I bought this melt and pour soap base to make Christmas gifts for my friends and family because I've never made soap before, so I needed something simple, all-natural, and easy to make. Before I created the ideal soap for everyone on my list, I spent hours researching and creating test batches (recipe below).1. The soap melted easily in the microwave after being cut into small cubes (1" x 1"). To prevent burning, I placed it in a large pyrex measuring cup and microwaved it in 30 second increments, stirring in between each one.2. It doesn't include any artificial components and has a beautiful fresh scent. Titanium Dioxide, which gives this product its opaque tint, is present in it (I later found that this is the case for most soaps)3. It does not leave a greasy or oily residue and feels really lovely on the skin. It is smooth and creamy.4. Despite the extra ingredients I added, it lathers up reasonably well.Recipe for Exfoliating Soap3 cups Base for Melt and Pour Soap1-tablespoon baking sodacoffee grounds, 1 tablespoonFrench Green clay, 1/2 tbsp.Shea or mango butter, half a tablespoon2 teaspoons of your favorite essential oil1. Melt soap in the microwave as previously mentioned2. Let the melted soap cool somewhat before adding the rest of the ingredients. This will help the components stay suspended in the soap and prevent them from sinking to the bottom.3. Include clay, coffee grounds, shea or mango butter, and essential oils.4. Continue mixing until smooth.5. Fill mold with mixture and let it sit overnight (it will set up in 3 to 4 hours, but I like to let it totally harden before removing it from the mold).Highly suggest this item for all the aforementioned factors.

The packing followed fairly simple rules. It was inserted into a box and a sizable bundle. There wasn't any issue there.Other than that, this glycerin is really great. I could use it as soon as I got it, which was great. Due to my extremely dry skin, I produced some lotion for myself. All of the dry skin lotion recipes I have call for glycerine. I like that it is veggie glycerine as well.In general, I approve. No smell is present either. This is advantageous when creating lotions. Having a no-scent glycerine makes it easier for me to add my own scents to the container.

THIS SOAP BASE IS AMAZING. All of the soap bases from this firm that I've used are fantastic. Very user-friendly, decent suspension when using decorative additions, doesn't dry out your hands, and produces fantastic suds! even if your attempts to get superfat drive you a little crazy! superior to anything I've tasted from Michael's by a mile. I'll only be purchasing soap bases from this company from now on.

Excellent soap that makes DIY simple. This was my first purchase for making breast milk soap. The finished soap has a lovely appearance. The squeaky sensation you get when using this dial is the only thing I didn't enjoy about it. Your skin becomes'squeaky clean' in the literal sense. In my second effort, I used the same brand but shea butter instead, and I preferred the shea butter.

I just tried Nilotica Shea butter from the East, and I really like it! Much softer than West's standard Shea, but I still adore its thickness for my face and legs (different preference). Compared to the West Shea butter that I typically get, this butter has a very mild scent. The fact that the container was sent sealed is crucial to quality! Additionally, the butter's top was a little bit gritty and melted, but I don't mind because there are no additives within to maintain the texture, supporting its naturalness. The topical liquid component is typical during temperature changes since Nilotica butter melts much more readily than West Shea, according to my research. Moreover, when I used the product, it quickly absorbed and left my skin, particularly my feet, feeling silky smooth. I had the impression that my pedicure had just appeared! The best option is USDA Certified Organic, too! We appreciate you providing raw butter with USDA certification at a competitive price. Despite the Shea butter being USDA certified organic, I stopped buying it from another supplier since the price rose and I was unable to keep up payments. I'm so grateful for this delicious butter at such a great price! I'll be a repeat customer and will undoubtedly make more purchases. Update: In less than a week, the jar is already half empty. I really appreciate and enjoy your stuff!

Although I had never made soap before, I knew I had to give it a shot because I had a mould and some essential oils. I microwaved a pound of goat's milk/glycerin melt-and-pour soap base that I had purchased before adding ground oats and honey to the mixture. I started pouring my first batch of soap into this mould ten minutes later. I made some really lovely bars of homemade soap, as you can see from the images! wonderful experience The soap is also wonderful! It smells beautiful and fresh, lathers well, and doesn't fall apart in the shower. I'll purchase more of it!

