Yes, RCA cables are still used. They are commonly used to connect audio/video components, such as TVs, Blu-ray players, and stereo receivers, to each other.
There are different types of RCA cables, which are used for different purposes. The most common type of RCA cable is the composite video cable, which is used to connect a TV to a video source. There are also component video cables, which are used to connect a TV to a Blu-ray player or other high-definition video source.
No, you cannot use red white and yellow cables for component. The correct cables to use for component are red, green, and blue.

I purchased these cables so that I could connect a phone to my vintage PA system, which I use when my band performs live. I keep them in my gig bag, and I can use any app on my phone to play music before and during breaks, which makes the entire party rock! In the short time I've had them, I've used them a lot, and I've never had any trouble getting them set up and playing music. They feel incredibly durable for what I'm using them for and are rock solid. Please click the below helpful button if you found this review to be useful. Otherwise, have fun!

I essentially needed an aux jack so I could use my earlier system, which lacks aux, to listen to an Ipod, phone, etc. I got this to replace an aux cable because it did feature a ton of RCA connections that are now essentially useless.Moving the system actually took longer than plugging this in. My gameroom started playing music as soon as I plugged in my iPod.I was able to upgrade my outdated system to the new millennium for around $10, allowing me to listen to music whenever I choose. It was a wise investment since although I won't use it frequently, it will be there when I do. The audio quality is excellent. I am unable to distinguish between this and my previous CD player. This will be effective in updating an outdated system.

fantastic cable set At one of the big box stores that sell home gadgets, you would have to pay at least three times as much for an equal device. The ends attached securely to the equipment connectors and matched perfectly. Additionally, they might be purposefully torn off, which is significant. Because they hung on too tightly and could not be withdrawn without causing damage, several supposedly higher end connectors have caused the RCA jacks on the linked equipment to become damaged. The pressure at the connection point was ideal. This is what I'm utilizing for my receiver's subwoofer outputs. Despite being much thicker than the small gauge generic cables that are still frequently offered and included with some equipment, the wire is flexible and simple to route. This time, Amazon got it right.

I've just had them for a little over a week, and since it arrived before my five-day trip, today is my first true chance to put them to the test. opened a game and discovered an oddity. My right speaker was picking up sounds that should have come from the left, and the opposite was also true. So I looked at the rear of my speakers and sure enough, as indicated by my speakers, the right was plugged into the red and the left into the white. After switching them, the left speaker now plays the left sound and the right speaker the right sound. I initially believed it to be a manufacturing mistake, but when I went back to the store page, the photographs showed the exact same thing—the red and white cords were reversed. I don't have much to say about the sound quality because it is fine and effective. Nothing has been said about durability yet.

It is really easy to use and fulfills my needs. I'm using it as a headphone cable extension for a cable coming from my TV. The fit is tight, and depending on the jack you're connecting it into, you might need to play with it to get clear left and right channels. I may periodically need to make a small adjustment to the poles because I am using a headset with a microphone. When everything is lined up correctly, sound transmits without distortion.

Very snug fit, but they perform well nonetheless.I'll be using them to swap out my old FosPower (spelling?) cords. They have been with me for a while, and I couldn't be happier. The wires on the Monoprice appear to be of much higher quality than those on my old set, and best of all, they are quite short. Although the insulation appears flexible, the cables are exceedingly stiff and difficult to bend. They enable me to link an audio interface to a Traktor DJ mixer. Despite the fact that the cords are so short, they are neat and orderly. Additionally, they fit tightly to the connection; they are not accidentally slipping off. They don't bend well because they are so short and thick, and they prefer to snap back into an almost straight position. My audio interface always gets pushed back behind the mixer when I try to stack it next to the turntable because of the cables. These cables are unquestionably superior to any others I have used.
Yes, you can use a yellow RCA cable for audio. The yellow RCA cable is typically used for video signals, but can also be used for audio.
There's a lot of debate on whether or not the color of your RCA cables matters. Some say that it's all about preference, while others believe that certain colors can affect the quality of your audio. However, there's no scientific evidence to support either claim. So, if you're wondering whether or not you should spend extra money on colored RCA cables, the answer is probably no.
If you're an audiophile, then you know that high quality RCA cables can make a big difference in sound quality. They can improve the clarity and detail of your music, and make your system sound more open and spacious. But if you're not an audiophile, you might be wondering if high quality RCA cables are really worth the money. The truth is, it depends. If you have a very high-end system, then high quality RCA cables will definitely make a difference. But if you have a more modest system, the improvement in sound quality may not
If you have an amplifier, you will need RCA cables to connect it to your speakers. The RCA cables act as the conduit for the audio signal from your amplifier to your speakers. Without RCA cables, your amplifier would not be able to send the audio signal to your speakers, and you would not be able to hear any sound.
When choosing RCA cables, you should consider the length, gauge, and shielding of the cable. The length of the cable should be long enough to reach from your TV to your sound system. The gauge of the cable should be thick enough to handle the amount of power your sound system will be using. The shielding of the cable should be thick enough to prevent interference from other electronic devices.
There is no simple answer to this question as it depends on a number of factors. In general, coaxial cables are less susceptible to interference than RCA cables, but they are also more expensive. Coaxial cables are also typically thicker and more difficult to work with than RCA cables.
