This brush is fantastic for my Mac foundation! It's a little heavy and challenging to remove from the bristles because I wear a full coverage makeup. I've found that cleaning this brush with an old Mary Kay electric Skinvigorate facial cleanser works the best. I moisten the brush heads on my electric brush, the Kabuki brush, and the Skinvigorate brush with hot water. I then add a pea-sized drop of Dawn soap to my electric brush and switch on the spinning Skinvigorate brush. I put it on the head of the Kabuki brush and let it spin to do its magic. Normally, it takes me several applications of soap to completely remove all of the foundation, but once I'm done, the Kabuki brush looks brand new! I am aware that it is very forbidden to wet makeup brushes with hot water because doing so burns up the glue holding the fibers together, however I have not lost a single strand from this Kabuki brush! It's incredible! If you clean it once a week, especially if you're using a full coverage, thick foundation, it will retain flawless coverage without streaks. My face feels wonderful and it is VERY gentle! Just be sure to keep it clean because, just as with any foundation, the bristles get scratchy when it has old makeup on it. My new favorite foundation brush is this one! It is incredibly silky and doesn't cause my makeup to cake. My favorite thing about the pressed powder foundation I use is how evenly it covers my face. Because I didn't want to stop using foundation, I wound up using a little more than normal, but even with the extra foundation, my skin still appeared more "airbrushed."
