This is absolutely worthwhile for the price. The cross bar is somewhat flimsy because the tubes do not fit tightly enough. I do not suggest that grownups use it. This is something I'll use with our U-10 soccer squad.Update: On November 5, 2018, I was able to utilize this during the summer, and it performed flawlessly—better than I had anticipated. I put it together and took it apart every day while we trained on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Even after all the use we put it through, the tubes held together quite nicely. I even caught the youngsters hanging from the cross bar during a rehearsal; I was worried they would bend it, but nothing much occurred. I heartily urge youth teams to use it.Update on 9/22/2019: The goals have been utilized extensively for a year. Every practice, I put them together and take them down. Even children may now set them up. We purchased a second one and are now competing in full-scale games with other teams. Still, I consider these to be excellent buys.

These were a gift for my son's sixth birthday. They are used by us to play 2-on-2 soccer in our backyard. Although he adores them, I would think that they are only likely to fit him for a further year or two in terms of height and width. Look up the goal size if you have kids who are much older than 8 or 9. Otherwise, these are fantastic for the proper child size. The goals are effectively kept in the ground by the stakes. With a size 3 ball, the nets don't topple over. They are also simple to disassemble and transport inside the house.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:The goals looked great but after the first practice, there was a hole in the bottom part of one of the nets where the stitching had come undone. It wasn't a huge hole, but would've started unraveling fast with each practice. It was disappointing and I couldn't decide if I should exchange them for another set, but with the Amazon store I purchased through, I wasn't given the option of exchange. So, I went ahead and returned them and bought a pair of PUGG goals (I've worked with them in the past and knew them to be a quality product and company for just a little more money). I was worried that these Golme pop-ups are such a new product for the company that maybe all the kinks hadn't been worked out in quality issues. But I see no one else has had my issue, so take my review with a grain of salt.I give Golme credit, though, for having such a great return policy and fast refund.UPDATED 4/28/14I changed my original rating of 2 stars to 4 stars because of the SUPERB commitment this company has to it's customers. After I originally wrote my review I received an email from Graham, the CEO of Golme, stating how sorry he was about the problem I had with my goal. Just like it was described. Well built, timely delivery, and well-packaged. The assembly was quite simple. With the net included, it only took me (one person building) 20 to 25 minutes to assemble. If you follow the diagram and directions, it appears difficult to make a mistake because the instructions were straightforward and clear. Although the straps and net appear well-made, I will personally add zip-ties to the net to strengthen it for powerful kicks. When I'm not using the goal, I enjoy that I can fold it up. The best feature is that it is portable and lightweight, and it has four anchors for stable kicking of heavy balls into the goal. I would advocate for others. If you are worried about the quality, don't wait. Furthermore, I wasn't given a deal or paid for my reviews. I just want to share my story so that others would know what to anticipate. I paid full amount.

pleasantly high caliber. Given the modest cost of this item, I wasn't anticipating much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The net is simple to connect and modify, and the supports are made of sturdy metal. For backyard play or peewee leagues learning the fundamentals of football, this size is ideal! UPDATE: The velcro straps that hold the netting to the metal frame have pretty much given up and have torn beyond useful usage after being left out for roughly 10 months, 7-8 of which were in the full, baking south Texas heat. Hopefully, the zip ties I used to reattach will hold up a little bit longer than the original velcro fasteners. The structure and nets have performed admirably elsewhere. I'll continue to give this product a five-star review since, considering the price I bought (less than $25) and the use it has received, it has held up quite well. I can see this lasting forever if it were used indoors.

One of my favorite Amazon purchases ever. These are just what I was searching for to get a company team motivated for the season. They stand up admirably to the rounds we've fired into them. The spikes are strong, and it is quite practical to quickly fold and store them. They are easy to set up and take down, and as an added plus, the cones are great for setting up the four corners and identifying the half line if you use them for a scrimmage.One tiny issue, however—after being used for a season, one of the green spikes came off. The white elastic wire that connected the spike to the net became unfastened in some way. Keep in mind that the cable simply loosened; it did not break off. It has been flawless since I simply retied it like the others were. Very pleased with these, especially given that they were one of the more economical choices.How accommodating the bag is is one of my favorite features of these popup objectives. Even though the goals fit tightly inside, there is still room for a ball pump, a few footwork ladders, and even cleats/shinguards or a water bottle.

But really, PUGG has been around forever, and the pop-up objectives' practicality and ease are unmatched. The 6 feet pop-ups were originally introduced to us at our daughter's club soccer practice.We enjoy playing scrimmages in our backyard, where my husband also teaches an U10 team. Arguments over whether the ball was in or out usually arose with the conventional cones. Since no merchant, including Amazon, Soccer.com, or any other, will deliver the 6' pop-up goals to an APO/FPO address, we are currently stationed in Okinawa. Thus, the 4 foot goals that we finally settled on are excellent. Shots must be more accurate and lower in order for them to be in, but hey, it forces both adults and children to work on their accuracy. Without a goalie, the size is ideal for small-sided games.The goals also include replacement pegs, buckles for the center strap, and three pegs or anchors connected by elastic cable. There is a peg/anchor on each of the front sides, as well as one in the centre of the rear. They hold up when we use them in the windy Okinawa climate!

These have been in use for a while and, despite being far less expensive, they are comparable to Puggs. The spikes that stick out of the ground are far worse than the terrible spikes on Puggs. To make the spikes less likely to break, they should be made of steel. These spikes will easily break if you stamp on hard ground with your foot. Additionally, they aren't strong enough to be fully pounded into hard ground, so only leave them halfway in the ground (unless you want them to break). Based on the net's quality and significantly lower price than the Pugg, it is deserving of 4 stars.
