Worked flawlessly and has a washer for rubber hoses. I usually use a fitting attached to the test cock of my vacuum breaker to blow out the irrigation system pipes, but when that wasn't working and any air was escaping as quickly as I was pumping it in, I needed an alternative. I was able to address the problem by closing the ball valve just past the vacuum breaker, connecting this adapter to the line's hose spigot just past the vacuum breaker, and forcing air through the irrigation system zones. I'll actually use this method going forward because it is a better answer for me. In a few days, I'll try to include a picture.

I'm really enjoying this tool so far. I've owned a lot of air blow guns of this type over the years, but this one is by far the best. With the air hose, it seals incredibly nicely. I particularly enjoy how the length can be adjusted by removing a knurl nut on the barrel; this allowed me to blow debris off my riding mower without stooping. That is a huge plus for me because I have back pain. The hanging hook is very well-done. Without needing to twist the air hose, all you have to do is turn it. There are no leaks as of yet. If I can find the same seller, I'll purchase another if necessary. I heartily endorse this product.

I switched to synthetic Purple brand oil for my compressor two years ago. In warmer climates, the purple brand operated well, but in cold climates, trying to activate the compressor would trip the breaker. With simply a changed synthetic oil brand, I didn't anticipate many changes. The compressor started up without any issues this frigid morning after I changed the oil to Powermate 100% full synthetic yesterday. Zero breaker trips! I'm going to start using this oil going forward.The cost of the Powermate 100% synthetic on Amazon is less expensive than the cost of the Powermate syn-blend at your neighborhood Home Depot. It's not difficult to decide between a cheaper 100% full synthetic found on Amazon and a cheaper synthetic blend found locally.

This makes winterizing your system on your own really simple.I have a nipple on my shutdown valve box for this purpose, but it's not the standard compressor fast connect type fitting. I can easily attach this adapter and use my compressor to blow out my sprinklers because I already have an outside faucet in the garden that is a component of the irrigation side of the shutdown valve. However, you will need a mechanism to force that valve open constantly during blow-out. It should be noted that if you don't have a faucet on the sprinkler side, you may purchase the necessary parts at a hardware store to attach this adapter onto one of the sprinkler feeders. The majority of sprinkler controllers do not permit you to do this.A typical outside faucet on the home side of the shutoff valve is NOT the place for this!How to apply this:Turn off the main sprinkler valve in step 1. This is presumably near your meter on the street.2. Open the outdoor faucet and let gravity remove as much water as possible.3. Connect the compressor to it after attaching this adaptor.4. Turn the compressor on and let it to fill the tank.5. Open each sprinkler zone valve one by one, allowing it to run until it is only blowing air.6. After finishing, turn off the faucet.Keep in mind that a "real" compressor is required for this. While doing this, my 1-gallon Craftsman compressor struggles to maintain the line's 20 psi. I utilize pneumatic air tools often since I work on little engines. This air rifle was recommended to me, so I purchased it. This tool's design is highly appealing to me. The handle has a wonderful rubber grip, and the trigger is incredibly comfortable and simple to use. It's cool that depending on whether or not your air line originates from the ceiling, you can attach the air coupler on either the bottom or top of the tool. On the top, there is a lovely hook that may be used to hang the tool. The nozzle is long enough in most situations, though for convenience I would have preferred it to be a couple of inches longer.The adjustable flow knob on this weapon is one of its best features; most air guns lack this feature. Unfortunately, this is also where this instrument has a disadvantage. I assumed that the knob would allow for limitless flow adjustment because it turns endlessly without stopping, however it does not. Once you've located the sweet spot, a slight clockwise turn will drastically reduce the flow, while a slight counterclockwise turn will increase it. In reality, there is therefore only a very little amount and maximum force, with no modification in between. I'll still use this tool, but I was hoping for more than two settings!Although the trigger handle is made of plastic, the trigger mechanism is made of metal, thus the tool feels fairly sturdy overall. And the fact that this gadget includes a coupler of its own is really nice. When I've purchased air tools, I've typically had to provide my own coupler. Although I heartily suggest this tool, you should be warned that the flow modification isn't as effective as you may like. Every technician and homeowner should have this tool in their toolbox. 4.5 stars overall.

This compressor was purchased for a specific job at work. I then made the decision to try using it to blow out my 11-zone sprinkler system since I already had it.The majority of the materials I read, as well as a few YouTube videos, claimed that using this type of compressor to blow out a sprinkler system is prohibited. The cause is that this tiny little compressor can't maintain the pressure required to "push" the water through the sprinklers since it doesn't push out a lot of air. Generally speaking, this is true.However, if you simply use the compressor for 20–30 seconds, the system's pressure is still strong enough to force all of the water out of the system's heads. And if you perform this method three times, all of the water will drain out.So, after joining the compressor to my system, I turned on and off one zone using my phone's connection to my BHYVE sprinkler controller.I would first wait for the compressor pressure to reach 60 PSI, activate the zone for 20 to 30 seconds, and observe the spray, then turn the zone off and wait for the compressor pressure to rise to 60 PSI again.The drawback of this procedure was how long it took. Standing outdoors next to the compressor while pacing back and forth while holding my phone, I'm sure I came off like a complete goof. It was fine because I was able to read some emails while the compressor worked. After about an hour, I was finished.This would have been much more difficult, in my opinion, if I hadn't had the sprinkler controller that connected to my phone. But since I do, this tiny compressor performed admirably.

After receiving the air gun, the quality is lighter than anticipated. The front attachment threads are very coarse and difficult to screw on. Additionally, the longer blow attachment is not square to the gun; it is not bent, but it was not seated squarely when it was inserted into the thread part. After contacting the seller, a replacement was sent, which is much better now that it is at least square to the gun and as far as the air quality is concerned.

The hose is really stiff when it's 40 degrees outside. Not what was predicted. Do not use in cool weather should be specified by the manufacturer. Invest more money and purchase Goodyear rubber hose. With connections, it is not worthwhile in this instance to repackage and transmit back!I must admit that my review above was a little bit critical. I need to accept the fact that PVC is stiffer than rubber, and I already knew that. Wynnsky also sells rubber hoses of excellent quality. I didn't mean to disparage WYNNsky. I have a water line running from my garage to a garden hose valve outdoors. Although the line has an outside vent valve and an interior block valve to help drain the line, there always appears to be enough water present to cause an elbow to freeze and break. In order to blow the line from the vent valve to the garden hose valve, I consequently purchased this adaptor.Converting the air compressor hose to the garden hose fitting in the water line is the challenging part. The issue is nicely resolved by this adaptor! The air hose quick connector delivers full air pressure as soon as it is attached, hence it is imperative that you get the version with the ball valve. High grade bright brass is used for the fast coupler, valve, and female garden hose connector. The hose has a small bend radius and can withstand pressure.The single, admittedly minor, drawback is that the garden hose connector cannot spin, necessitating the use of the quick coupling collar to keep the air hose from kinking. I did not devalue the gadget for this since it is really a small nuisance rather than a significant issue.Also keep in mind that you must attach this device to either a normal garden valve or a soldered valve that has a male garden hose connector (see the photo). Install a 1/2" solder X 1/2" male NPT fitting off the water line, then screw on a 1/2" female NPT X 3/4" male garden hose adaptor if you are connecting to a soldered valve. These two adapters ought to be accessible at Home Depot or another hardware store with a good selection. In an effort to complete the conversion in one step, I looked in vain on the Internet and at numerous retailers for a 1/2" solder X 3/4" male garden hose adaptor.
