Frameless shower doors are definitely more expensive than their framed counterparts. However, many homeowners feel that the extra cost is worth it for the sleek, modern look that frameless doors provide. Plus, frameless doors are much easier to keep clean since there are no nooks and crannies for dirt and grime to build up in.
You can add a glass door to any bathtub. This will allow you to keep the water in the tub and not have to worry about it spilling out onto the floor.
If your bathroom is large enough, you can install a sliding glass door in front of your bathtub. This will give you easy access to the tub and will also keep the bathroom more private. You will need to have a professional install the door, and it will likely be more expensive than a regular bathtub door.
You can install a shower door without drilling if the door is made of a material that can be glued to the shower wall.

DreamLine produces various high-quality goods at extremely affordable prices. My second bathroom was recently renovated, and most of the materials were obtained from Amazon. Shower doors must be frameless, and I already have another DreamLine shower door in my upstairs bathroom. It looks fantastic, feels fantastic, and my contractor said he didn't hear any complaints throughout installation.

This product is of excellent quality. The glass is thick and appears to be quite robust. (I might switch the handle for a knob simply to make sure my daughter is never tempted to lean all the way on it.)If the walls are straight, installation is quite straightforward. The user guide is really clear and simple to grasp. In plastic bags or cartons, all screws and small pieces have numbers. To balance the door, I will need assistance for approximately a minute. To order one more bracket, I had to get in touch with customer service; they were simple to get in touch with, and the bracket showed up in a timely manner. Very encouraging.

These were bought for our shower/tub makeover; the first set was broken, but the second set arrived in good condition. The only thing about the installation process that I don't like is that there is a space between the doors where the slide piece should be. It permits water drips in trace amounts to escape. I also dislike the thick handles.

Beautiful shower doors give my master suite a spa-like atmosphere. These doors have heavy-duty hardware and are thick and sturdy. Although it is a process, my husband and I installed them ourselves, so it is possible! Hire a pro if you're in a hurry. You are installing water-tight shower doors, so keep that in mind. We spent several days installing the doors, sealant, and hardware, but I saved a tonne of money by doing it myself.

We recently put this this shower door. When my tile contractor wasn't accessible, it languished in my garage for more than a year after I purchased it. To update you on this product, I have written two other reviews. Just to recap, this door cannot be adjusted in any way, thus your walls must be square. The powder coating finish on the rails was somewhat bubbled, and since we had this for a year, I was hoping the manufacturer would assist us. They were excellent! I received our new rails approximately 10 days after receiving my payment receipt, and the entire system was installed yesterday. The instructions are rather clear, so just follow them and carry out your instructions. But two people are needed, especially when installing the hefty glass doors. One person holds the door while the other attaches the fixtures to it, with some of the assembly actually taking place in the tub. Sounds challenging, but it's not actually. The finished product is a stunning, luxurious shower door. Comparing the price and quality of this door to one you could get at a glass shop, which I did research, I believe it is worthwhile to even purchase it and have a contractor install it for you. Purchasing this door won't leave you unsatisfied; rather, you'll be delighted, and DreamLine offers excellent customer service. I'm not tech savvy, but if I could figure out how to attach a photo to this, I would.

Would have gotten five stars if the manual was written better. A 90-minute wait, two additional calls to other extensions, and a few emails added up to more than three hours lost during installation. However, DreamLine did eventually call me back, and the agent was quite kind and recognized that a few important information had been omitted. The install had trouble with direction #1. It says that the bottom and top rails are already 60" long, but they were actually just 56.5". Our bath tub alcove is 58.675" wide, thus the 60" would also include the side mount rails (bringing the dimensions to 59.5 inches), which ultimately worked. Moving it up, down, etc. requires two people, thus make sure the assistant is aware of simple "Do as I do" instructions or there could be issues. After figuring out a few typos (or lack of instructions), the quality was better than I had anticipated.*NOTE: Make sure you read the assembly instructions book in its entirety before speaking with the tech support professional. If you don't, you'll detest wasting time repeatedly. As the representative indicated, Mondays are their biggest day for phone calls.

Although it has a five star appearance, I will explain why I gave it four stars. My door's glass protruded from the bottom metal by about a quarter inch. This prevented the bottom bracket from being fully screwed down. The end cap seemed solid, could still be used, and would not be seen as it is on the bottom, so I went ahead and screwed it on. The screws weren't very great, according to reports I read. For the bath wall brackets, I ordered stainless steel screws that were just a little bit larger than what it could use. I am very happy I did. Their anchors were effective for me to employ. In order to drill into porcelain tile, I used a 1/4 inch DeWalt diamond bit. Don't try to rush this. If there isn't a miracle that I am unaware of, you'll kick yourself for not realizing it sooner. After you drill the holes, installation happens quickly. After drilling, my twenty-year-old daughter and I erected it in around 30 minutes. To determine where the top bracket should go, I suggest dry fitting this in the brackets and keeping it in place (with a helper). Use a level as well. Hire someone if you don't have any experience handling installation issues. Due to a slightly misaligned hole, we used one of the smaller screws that Jet provided and installed it at a very minor inclination. No installation is ever flawless, thus adjustments are frequently required.I would have rated this five stars if it weren't for the glass being out of alignment. It's lovely and will help us with our issue with an inclined shower enclosure. I would repurchase this, however before installing it, I would check the glass alignment.

It is possible to put a door on any bathtub. This can be a great way to make getting in and out of the tub easier, especially for those with mobility issues. There are a few things to keep in mind when considering this option, such as the size and shape of the tub, the door design, and the installation process.
Yes, you can put a frameless shower door on a fiberglass shower. There are special brackets that are available that will allow you to do this.
If you want to add glass doors to your fiberglass tub, it's possible to do so. You'll need to purchase a glass door kit and then follow the instructions for installation. This is a relatively easy project that most people can do on their own, but you may want to hire a professional if you're not confident in your abilities.
If you want to add glass doors to your tub surround, there are a few things you need to keep in mind. First, you need to make sure that the tub surround is made of a material that can safely hold glass. Second, you need to make sure that the glass doors you select are the right size and style for your tub surround. And finally, you need to install the glass doors properly to ensure that they function properly and look great.
The average shower door is about 80 inches tall, but your specific door height may vary depending on the size of your shower. Most shower doors are made to be installed about 76 inches above the floor, but you may need to adjust this measurement based on the size of your shower and your own height.
The cost of installing a bathtub glass door will vary depending on the size of the door, the type of glass, and the company you choose to install it. Generally, you can expect to pay between $200 and $1,000 for the door and installation.
