Best Liquid Highlighters in 2022

Last update: January 9, 2023

Are liquid highlighters good?

I'm a big fan of liquid highlighters. I think they offer a natural, dewy finish that looks healthy and fresh. Plus, they're easy to use and blend into the skin. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a natural, healthy glow.

Can you apply liquid highlighter with a brush?

Yes, you can apply liquid highlighter with a brush. The best brush to use is a small, dense brush. Dip the brush into the highlighter and apply it to the areas you want to highlight. Blend the highlighter into your skin for a natural look.

Do you apply liquid highlighter before foundation?

When it comes to liquid highlighter, there is no one definitive answer to whether or not you should apply it before foundation. Some makeup artists and beauty experts recommend applying liquid highlighter before foundation as a way to create a dewy, natural-looking glow. Others prefer to apply it after foundation, as a way to add a touch of shimmer and highlight to the face. Ultimately, it comes down to personal preference and what works best for you.

How do I choose a liquid highlighter?

There are a few things to consider when choosing a liquid highlighter. First, decide what kind of finish you want. Do you want a natural-looking glow or a more dramatic, dewy look? Second, think about the shade. If you have fair skin, go for a light-colored highlighter. If you have medium or dark skin, you can choose a deeper shade. Finally, consider the ingredients. Some liquid highlighters contain oils or other ingredients that can clog pores. Choose one that is non-comedogenic and suitable for your skin type.

Zebra Pen Mildliner, Double Ended Highlighter, Broad and Fine Tips, Assorted Colors, 15 Pack Review:

Colors in highlighters are gorgeous! Work properly and even the darkest hues are transparent to you. The orange is not as dark and the red is a little lighter/pinker on the colour swatch I've included with this review, but the other colours are reasonably similar to how they would look on white paper. I am really happy with my purchase and use them frequently. Even though these are a bit pricey, I am happy with my purchase and would suggest them to others who want less fluorescent highlighter colours. My current favourite colours are the red, gold, grass green, purple-blue, and grey shades. All of these mild liner shades are hard to find in other highlighters.

Mr. Pen- Dry Highlighter, Gel Highlighter (Pack of 8), Bible Highlighter, No Bleed Highlighter, Highlighters Assorted Colors, Bible Safe Highlighter, Bible Journaling Supplies, Bible Markers for Tabs Review:

arrived today with Amazon Prime, and it did so promptly. After testing these highlighters on an index card, I started using them right away in my Bible. I COULD NOT get these to flow through the page with the yellow, despite it being a lovely and brilliant color. I DID underline the passage. The pages of my Bible are thin. The 1995 Ryrie Study Bible by Moody Publishers is an expensive edition of the NASB.Perfect high-lighters like this. Even lifting the page up to the light does not cause the highlighted portion to bleed through the paper; instead, it casts a thinly veiled shadow on the other side of the page. These are extremely thin pages. NO highlighters seem to penetrate the page, not even my pencil lead. These have made me very happy, and I heartily suggest them. The thickness of the marker would be the only drawback, although you COULD use the edge to underline with some difficulty, but why? They are not underlines; they are "highlighters." With them, high-lighting is a dream. In the event of a problem, I will update my review.Update.I've kept using these frequently to highlight passages in my Bible, and they've always performed perfectly. There might be a glimpse of the highlighted text on the other side due to the thinness of the pages, but there won't be any bleed through. Reviewers must be able to tell the difference between actual bleed through and only seeing the shadow of it as light travels through the page. The pages of this Bible are thin. Perfect high-lihjters are these.June 07, 2018I still strongly recommend them even after extensive use—and I have used these frequently in my Bible. They DO resemble a crayon more than a standard highlighter. However, the yellow is really brilliant, much like a standard highlighter. simple to use

Highlighting sentences with Sharpie 27145 Pocket Highlighters, Chisel Tip, Assorted Colors, 12-Count Using quotation marks! putting words in bold! In various colors to distinguish various messages within a paragraph? Awesome! You get the needed and desired brightness with these highlighters. The best highlighters are made by them! They are the greatest since they don't smear or bleed. Three of the neon yellows, which are the ones we use the most, are neon yellow, neon pink, neon orange, neon green, neon blue, and neon purple. You just cannot beat the pricing at this amazing low level! It's the best deal of its kind, and you'll be happy you bought them. And, hey, they're Sharpies, which is, in my opinion, the best brand available!

