This tool will assist with attaching various items like a microphone, LED illumination (small panels work wonderfully), or anything else with a cold shoe if you are using a gimbal (DJI Osmo Mobile, Zhiyun Mobile 4, etc.) for cell phone video. This is ideal for my BTS videos because I'll be incorporating a wireless lavalier microphone shortly so I can record my voice from behind or to the side. My Sony RX100 VI needed a remote control, so I decided to add one. The "AODELAN Camera Wireless Shutter Release Remote Control" that I discovered functioned well but presented a mounting challenge. That issue was resolved by this mount! I adore it! The stabilizer accomplishes its goal and is lightweight and simple to assemble. I genuinely aim to use this as much as possible because iPhones (as well as many other phones) have 4K capabilities. Both my Canon 5D Mark IV and 6D Mark II are rather heavy to transport. I also have a stabilizer for those. I do my best to use iPhone 4K footage, though, and reserve my Canon cameras for close-up images that require a low f-stop. When you're shooting an event and moving all over the place, this is very convenient.My editing time has been drastically reduced, and I appreciate how simple it is to AirDrop videos from my phone directly to my MacBook without having to fiddle with memory cards, adapters, etc.It comes with a fairly good hard-case to travel with, but if you're also traveling, you could put this in a backpack! Although I haven't traveled with it yet, I know I'll choose this over my large DSLR stabilizers!I've used it for a number of hours now without needing to charge it.highly suggestable Excellent for both newcomers and veterans who need something portable and simple to operate. I just received this, and even with a thin case on it, it won't hold my phone! It states there's no need to worry about your phone and cover, however mine most surely won't fit.It's a typical slip-on case that only covers the back and sides and is incredibly small, but the grips on the osmo won't clip all the way over!I really wanted this to work because I'm going on a road trip around the United States to help at dog rescues and was hoping I could rave about this gimbal, but it's an absolute pain in the a** and I'm probably going to send it back because I don't want to take case off every time I want to take a video or picture. I guess some other company will get my free advertising!Updated on October 18:After having my little tantrum about it not fitting in my case, I decided that if I was going to record a video with this, it wouldn't be for just 2 minutes anyway. Even if I did need to record a quick video of something that might vanish, I wouldn't set this up by balancing it, etc.; instead, I would just take out my phone and start recording.Now that I've actually looked at this, I must say that it's pretty cool! The app seems to have a lot of potential, and I'm excited to try out additional features.The online/on-app manual is your best chance, but be sure to click on your model (Osmo 3 mobile) as it also offers instructions for other models. Take your time and use it. There is a ton of information available (it's 2019 folks! ), but I've seen posts from people who couldn't figure it out.The primary reason I purchased this is because, after investigating and contrasting several models, My friend who utilizes drones for commercial photo shoots told me that DJI makes all of the equipment he uses, and that company has stores all over the US.He uses far more expensive materials than this, but he advised using this instead. When I first showed him the item, he was really amazed.If you don't have time to remove your case, simply take out your phone and begin recording since you would miss whatever it is you are attempting to catch because you still need to balance the phone first.

Compared to other gimbals you can just propel forward with the normal "torch" action, this one has a little bit of a learning curve but is a strong, compact gimbal. This one calls for a move that appears to be sideways and is intended for right-handed people, but it wasn't too difficult for my left-handed self to learn.Once I learned the movements, it functioned well with my iPhone Xs. This is a cool thing! Since I can't stand up and always need to set down my EVO PRO Gimbal, I purchased one. This negates the purpose because I have to shut it off and put it down. So I ordered this tripod online. Even though I was initially dubious, I gave it a shot. This appears to have been well made, in my opinion. It's made of plastic and isn't really fancy, but it just feels sturdy. I then screwed it into my gimbal's bottom, which was a perfect fit. I spread out the legs and raised the gimbal. It was flawless! It wasn't even shaky! Additionally, when I attach a cold shoe/mic bracket on the bottom, it may now slightly wobble if I'm not careful. Given that the mic hangs out a bit, this is to be anticipated.The diameter is roughly the same as my gimbal when I fold them in when not in use. It is therefore incredibly thin and barely perceptible. Furthermore, it performs well when you need it.

This grip is nice. Perfectly compatible with my Canon T3i. To prevent it from bouncing when I walk, I will either hold it with one hand on top, one on bottom, and the "U" against my chest or belly while making a "slide step" motion, or I will just balance the top half on my middle finger (for low shots) or thumb (for high shots) and let it hang. All of these methods provide extremely stable pictures without the use of costly stabilizing equipment.The top hot shoe connector is quite fragile, and anything I try to attach to it always ends up sliding off, which is my only complaint. I decided to just cease attaching things to it as a solution. Not really a deal breaker for me because I'm happy to use the camera's built-in microphone, use alternative techniques to capture separate audio when necessary, and just learn how to work in low light.Overall, I am satisfied with this grip for my requirements given the price.EDIT: I had greater success using the hot shoe on top after purchasing different connectors. Although I'm still hesitant to install expensive equipment in it, everything has worked properly so far.

Due of its low profile, I actually like the Hohem carrying case over those of other brands. It is convenient to pack it in your camera bag. Or it won't take up much room if you took it along on a trip.The juicy part is now. The actual Gimbal. I have a lot of videos and clips to show you, and this gimbal doesn't feel like it has any boundaries. Sincerely, the gimbal doesn't resist when I try to turn it and lower it as low as possible. It doesn't freak out when I want it to make a sharp turn. For $99 or less, it's a wonderful buy all around and quite responsive. I won't detail the specifications of this item because they do an excellent job of doing so above. You do indeed get everything that is depicted in the image. Receiving gifts for no additional expense, such as the gimbal tripod stand, is a huge advantage. (Up Thumb) I've had no issues with how it fits in the hand; the material is plastic with a rubber grip. For the ordinary person, the Battery has more than enough runtime. They specify 12 hours, however I haven't had a chance to use up all of that time yet.
