I got these to give an underutilised bike my mother-in-law gave me a little more pep. I'll start by saying that I repair bikes; I disassemble, rebuild, paint, and, if necessary, add lights to them. Every year, many of my bicycles travel to Burning Man. So I've tried a variety of bicycle light brands, from well-known companies to unknown ones, expensive to inexpensive. These lights are the best I've found, and I only use them now unless I need a hue they don't have. These lights are VERY BRIGHT and definitely draw notice. And sturdy; yet, avoid tying them down too firmly. The most recent set I purchased was also the fantastic white ones. Well, after approximately a week, one of them continued to fail after encountering even the slightest bump. guessed there was a loose wire or a short. I called the seller, who apologized profusely and told me to dispose of the damaged item as I saw fit. They promised to send a replacement as soon as possible. If your bike is left out in the rain for a long enough period of time, the water will soak into the battery casing and cause a short circuit. They are much more responsive and light up properly and brightly than the previous type I had, which would only dimly light up unless I hit something hard to make it vibrate enough. At night, they even somewhat illuminate the ground.My tires needed an extension because when I tighten them all the way, air escapes.
