It is true that the Zacro Lightweight Cycle Helmet is compact. It is without a doubt the lightest cycling helmet I've ever owned. It's not a major thing, but the helmet is more gorgeous in person than it is in the pictures. I made an effort to photograph the patterning. There is a retractable sun visor on the front that reminds me of something Batman would wear when riding a bicycle (see photo). This visor seems me as more of a piece of plastic than a particularly sturdy attachment. It snaps in the sides of the helmet in a way that makes me feel uneasy if I were to actually travel at high speeds for extended periods of time (for a bicycle). Although the visor does have holes in it, perhaps this will help keep it attached to the helmet by preventing wind updrafts. My head was easily adjusted with the help of the dial in the back (see photo). It was a good fit for me.

These were purchased for a helmet that a seizure sufferer wears. The helmet was a custom-made item that was allegedly built to fit, however it completely obscured the wearer's eyes and made it exceedingly challenging for them to use their spectacles. The built-in light on the back of this helmet makes it really cool! In order to make yourself visible to cars in the dark, it flashes red at various rates and rhythms. It also has a magnetically-attached detachable visor for the eyes. The helmet can be adjusted nicely, however I believe that because of how high it sits, a child's or small head would be better suited. My favorite feature is the expanded front section, which functions like a hat and lets you ride your bike outside pleasantly. If you want to keep your kids safe when biking around the neighborhood, I'd highly suggest this helmet. It is also moderately stylish and incredibly lightweight.

Fortunately, my older Giro E2 helmet has not been in an accident, but the padding has essentially decomposed. I decided to replace the majority of the older pads with this set. Although not outstanding, the pads in this set appear to be adequate. The materials they are constructed of may not be of the finest quality, but they do absorb perspiration and are holding up. Nevertheless, I only paid approximately $10 for this bundle, so I didn't expect anything really luxurious. The weak adhesive on the pads is about the only thing I have against the set. Once you attach them to your helmet, they frequently come off easily. For my own use, I took the pads off and lightly covered the back with liquid foam 3M adhesive. Now that they are considerably more securely fastened (though they can still be taken off if necessary), I am still enjoying how my old E2 helmet feels, just as I did when it was brand-new. Additionally, I did not utilize the majority of the tiny velcro tabs since they cause pressure spots that, even when the pads are covering them, I still find to be bothersome.I would rate this pad set between 3.5 and 4 stars overall. I'll revisit and update this review as the months go by. With an outdated helmet, this set will undoubtedly be helpful, but if you want top quality, you might want to go elsewhere.

The performance of this helmet has beyond even my highest hopes. Some of the unfavorable reviews I've read, in my opinion, are for a different product. This helmet fits, feels, is cooler, and is finished better than my much more costly Giro helmet. After being unboxed, it took less than two minutes to be adjusted so that it was the ideal fit. This product's color is considerably more vibrant than it seems in the picture. Instead of being white, the visor is now black, and it looks much nicer. The cushioning in the removable liner is of a higher caliber than that of my Giro, plus the helmet is lighter and comes with a bug net to prevent insects from building their nests in your hair. Now, regarding the back light... It took me a few tries to get the light to turn on until I understood I had to press down firmly enough to cause the clear plastic cover to deflect and make contact with the internal switch. I'm going to use this unbelievably cheap helmet a lot, I can tell. Despite my normal head size and height of 6 feet, this helmet can still be adjusted to fit loosely on my head. To protect the helmet from harm, Amazon packaged this goods in a box with plastic bubble wrap. This color scheme matches another road bike I just bought perfectly. I adore the absence of the "basecamp" branding.

I've been commuting by bike every day for more than 10 years, six of which were spent donning a helmet-mounted mirror. I got this to replace the identical model since the area where the mirror attaches to the stem could no longer be glued back together. The mirror would finally just not stay in position. I have moved aside to prevent collisions with vehicles that were approaching too closely from behind thanks to my ability to see them in the rearview mirror. One of the most crucial safety tools I can suggest for regular riding is the use of a mirror. Although I've tried the ones that clip onto glasses, I think the ones that are installed on the helmet offer the finest rear visibility.

I was happy to discover the BTR helmet coverings because I was baffled by why individuals would spend over $30 on a mere shower hat. When combined with a helmet liner, this cover makes for a much more comfortable ride in Seattle than just using it alone. At this moment, after a few months of use, the cover has continued to be waterproof, so I can say that my purchase was successful. Additionally, even through the cover, my helmet light, which fits underneath, is still pretty bright. I highly advise purchasing one of these to add to your arsenal of biking in the rain accessories. I made the decision to look for a different product after using the Echo product for the previous two helmets. Although this one is simpler to use and doesn't jam as the Echo can, there are a few things about it that annoy me. It snaps shut with a satisfying "click" and maintains its position without slipping. I really enjoy it and believe I will purchase it once again in the future. But the fact that I had to email the seller to arrange for it to be mounted and that the directions are a little ambiguous annoys me. I learned about the various sizes of this equipment at that point. This one seems to be the right one for my HJC IS-Max 2. So the chin strap snaps on the helmet have to be removed in order to get this on! Since I had just changed my helmet this spring, I wasn't too keen on the thought of physically altering it, especially if I would end up hating this clasp and having to look for alternative snaps. However, after an hour and a half I gave up and forced them off, mounting the gadget and finishing the job. In light of this, I believe the directions for altering the helmet should be made clearer, and the seller should consider posting a set of illustrated instructions online.However, it has worked well in the rides I've taken, so it will continue. One drawback is that it is made of metal, which may cause a cold spot under your chin if you ride in cold weather (I do). It does bring up another aspect, however; you can get your beard stuck in these devices, Echo included. Since I have a beard, it's less of a problem for me. Uncomfortable, but at least this one releases smoothly in contrast to my old Echos, which would jam and force me to seek assistance.So yeah, I'm satisfied with it and will keep using it. If the minor issues listed could be resolved, I would be content.
