These are what I've been using for years. I got this to replace the one I lost since I couldn't live without it. In order to avoid having to switch out drivers or bits, I utilize 4 in my woodworking shop. They are useful to have, so I simply reach for the one I need. With its small size and ample torque, it can easily drive wood screws, tighten small hardware, and make changes in confined locations. The adjustable clutch makes it even more handy in the shop, and the battery life is good.

If I was going to go low-end, I would get a non-proprietary usb plug type, but they were half the volts, and this model was returnable, so I took a risk on it. Initially, I thought it would be a piece of garbage for the price. The best. Such a terrific one that, after recently misplacing it, I would purchase a second one in lieu of manual drivers or a drill till this beauty is found. Charges quite quickly and maintains its charge. Lovely and lightweight in your hands. The bits aren't of the best quality, and occasionally you'll strip one, but since parts are so often lost, I'd rather replace them with inexpensive ones than with higher-quality ones. Even the cheap ones will do in a pinch.When set to the highest torque, it has withstood drops and performed rather well with stuck screws. Although I only used it for a few small household tasks and not any serious construction, so far it has worked just as well as my cordless drill.I once saw a report that claimed the plastic extender device for confined areas broke while in use, but it was fine for me, and once more, replacement extenders just cost a few dollars. I'm so impressed with this tool's capabilities that the price tag actually shocked me. I'll keep an eye out for further tools made by this company.

I haven't had much opportunity to use this cordless screwdriver yet, but I'm quite satisfied with the features. Since I was unfamiliar with the brand, I gambled on the positive ratings. It has a full set of bits with a magnetic bit adaptor, a full set of bits with variable speed, a high torque rating for a screwdriver, and a battery level indicator. Additionally, it is reasonably priced. My long-time craftsman was displaced by this tool. The 7.2-volt rating is twice as high as that of the majority of screwdrivers. The only thing I would have wanted is a wall-mountable charging station because I use this equipment frequently and keep it close at hand in my workspace. With a wire tie around the body and another through it on a board hanger, I was able to get around it. All that remains is for it to continue for a while. I'd say this one is a winner as a former auto mechanic who has spent many thousands of dollars on tools.

Another excellent Dewalt 20V MAX tool. It gets along great with my 20V MAX drills, impact drivers, hammer drill, and circular saw because they are all Dewalt products. It's a little hefty when using my favorite 5 AH batteries, but it runs for hours. Similar to the majority of these tools, driving screws to a consistent depth (once set the way you want it) depends on keeping the tool extremely close to perpendicular to the drywall while in operation. Anything more than a tiny angle off-perpendicular will result in the bit disengaging the screw early and not setting it as deep as you intended. But that's not really a problem with the drill; it's just how this kind of instrument limits depth. The side clip for hanging it on a belt or pocket is strategically placed and quite useful, and depth adjustment is extremely simple. Since it is brushless, I anticipate the motor to live virtually forever, though time will tell if the necessary electronics for brushless motors endure as long. Although I haven't used this tool for many many hours, I can tell that my 20v MAX drills, saws, and impact drivers in particular have withstood a lot of arduous use without experiencing any problems. These tools have made me very happy, and I heartily recommend them.

Let's not sugarcoat it. Your husband does not want you to hang objects in the house using an impact driver from a construction site. When an impact driver is not required or necessary, this is the ideal alternative. I use it for things like outlet covers, picture frame screws, and PC maintenance. When I was constructing an addition with a tongue and groove sub-floor, I reasoned that this tool would save my back. I can only wonder why I didn't get this sooner. This would have saved me so much time, even without accounting for the fences I built, as I have built and renovated five homes. It's incredibly simple to set up and use the tool. If I had to use a regular driver and screws, I could have screwed in a 4x8 sheet of sub-floor in a third of the time, at the very least. Although the screws are more expensive, the ease and speed offset this. Although it comes in a very lovely pouch, storing the tool is a little difficult due to its design. After putting in 400 square feet of subfloor, 1000 square feet of sheathing, and 120 square feet of decking, I can now provide you some information regarding the tool:1. The screw may not always fully insert if you travel at an angle. For instance, if the only 2x4 available for your sheathing is 1/4", I would hand-screw the screws.2. The location of the forward/reverse button isn't ideal. I unintentionally put it in reverse as I was adding the screws. The screws weren't going in, and I was panicking because I didn't know it.A superb product and a necessity for any serious DIYer or someone working on a big project, aside from those little issues (i.e., new deck, fence, etc.)

There is plenty of torque in the screwdriver. I did my test on a door that I knew had a tight wood screw. Right out of the box, the driver was able to back the screw out without any difficulty.