I've never purchased glycerin soap before to make soap. I immediately attempted making my own soap after receiving it yesterday. I was worried about whether it would be clear or hazy after reading the reviews. My initial batch was foggy and clear. Yes, I did notice the clear soap; however, the other soaps were foggy because I returned to the mold and added a bit extra liquid to fill it. When I directly poured the melted, colored, and scented glycerin soap while the liquid was still hot, it produced clear soap. One soap was half clear and half hazy, as seen in the image. I advise transferring hot, melted components to the mold. So I remelted the soap I created yesterday today, one day later. I put it immediately into the mold from the microwave. The outcome is clear soap.

This soap base is great. It produces an excellent lather. When you first open it, there is a mild chemical odor. For packing considerations, I believe the exterior has been treated with some sort of alcohol. This chemical smell is short-lived and has no effect on how the soap smells after use.

Such wonderful soaps. I was fortunate to sample one of these, and I genuinely adore it. They have a wonderful scent when wet and feel very soft and silky against your touch. They are quite little and adorable. I tried one of these because I have rather sensitive skin, and it worked really well. The soaps appear to be entirely natural and are scented with essential oils. The only drawback is that neither the ingredients nor the aroma of each bar are listed. It is undoubtedly excellent for relaxing your body and/or skin, practicing meditation, and even running a bubble bath. The nine soap bars that are included in the box are very small, but a little goes a long way. Excellent to bring along on trips, to use as bathroom decor, or even to give as a gift.

purchased these to color bath bombs and soaps. This was my first try at making bath bombs, and although 6ml is not a lot, I should have paid more attention to the sizes. Because the bottles are so little, you will probably use almost the entire bottle if you are adding color to a white base and want anything other than a pastel shade (depending upon the size of your batch, of course). For instance, I used almost the entire bottle of green when I created some peppermint/basil bath bombs. I don't believe these are at all highly concentrated; my neighborhood Hobby Lobby and Michael's sell better dyes than these, but they are a little more expensive, and I could never afford to buy all the colors in this set at either place for this price.Because they did not stain, colored my concoctions, and provided a wonderful variety of colors, I am awarding them four stars. However, because of the little sizes, I won't be buying again. Since it does take quite a bit of the dye to get anything beyond a pastel color, I only advise using these for tiny batches.Except for the black bath bombs in the image, everything was colored with these dyes.
Yes, Himalayan salt can be used in melt and pour soap. Himalayan salt is a type of salt that is pink in color and is mined in the Himalayan mountains. It is said to be the purest form of salt available and is rich in minerals. When used in soap, it can help to exfoliate the skin and can also help to detoxify the body.
Yes, you can sell soap made from melt and pour. You can find many recipes online for melt and pour soap. You will need a mold to pour the soap into, and you can find molds online or at a craft store. You will also need soap base, which you can find at a craft store or online. Once you have your mold and soap base, you can melt the soap base in the microwave or on the stovetop. Then, you can add fragrance, color, and other additives to the melted soap base. Once you have added all of your desired ingredients,
A license is not required to sell soap. However, soap manufacturers must comply with the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and the Fair Packaging and Labeling Act, which regulate the manufacturing, labeling, and packaging of soap.
Soap does not require FDA approval to be sold, but the FDA does regulate it. Soap is regulated under the Consumer Product Safety Commission, which is a different government agency. The FDA does have certain requirements for soap that must be met in order for it to be sold, but these requirements are not as stringent as those for other products.
Yes, melt and pour soap gets hard. This is because the soap base is made of hard fats that are slowly melted and then poured into a mold.
To make soap with melt and pour base, first melt the base in a double boiler or in the microwave. Once the base is melted, add fragrance, color, and other desired ingredients. Pour the mixture into soap molds and let it cool and harden.
