The item's quality has really amazed me. The cover was just the right size when I bought it to cover a wicker loveseat from Pier One. The fabric is unquestionably waterproof, and the bottom hooks to cinch around each leg keep it firmly for windy days. The cushions beneath this cover were completely dry despite the thunderstorm and heavy rain that we experienced. Although the vents incorporated inside the cover initially seemed strange, they are effective at letting air out. The knobs make it simple to adjust the lid and enable quick removal when necessary.A higher grade Sunbrella type cover would be similar in thickness and flexibility to this fabric. When not in use, it neatly folds up and stores in our deck box. It has been exposed to the Texas sun for weeks with no evidence of mildew or sun fading yet. Although the hue is not my favorite—it is more of an ashy brown than a deep chocolate—it does mix in well with the garden. Duck Covers's 93-inch Ultimate Patio Sofa CoverThis cover was purchased to replace a Duck Covers "elite" model. This dimension is required to accommodate a sizable outdoor slipcovered sofa. Since it stays considerably cleaner this way, I cover it the entire time and only remove it when I need it (the birds love to do target practice on it).The Elite worked admirably for the first year and much of the second, but then started to lose some of its water-proof characteristics to become only modestly water resistant (I believe the problem spots were mostly limited to areas wear water would collect and pool somewhat). When water did get through, some of the grime that had built up on the outside began to seep inside, dirtying my sofa. The differences described below make this cover appear to be much more strong and long-lasting (at least, that is my hope).This cover is primarily constructed of vinyl, which is not as breathable as the fabric on the elite model but should be entirely water-proof. But this cover's skirt or side band is surrounded by a band composed of permeable cloth. In reality, it seems to be made of the same material as the top model. I like the idea since the sides will let the cover "breathe," but because the material is on the sides rather than the surface, the cover ought to offer better protection and last longer, especially since water won't ever collect there.The vinyl has a premium appearance and feel. The seams are expertly sewn and taped, making them entirely waterproof. The Classic Accessories coverings I own all have seams that are inferior to those on this Duck Cover, and none of their models have taped seams, as far as I can tell. In fact, when I hold up a Classic Accessories cover and examine its seams, I can make out tiny pinholes of light in some places.Right now, the absence of more color and style options is the sole drawback.Regarding how this cover holds up over time, I want to update my review, but for now, I am very pleased with the quality as I see it and can suggest it in those terms over anything else I have yet to try.

When I first bought two Ravenna grill covers last spring, I was quite happy with the quality. The added features were above and above what I anticipated, the stitching is excellent, and the cloth is quite hefty and robust. I had just just bought patio furniture covers from a different company at a comparable price, but the quality was so drastically different that I talked myself into donating those and buying these.SECURE: Every aspect of our coverings is created to fit and grip. It's really windy where I live because I'm by a lake. In the first storm, the old covers were blown off. These simply aren't capable of doing that. Even extra wind protection is provided by the straps and clips on each corner that you can use to wrap around the bottom of each leg. These corners also have elastic pulls that you can tighten to make sure the bottoms fit into the base rather than dangling down.If you want your furniture to fit, make sure to measure it (I was lazy and didn't measure carefully). Each piece was larger than I needed due to the generous cut on these. But the benefit is that I won't have to spend weeks cleaning, packing, and storing all of my patio cushions. Given the highly repellent fabric and the roomy bottom, I have no qualms about leaving them on the furniture throughout the winter.I purchased the grill covers in the spring. They have not faded or worn even a small bit after one summer of Texas sun and heat. I compared the brand-new patio furniture covers to the previous grill covers, and there was no discernible difference. Their colorfastness is very comparable to Sunbrella standard.For my Pier One size wicker set, I chose the deep-seat loveseat, two deep-seat chair covers, the square table/4 chairs cover, and the kettle grill cover. I returned to get the same loveseat cover in size "small" because the size Large cover is just too large. Nevertheless, I'm retaining the huge cover. Additionally, the taupe shade is a lovely neutral that complements gray or driftwood deck stains wonderfully.In conclusion, these are the best investments you could make to safeguard your furniture, and I would suggest them to anyone.

** September 2018 Update **My town in North Carolina was devastated by Hurricane Florence last week, which also dumped a lot of rain. When the rain stopped, I went to remove the rain covers so that my cushions could dry out and avoid becoming moldy, and I was shocked to discover that there was no sign of any water getting through this patio cover! The pillows were completely dry. Amazing! Anyone should be able to use this if it can resist a category 1 hurricane and intense rain for 4-5 days.— Initial assessment —a good construction. Although the material is thin, it is durable and offers decent value for the money. The fabric of the last one I owned simply disintegrated after being used continuously for nearly 2 years in the North Carolina sun, rain, and sporadic snowfall. I think this kind of thing is throwaway since it's so inexpensive. I wish it would survive longer than two years, but on the other hand, I have a set of chair coverings that were about twice as much as these and have withstood the elements for nearly four years, albeit they have become a little moldy and unpleasant. I'm not too disappointed that the overall cost is about the same and I receive a fresh, clean set more frequently, despite the fact that I have to buy a new set every other year.
