These lights were put in a fixture by me. All is well thus far. They didn't blow, and installation was simple. They arrive in cardboard boxes with individually wrapped styrofoam. The bulb is not meant to be touched by bare hands. The little scrap of foam paper is useful. You take it out of the box while holding it by the paper. To hold it wasn't slippery at all.

After noting that the neighborhood is rather gloomy at night and that someone passes through checking car doors, they moved into an older home with only one porch light underneath the car port. We have three recessed into the cabinetry lights over each his and her mirror in our master bathroom. These were purchased to replace the two out-of-service lights out of the six. These were substantially brighter even though they had the same wattage and voltage as the lights I was replacing. I therefore proceeded to replace each of the six fittings. My wife has finally been satisfied with the lighting in our bathroom after four years in our home!Since I didn't want to crush them with my fingers and risk having glass shards in my fingers, I simply had to wrap some duct tape around some pliers before using them to drive these into the fixture with some extra power. The pliers were effective. I'm not sure if it was my fixtures or these bulbs that made it tough to put them in the fixtures. However, the older bulbs I was replacing fit back in absolutely well. One of these lights has already failed for me. However, I need to determine whether the issue is with the fixture or the bulb.Overall, I'd suggest these.

Blub works well. The light on my vent hood has two modes: high and low (two stage). Bulb flickers when set to "dimmer," but performs well on high beam. Although there is basically no purpose other than full on/off, I would still advise warm light rather than usual led. One bulb fits into the space in the hood housing rather well because it is a snug fit, but the second bulb doesn't fit as tightly (not a bulb issue). It is difficult to twist into place with the sort of connector it has with little leverage because of how tightly it fits in the hood, so be sure to measure accurately and compare to the bulb's size specs. So keep that in mind and check to see if you have enough room to get the bulb securely fastened in the socket by measuring the area where you intend to utilize it.

I believed that the era of the reliable, powerful lightbulb was over and that I would be trapped using curly fluorescents for the rest of my life. My kitchen has 14 recessed lights. I can't believe how inexpensive 100 watt light bulbs may be. I had given up hope of ever locating any at a fair price. Then I subscribed to Amazon Prime. Additionally, they are the classic light bulbs. Not those bizarre curling cue new style bulbs, which typically only have a 40 watt maximum. (Or would it be lumens?) They contain a lot of mercury. Additionally, I have no idea what a lumen is. But I am aware of what a 100 WATT bulb is. I'm therefore overjoyed to discover these vintage 100 watt light bulbs. Now that I can see again, I believe. This six-pack costs almost the same per bulb as the ones I purchase at my neighborhood food store. My kitchen light fixture seems to have had bulbs changed every four weeks or so. Details can be found in the photo. I can't attest to their toughness or anything, but I put one in and it works as expected. Hopefully the lifespan will be listed. I have fixtures for five lights, so this box should last me for a few years. This was the greatest pricing for a "good" quantity of bulbs. Keep in mind that oils, such as those from your fingers during installing, may also shorten the life of halogens, which, to my knowledge, dislike being dimmed greatly. The ones I bought in February 2018 had the following specifications: 500 lumens, 3000K, and 40 degrees. 1.8 years long at three hours per day.
