I was only able to ride my bike for approximately 3 miles before I had to get off to rest my sore backside.I perused countless reviews about various big bike seats. I had some reservations after reading some user reviews where people claimed that their 34.9mm seatpost clamp didn't work with tubes that were Larger than my 29.2mm tube (my Bontrager tube listed 29.2mm). Even though I tried to cancel my order, it had already shipped when I realized I couldn't. It fit well after I put it on and tightened it. Everyone must keep in mind to attach the clamp to the seatpost frame tube, which will significantly increase the diameter in millimeters. It is placed incorrectly if it is just clamped to the tube rather than the seatpost frame tube. Additionally, it is obvious that you are tightening way too tightly if the lever or bolt is cracking. After you have tightened the bolt, push the lever with a moderate amount of force—not an insane amount. Simple user error, there. The clamp is snugly secured. It has a nice appearance, and the rider can open and close the lever with ease.

Installation went smoothly. Simple: The bolt on this product threads into a spherical receiver sculpted into the clamp, essentially eliminating the chance of over-tightening this item, which is what I enjoy about it compared to other products on Amazon and the one my bike came with. You'll see that many of the clamps in this area are threaded directly into the soft alloy, and overtightening will shred your clamp. I'm happy with my buy. has so far kept my seat firmly fastened in place throughout hundreds of kilometres of gravel riding. To improve my other two bikes, I'll be getting two more soon.

I rate this as a 4. Although the product is decent, the fit information is either incorrect or ambiguous. I bought two of the 34.9 mm, but I'm returning one for the 31.8 mm. Both my 2016 Trek adult bike and one of my youth Trek bikes were too big for the 34.9. It fits a little earlier version of the same-model Trek youth bike that I have for kids.I've included pictures of the bike that this product does not fit because it is the 34.9 version. I apologise for the ruler. I can slide the product off the post even when it is tightly clamped. just as I said. I'm exchanging one for the smaller size and keeping one as a backup.
