare instances there may be a good reason that even a four star product gets a one star rating from me. It could be because of customer service issues from the company but whatever the case is I will clearly explain my reason for giving a product only one star