Sharpie Liquid Highlighters, Chisel Tip, Assorted Colors, 10 Count Review:

The best buddy of a student is a highlighter. Using vibrant highlighters makes studying much more exciting and enjoyable. Over the years, I've used a ton of different highlighters from a variety of brands, but these are by far my favourite. To any student, regardless of age, or pretty much anyone else seeking for a dependable set of highlighters, I would wholeheartedly recommend these pencils. My go-to highlighters are these. Here are some explanations for why I thought these were the best:1. Except for two colors, bright and vibrant colors (red

Stabilo BOSS Original Highlighter, Pastels - 6-color Set Review:

Worth the cost! I wish I had known about these before my first nursing semester! There are none better than these! I've tried so many different types of pastel highlighters, but NOT ONE compares to how AMAZING these are! The only thing I don't like about them (or any other high lighter that uses ink) is that they leave a damp area at the end of each line you highlight. I've developed the practice of swiftly wiping it with my finger to remove any surplus ink before the line as a whole dries darker than the spot. Anywhere after two months of consistent studying three times a week, *12–15 hours of nonstop studying,* continual use, and constant blotting with my fingertips, neither the ink tips nor my fingers are even close to being dry. These highlighters have WAY outdone my expectations—I study and highlight as if it's going to save the planet from the zombie apocalypse!

Sharpie 28101 Accent Retractable Highlighters, Chisel Tip, Assorted Colors, 8-Count Review:

I bought these because I liked the size, the size diversity, and the retractable feature. However, I must admit that the "blocky" nature of the highlighting tip and the rough glide significantly let me down. If that makes any sense, the colors are a tad intense and more marker-like than highlighter-like. I already opened the packet, so I'm using them, but I probably won't buy more. The standard Sharpie highlighters with the chisel tip are considerably superior because they have a smoother tip and glide across the page. The Sharpie liquid highlighters, which I also bought, are also superior to these (in my opinion), offer the same variety of colors as these retractable ones, but are unmistakably more like highlighters than markers and have a very smooth tip and glide.

Crayola Take Note Chisel Tip Erasable Highlighters, Stocking Stuffer, Age 6+ - 6Count Review:

These erasable highlighters have saved my life while I'm taking English V01B and Chem V20! Particularly if I unintentionally highlight something in my notes or a book I'm reading, I can just quickly and easily erase it using the white tip on the highlighter's other end. The neat part is that if two colors overlap, like if I accidentally put blue highlighter over a spot where yellow highlighter was, I could use the white tip of the blue highlighter to remove it without removing any of the yellow underneath.

Sharpie Tank Style Highlighters, Chisel Tip, Assorted, Box of 12 Review:

When it was only $5.99, I purchased a 12-pack of fluorescent blue, however it appears that the cost has since increased. Although I didn't need this many, I was unable to find this hue in any other bulk sizes. I wasn't expecting the fluorescent blue to be so opaque, so I only use it to underline key terms or other significant information in my notes. Since the colour is simply too dark to totally highlight a word, I took away a star because it makes it more difficult to read, the exact opposite of what a highlighter should be accomplishing! However, because the blue is so rich, I actually prefer it to the yellow because it seems to be more resistant to pencil lead and pen streaks.4 stars because I adore this hue of blue and it adds a little bit of enjoyment to taking notes when you do so!

AmazonBasics Chisel Tip Highlighters - Pack of 12 Assorted Colors Review:

If the price is lower, I adore generic. I like brand names even if the difference is negligible. Although the Amazon Basics highlighters cost the same as Sharpies, my order was not eligible for free shipping because I had made no other purchases. I bought these because their average customer rating is four and a half stars. The 12 markers were packaged simply, which is fine and works as it should. They highlight well because of their customary sloping ends. Before shooting a screenshot for this video, I was unaware that Sharpie comes in three yellows and one purple.Even still, I would have still purchased the Basics since I would have preferred another shade of yellow.Just a triva...I want to draw attention to the Chase Amazon Prime Rewards Visa's privacy statement. The highlighters are effective.Choose these if the colors don't matter or if your order doesn't fulfill the $35.00 add-on requirements. These markers currently get a five-star rating. If they prematurely dry out with regular use, I will change my rating, but for now, they are a buy!
